Hi Team..
It is that time of year, for me and most of us it is a time of family and gratitude. It can be one of the happiest times for the year, but some less fortunate it can be a reminder of how tough of a year it has been.
Our clients, you folks have been very good to us, so we want to take some of our profits, that obviously come from you and give them to a family in need. So basically you are helping them. We have $500 dollars and possibly more than we want to give.
There is one rule only, you can not vote for yourself, as this is about giving to others in need. If you know of a family or person who has fallen on hard times this year please tell us your story here on the blog. Then simply leave us your GVO username so we can be in contact with you to pick a winner.
Thank you again for such an amazing year!! Have a wonderful Holiday Season with your friends and family 🙂

YOU ARE AWSOME!!!!
GREAT Blog! In the Spirit of Christmas, Joel and Mike … I will ‘MATCH’ that $500 so we can get $1000 to a family in need OR choose 2 families! 🙂
MarkCallAwesome Mark!! Thank you so much my brother. Ok Folks it is now up to $1000
MarkCallYou freaking rock dude!
great work
Joel,
This is a great idea and truely reflects the spirit of Christmas! I am proud that I know you and can contribute in a way to your sharing. Concerning the story I know a young woman (20 years old) who comes up from very patological background (alcohol and violence in the family on daily basis). She is the only one from the entire family who wants to make her paths straight and studies to become paramedic. Unfortunately she was lately diagnosed with brain cancer and she has to move out from the family house and find a new home. Obviously her family can’t support her so she lives on very limited resources so the best Chrismats gift for her would be a new place to stay. If you decide to offer your $500 to this cause it would make up for a month or even two of a small flat rental. More details in person.

This is so awesome I’m a Janitor in a posh store (you should see the good food they chuck away it makes me so angry but yeah that’s the big corporations for you ) and there is a guy that works there he supports the homeless through his church by giving food and every year at this time of year he has a box in the canteen where he ask for donations of hats and gloves to keep the homeless warm I always contribute to the box just wish I could give more,I would love to give a gift from Pureleverage to this chap to help the less fortunate just a couple of hundred dollars would help as the rest can be shared to other families in need for a better Christmas ,I don’t really know the guy personally but i can see he is a guy that puts other people needs before him self. I know I’m not asking for a gift for a single family but i suppose to him they are like a family they are a part of him and what he is about.
Kind Regards

HwSo I had to think who is the most deserving that I could think of, and hands down my sister. 6 years ago my sister was battling the worst demon alive, Heroin. Then March 4th she got the call that would change her life. Her Daughters father was found dead of an overdose in the Taco del mar bathroom. Everyone assumed that she would be next but watching the hurt and pain that her then Daughter of 5 was going through. No baby girl should have to learn to learn live without there daddy. My sister beat her demon that day, and made a promise that she would work as hard as possible to give her Daughter the life She deserves.
Hey Guys, Such a Wonderful Idea 🙂
I have a dear friend who has 4 children 13 and younger. They have had a number of misfortunes over the last few years, loss of jobs, bankrupcy, the passing of her mother, grandpa had to move out of town, the list goes on and Health concerns of top of everything else. Its been tough and I can see it on their faces. I do take along groceries when I visit and make sure the kids receive a great gift for birthdays, and help with school supplies, trying to keep things normal. I have pulled together some gifts, toys for the kids this year. But I know they certainly would be overwhelmed with gratitude in receiving extra monies that could be used for clothes or even pay a heating bill or two. I will be visiting on the 27th to celebrate with the family.
For Your consideration:) Merry Christmas

Do dzisiaj trwa postępowanie o uzyskanie odszkodowania.

Hello. Im homeless and have been trying to figure this out for about 1year. I was doing everything i was sposed to do and even had some traffic sent to the site but my niche wasnt very sought after. I would ask that you please help me and if i were to be the one to get the present i would put it toward getting all my accounts and everything set up and making the money you speak of being able to make
I have two candidates for this.
Both of them were marketers with their own unique talents.
The First one Lisa-Marie Spires.
On September 9, 2013 Lisa-Marie suffered a stroke. She spent 3 weeks in ICU and then was transferred to a local rehab center in the Overland Park, KS area and has a long recovery ahead of her. She has suffered the last 18 years with P.O.T.S. (POSTURIOR ORTHOSTATIC HYPOTENSION SYNDROME), with low blood volume and “clumpy blood” and is currently on 3 blood thinners. They are hoping to be able to use acupuncture and hyperbaric oxygen therapy for healing. She is currently trying to get off ventilator and trach in rehab 1 and is having challenges with stroke recovery, to find a new effective healing treatment, and a doctor who has knowledge of P.O.T.S. as the old treatment contributed to her stroke. She (normally) homeschool’s 2 children, and her husband is currently trying to support and be with her, as well as their children at home, while trying to keep his job

The second person is Paul Pease
Paul was recently in an accident that resulted in 3 places in his back being broken and 1 place in his neck also broken. Paul does not have insurance and will be in the hospital for many months. We are asking for donations for food, medical bills, household bills, gas, lodging, etc.. He believes in the power of the Lord and is recovering miraculously but still has a long road ahead of him. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless you all. Visit Miracles for Paul on facebook for any updates.

Dear Joel and Mark! I congratulate you a Merry Christmas I wish you prosperity to you personally and your leadership of our company GVO Inc, I wrote our own, because it has long felt its (their home). May God bless us!
Hello my name is Carmen Florentino, I love that you giving away $500, I too need 500 dollars, for this Christmas for me is my worst. I have no money this year too have a great christmas with my children. Serenity is 5 and I have twins Chloe and Elijah, they are 5 months, I feel less of a parent right now because i cant provide for my children the way I want too. Ive tried work at home company and they were sending me fraudulent checks. Thank god the bank never released the checks and i didnt have to pay the bank back. I have -10 dollars in my account because i have to pay to have the account open. I dont even have money to actually try a nice work at home or extra income program for me to even start some money to enjoy the life I want with my children.
Im happy that you are choosing a family to give the $500 too. They will be the luckiest family this season to enjoy it. I will gladly go on to your blog and help your cause but please remember me. Though I have a smile on my face my heart and soul is torn apart that I cant have a good christmas for my babies. With that said I’d love to help you find a family in need. You have a great Holiday and enjoy it with your family as well, my the christmas songs bringd smile and joy every where.
I was searching for something on Craig’s List and stumbled across an ad that said “Please Help Us!” It was a young couple, Jeff and Sydney, that have an 18 month old daughter named Kathleen, She’d lost her job, he was out of work and neither of their parents will take them in. Jeff’s grandmother said that she would let them stay until the first. They do not have a car, home, jobs, anything and are afraid to go to a shelter because of their daughter. I let them stay with us for a couple of weeks but I can’t support another family.
Every little bit helps. Thank-you for putting this generous opportunity out there!

The most deserving person i can think of is my sister We’ve called her Peaches since she was a toddler. She has 4 kids & is currently pregnant with her 5th while going through a really rough divorce/ separation. To top it off she is recently out of work and now worried about paying January’s rent. I would love nothing more than to see her granted this gift. Thanks My GVO username is MichelleT
I write about a Pastor who served in excess of 25 years in the mission fields. He has during the past 12 months had open heart surgery and a total knee replacement. he has an autistic 25 year old son who is creating numerous problems. The Pastor likewise suffers from degenerative joint problems and is mainly confined to a wheelchair. After 40 years in the ministry it would be great to help a man who can only rely on God. He needs a hoist to be installed on his motor vehicle to lift his wheel chair…this $500 might well go along way to giving back to Pastor his well deserved independence. A just reward for his on going efforts to others.

i am totally disabled raising my for kids on 600 dollaes a month and i have no means ofbuying any christmas for my family dont even have extra to buy a rec of wood to help stay warm the mannon family wishes everyone a very happy holiday season
Hello this family has to be moved out by the 23rd of December. The single mother of 6 has lost her job for telling the truth in need of shelter for the holiday. So many issues hard to explain she is having a hard time.
I have a co-worker that has 3 kids and a wife that has been struggling for years with bills. He has 2200 going out a month and only 1200 coming in a month. This Holiday season has put him so thin that he has no present for his kids. I try to help but I haven’t really made anything on here yet. But his family really touched me lately and I wanted to help after I saw this. GVo username—Dan0fanpage
Hello Joel & Terry
I think this is the most awesome thing I ever saw a Company do and I am touched.
There is one family I hope would receive this gift and it is Daniel who is a 27 year mother of 3 kids and struggling badly. 3 months ago her 3rd child Jaiden was bore which really was a blessing but also a financial drain. Danielle is a good mother but has to be on welfare just to feed her family and pay her rent. So I vote for her.
Thank You

This is a wonderful thing you are doing – and even more wonderful that you are letting us participate thus giving us the opportunity to be part of giving.
I have a friend who is homeless. He is not the only one, I know. But this person is the nicest, most wonderful person I have ever met. He is all about helping others, just like you. He helps everyone who asks for help, drives old ladies to doctor appointments, fixes things for others. He is very talented at fixing things. Unfortunately, 2013 was not good for him, his car broke down (a car he has gotten from his mom when she could not drive any more), his health broke down, and he doesn’t have the means to pay for a mobile phone. In addition, he is struggling to eat. I do bring him some food from time to time, but he badly needs some help with money so that he can survive the cold winter. And I don’t know a single person who deserves it more.
Your help,we will appreciate highly. In this season of and joyful greeting ,we wish you and our team a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.May God”s love stay in our Hearts.
My daughter’s family is in real need. My daughter has several health issues, one is heart complications. She is trying to work a part time job at the local bowling alley. Her husband works at a local factory, that will shut down for 2 weeks, so no pay,. They have 4 wonderful children, 16, 14, 8 and 6. They had no bed, so I found a king bed online and we ordered a mattress on sale at Sears for them. They had a old set of box springs, but I guess something is wrong with them, because my son-in-law said he had to fix them first before they can set up the bed. There house has mice all the time because their basement has only a dirt floor. I’m not even sure how a house could be sold with that condition.
Any way, they are trying very hard but could really use a little help. My husband and I try but we are both disability retired and on Social Security which does not go far. So if you can help them this holiday, it would really be a blessing to this family. And a blessing to me, as I am going broke trying to help in any way I can.
Thank you so very much for reading my story and considering this family. God bless you for your generosity and may you and yours have a very blessed Merry Christmas.
Thank you!

I need help for my brothers, sister ,cousins and nephews in Africa. I send half the money I make every month to Africa.
I move to AMERICA to better our condition and to change the hardship in family to success. I join GVO through EZmoneynetwork, but Unable to get downline to make profit. I later join Purleverag, and I spent almost 400 dollars for leads, but I was able to get only one signup. So I decided to stop online business because I am not able make the type of money promise you will make when you join their program. Now, I am giving a second try to GVO, and believing God to see me through and grant me financial upgrade.

Here is a pat on the back for all of the family at GVO! Love you guys.
I have a cousin who has been battling Hepatitis C and liver issues this past year. Although she is struggling financially, she is one of these people that does so much for others without any expectations. Her kindness includes adopting a child that came from a drug abusive home, taking in displaced family members with small children and always running collection efforts for the poor when she has nothing herself. Her husband came home from work Friday and told her he just lost his job. She never complains she just says that God will take care of them somehow.
It would be wonderful if she had a surprise by someone doing something for her during this difficult time.
Bless you and your family for being so generous. You Rock!!
Sincerely,
Cynthia
My Fiance of 7 years passed away last Thanksgiving..my younger son moved in to help me try and keep our home..a few months later his doctor starting giving him injections in his back and knees..to no avail we lost the home and everything in it..we were able to save little clothes and had to move to a motel where we are residing now. my reason for writing this is to see if someone out there can give my 2 yr old grand daughter a Christmas..her 1st Christmas she was only 2 months old..not knowing what Christmas was then..her 2nd Christmas was right after hurricane Sandy and everything was destroyed..so she never got her Christmas..this year..we want to make it special..even though it will be her 3rd..it will actually be her 1st…I care for my handicap son and have a hard time getting around as i don’t have a car…please..i am not worried about me..we just would like to have a good Christmas for her…at least this once …much love sent your way for reaching out to families in need…Sincerely, Florence

Hi. I would like to say my neighbors need help for this holiday. They came to Canada over a year ago. They have a 6 year old boy and a little girl that will turn 1 in January. The father went to school to be able to find a job but for some reason is getting no where since his English isn’t strong enough but speaks perfectly in french. He works hard to make ends meet. He decided to go to a English as a second language to be able to find a job. I see him walking in rain or shine in good or bad weather to do what is needed for his family. I’ve been trying to put together a gift basket for them but I do what I can what with I have. I believe that if they received that money they would be the happiest family around.
Thank you.
Sophie
I know someone who lost a parent at xmas. I think she deserves a gift this xmas. she cries alot at xmas. so she need the comfort sure.
I sure could use some help with Christmas this year. My husband was very ill this summer with a blotched surgery that kept him out of work for 3 months and we have had a hard time getting back on out feet. We gdt paid on 12/27 yet the electric Nx water are scheduled to be shut off on the 27th. The $500 would keep the utilities on. We have 5 children who are WONDERFUL young people. Ages 14, 9,8,7, and 3. We just need to make it until Feb and then we will be ontop of things again. Thank you

Hello! Please if you can tell is 500 USD for children in Poland. Here is their website http://www.wioskisos.org There you account and see what they do for children. I sent them money once, I still have their gratitude.
I have a friend who lost his cat of 12 years, his father, and his wife’s grandmother this month during the holidays. He needs help covering funeral expenses this month and also to be able to buy gifts for the 3 children he adopted when he married his wife. He is a very kind, loving, selfless man that I know would really appreciate the help. My heart goes out to him that he experienced all this during the holidays.

I truly don’t think I can compete with 100 people but the truth is I don’t need your money. And most of the comments are from the broke people who need money for their family.C’mon now.Get a job or do something with your life.$500 will not help you.IF you know how to post a comment here you eligible to learn how you can make some cash.I have 2 nephews (My sister’s twin kids) and they are not getting anything for new years eve because that’s how their parent’s decide to live their life.My sister is so broke even my mom don’t like her.So think twice before you post any comments here unless you need it for some good reasons. If you lost your job think again before you loose it how you can do without that only existing job.Have a back up plan for all the reach people challenge c’z they don’t care about you because they can help you only once.
Have a great new year and i hope i did not offended anyone here.

Hi, I know a family who has 3 sons & a daughter they aren’t in the position to give them the Christmas they deserve because the husband is the only working due to the wife having medical issues that keep her from working. He has spent the majority of his paychecks paying for a lawyer that’s helping him to keep his aunt from trying to take it house from him.
I´m Veronica from Phlippines living here in Brasil as a volunteer missionary w/ 5 kids. These past months until now, our family was in total difficulties as my son was hospitalized in the mid of August. He started to open spiritually, until he was out of control and ended up to a psychiatric hospital for adolescents. He was liberated only last October but still under medical supervision and medications. We totally focused our time to my son´s situation hospitalized in more than a thousand kms. away from our remote city. But the most tragic situation where I want to give my vote is to my friend Ardel who was able to survive and at the same time saved her daughter in Tacloban City, Philippines where it was totally devastated by a supertyphoon Yolanda last November. She totally lost everything, her husband and other family members. Hope that everyone could give your vote to her in this Christmas.
Thank you very much. Vronique
My sister Anna Reeve (63yrs old) got hit with devastated news (about 8 months ago) that her husband decided to leave her after a 30+yr marriage decided to leave her with their two blessed handsome boys after losing their home to foreclosure (about 4 months ago) and had been a 20yr cancer survivor over another woman. All this came about when she was given the news on her last recent visit to AD Anderson in Houston Texas that her cancel had come back on her spinal cord and brain. My beautiful sister is staying at my brothers house for the last 6 to 8 months with good spirit (Primero Dios) and to put icing on the cake Mr. Reeve also had spent every penny from my sisters retirement teaching fund after being a teacher for ? Elementary School. username marcoaramirezsr Marco A. Ramirez Sr.

She is a hard worker and a good mother. She is very appreciative of any help our family can give her from time to time, but does not ask for handouts.
please consider her for your gracious gift. THANK YOU!

I’m Jeremiah Udoh, I know a single mother of 2, she is a Church member, she has no job since she lost her job. She is living on odd jobs to keep the family going, because of that the children were out of school. You know here in Nigeria the Economy is not encouraging. I really feel for them but I cannot even help, I believe the $ 500 will put more joy, happiness, caring and above all LOVE to them in this season. This alone can set her up when change in our currency for She is highly industrious and hard working, this will be thousands of naira in our Country she has an Idea but no cash to facilitate it, so this will go a very long way in reaching out to them, She is Favour by name
Remain Blessed

I am a single unemployed father and grandfather trying to care for my daughter, unemployed since she just gave birth, and my newborn granddaughter. I have high blood pressure, and, according to drs, half of my heart is nothing but scar tissue. I also have bad knees, shoulders, and ankles, and arthritis in both hands. This makes finding work difficult, although I am trying, and any help at all would be gratefully accepted. Thank you
I would like to nominate my own family. I am a 33 year old mother of 3 beautiful young boys. I was working until I had a mini stroke while on the job. I was diagnosed with an auto immune disorder, Antiphosolipid Syndrome. I have been fighting for disability with no luck. My husband does a wonderful job helping to take care of me as well as the children. I have some good days as well as bad days. We have no income and no way to buy presents for our sons who believe in Santa. My sons are such beautiful, bright individuals who deserve a descent Christmas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You!!
My wife has a friend who just lost he husband to cancer and she has cancer also. She has throat cancer and breast cancer. She has no children or family to help her out. She lost the social security disability benefits from her husband and is trying to get her social security disability benefits. If you met this lady, you would like her immediately. She always wears a smile and is very considerate of others. I know that five hundred dollars would mean a lot to her at this time and I know she would sincerely appreciate it. Win or not, I am proud to be associate with an organization like yours. Thank you for being there for others. rabaggio1
Hi Joel and Mike,
I want to give my mother and father a gift for Christmas but
I can not afford it.
Why? My parents have been giving my family money. They are
poor. They would be in total ..shock!
My husband lost his job 4 years ago, losing our house and I just
got laid off.
Merry Christmas to you..and everyone.
To 2014,
Therese

Dear Joel and Mike,
I am a good candidate for $500! Unfortunately I had to quit the program because I couldn’t afford all the start-up cost. My username was “gblake” and my son and I live in a camper and our only income is $70 a week I really don’t see how we get by with car insurance and all the other extras that come up and I have actually lost my drivers license because I could not come up with the money to pay a fine. Christmas, well my children know not to expect anything from me but it doesn’t stop them from telling me what they want. It just breaks my heart! Also, I have a niece and two nephews whose mother is in jail this holiday season and they will not be getting much of a Christmas either! Usually we get help from the Salvation Army but since we have moved to a different county two years ago we no loner get help from them nor anyone else. So thankful for my family because without them to spend time with during the holidays we wouldn’t have any holiday at all! Thanks for Reading and God Bless

I vote for whatever story you see Joel that puts a special compassion and love in your heart for the people in the story, because that is the only kind of gift that will ever make a difference in this world. A gift given freely and out of love because of special compassion. There is no way I could pick one family over any other, so that’s my two cents on it.
Hi Joel, I was thinking about the people in need in my neighborhood, but after I read the story about Yolanda, in Philippines I change my mind and I will like give my vote to her. Thank you for helping. Wishing you and yours all the best for a bright holiday season and wonderful New Year!
Joel,
thanks for the offer. I don’t know of any right now BUT please read my blog that talks of sharing gifts less fortune than myself and gym members – very interesting blog http://bitly.com/IOctTj
Thanks for all you do

My daughter could use some help this holiday season. She is a single mom of three. She works for a temporary company that don’t offer many benefits. She is putting one son thru college he will graduate in May 2014. Her other son works at the same place she work, and she has a 13 year old daughter. She has a large mortgage payment and her utilities is more than it should be, not including her water bill. My husband and I help her out as much as we can we both are on a fixed income. The son that works with her lives in his own apartment and has to pay rent and car payment for himself. She get no child support from her daughters father. It is a struggle for her to keep her mortgage paid and her car going and food for them. She has never used government assistance because she was always a few dollars over and chances of getting food stamps or aid or medicaid. She is buying her house, her car and has to keep everything up. She never ask for anything even when she know she need help. It would be a blessing if she could have some extra money to but her daughter something for Christmas and pay some on her bills. Nobody will probably read this or think she need help but if she is not picked for this will you all pray that her and her daughter have a wonderful Christmas anyway. Thank you!
I know a handicap lady that has a protestes and she will not be getting anything from her children for because one of her daughters is not able to due almost dying a car accident. she is a diabetic. when she gets her disabilty check and pays her bills. she doesn’t even have money left for food, purchase cleaning supplies, personal items. I feel like if someone would bless her that would really lift her spirits up during the holidays.
First of all I’d like to congratulate GVO for the excellent job you’re doing. I’ve experienced excellent…I mean excellent customer service even on a weekend.. I’m very happy! 😉
I’m an online entrepreneur. .. based here in Riverside, California. A single mom with a passive income. I’m blessed with my business and I too am giving back to people. My 3yr old daughter
and I will be flying to the Philippines for a mission. We are helping a municipality in Leyte who have been greatly hit by Haiyan. Many of the people we’re helping are people that worked with us for 3 decades in mission and outreach when I was in the Philippines. We have chosen a municipality where NO help has been given so far…all houses have been devastated.. NO media, No car..can reach this place…because it’s so far away from the city.
If you have it in your heart to help a family in Tolosa Leyte in the Philippines. A family who’ve lost everything.. House..everything even the boats ( their only way to make money) … Their town didn’t reach any media..because it’s so far from the city…no cars…could reach…hardly no food being given to this community.
I’m flying back home 2013 to help my best friend who’s a missionary and a social worker and help with the rebuilding process focusing on “livelihood”… But right now, many of these people don’t even have food, shelter for Christmas. It’s a bit sad the despite the help from many countries , our country is full of POLITICS… that’s why many private agencies, volunteers are directly helping the people to make sure all goods, money get to the people.
You’re 500usd will definitely go a long way for this family. 500usd = 25k plus pesos already. It’ll be enough to have food for christmas, medicines, a tent, and even build a small sari-sari store ( small grocery) for 2014 as their livelihood.
If or when you do decide to help this family. I will acknowledge your help through a video by the family and show proof or results…and will be posted on my upcoming site RebuildThePhilippines ( hosted by GVO of course )…..
I’m so glad that we have an online business which gives us the Freedom to work on our business anywhere for as long as we have a laptop and an internet. But I’m mostly grateful that I got into this online business, 1. so I can take care of my daughter , 2. so I can live my Purpose here on earth… and that’s to reach out to people who are in need and make a difference. And since we’re focusing on “livelihood” aside from helping families with their boats, or help them have small or mini groceries…I know that I can help people become entrepreneurs online. And with GVO I’ll be able to leverage my time more because of the marketing tools that you’ve provided and you are not stopping in providing more added features whether marketing tools or business opportunity.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful Productive New Year!

I hate to be the one-but it’s my family that could desperately use a leg up! I’ve been fortunate enough to have a loving husband and two beautiful children, but fate has not been kind to us year…I have yet to come to terms with our situation, it all happened so fast! My husband has been a union laborer for 15 years, and we’ve recently been told by his doctor that he has “degenerative disc disease”, and he will no longer be capable of doing his job. That was 2 weeks ago, and I’m embarrassed to say we had not planned for the future at all and I just spent our last $30 on a tree and lights- I made the ornimants with my kids; we made circles of construction paper and wrote what we were thankful for on each one! They are so great, so full of hope and the love of the holidays that you lose when you grow older… I just want to give my children a Christmas, please help me! My daughter is 4, she likes anything as long as its pink, and my 10 year old son Gino is a nature/ science buff. Anything anyone could do would be so appreciated, I humbly ask for your help.
Thank you,

I have a friend that is struggling this year because she just lost here brother to type 1 diabetes and she has a daughter that has type 1 diabetes too and was just diagnosed with belles palsy and she has a son that is autistic and needs help all the time.
yes joel i know a family that is not going to have any christmas this year and that is my daughter and her 5 kids and me. im trying so hard to look for a Iinternet business that is not going to cost me any upfront fee,so i can provide a christmas for my grandkids. but time is running out. I haive always taught my family as they were growing up, that there are always someone less fortunate then we are, and we need to be thankful that we have each other and not to be caught up in our own selfish means and be thankful what we do have. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND HAPPY NEW YEAR. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Last Thursday Dec. 19, 2013, I helped someone pick up groceries from the food bank. I met a lady there, her name was Tina. She had a baby in a stroller, about one year old. I though the baby could have been dressed warmer on a cold day like that. THere was no shawl or hat on the baby’s head, just a large hoodie in a strong cold wind.. I had both shawl and hat, and I was still feeling very cold waiting in line outside, with my friend.
The baby was crying and crying (possibly from feeling cold), and after a while Tina was crying, too, while waiting in the long line.. So everyone ahead of her in line decided to let her go through, right away, so she can get the food and go home with the baby.
Then I noticed Tina had difficulty talking. Somehow I could understand what she was saying, but she had some kind of impairment and was not able to pronounce the words properly. She had to repeat several times until we figured out what she was saying.
While Tina was leaving the Food Bank, her baby lost the gloves, so I run after her and put the gloves back on the baby girl’s hands. Tina told me she also has three other boys at home. Not sure what ages, but Tina looked about 30 years old. She went to take the bus home.
I think $500 would make a great difference for this special lady and her 4 children. I would personally give Tina a ride to buy groceries and warm clothes for her children.
Thanks, Julia

My daughter and her husband have been had job list and company slow down over thus entire year. I keep their the children for them to work and save money so they could get an apartment and stoop living in their car. When school started they were living in a hotel so the children were able to caught the bus from the hotel. They were able to get an apartment, however it was out of the school district and in an effort to not disrupt the children more they drive them back and forth to the school. This was good because they both worked close to the childrens school, then a deer ran into their path going home one night the week of Thanksgiving. Now they do not have a car… My daughter has lost her job, the children had to change schools, and her husband is thumbing and catching rides to get to work.
They were called by the childrens last school with a time to pick up toys for tots, they got a ride there to pick up the toys and the other school had taken their name off the list. My daughter and her three children ages 8, 6, & 5 walked to a church to get some food. I mail as much as I can of food and toys for Christmas.
Please help!
Thank you.
Hi i’m in need of this holiday gift.I have one grandson he is my life and joy.it’s sad because I don’t have not even a Christmas tree.I don’t work I’m on disability, I can’t even get him a gift. My gift to him is the love I have for him, he don’t understand that because he’s only two years old.I would love to get him a least a gift that he could appreciate from grandma.thank you for accepting my story and listening to me.
Guys , you are great with great hearts. I know now I am in with the right company. Wonderful 2014! Love, Wieslaw from Poland.
Mornin’ Joel & ALL the team too!
What a wonderful PIF act of kindness you are doing. You are a blessing in our lives and we are all Thankful for you, for GVO & PL!
As I reflect back, I have several that come to mind, of which all are in need. Yet, one stands out a little more, my online friend & his wife, Philip & Lori. They have no clue I am doing this. They have had a very bumpy past couple of years, both elderly and disabled. and both are Diabetics. They had to leave a shared apartment in Ca, relocate to Oregon, had to leave that little duplex as the manager needed that handicap place for someone else, once again they had to move. They are away from family. Their son, just came home from the service, and yet the other night was in the wrong place at the wrong time, was stabbed, they received the phone call, he was in critical condition in CA hospital. They packed some belongings and drove thru the snow to get to him. They made it in time. They had no money, so i sent him what little I had left, 15 dollars for gas.
They have nothing by means of food for Christmas, and truly get by on a wing and a prayer. Now they are having to drive back home so as to not loose this little place they have, as the landlord is going to kick them out etc.
I have a suggestion…………….
I have read these stories, and my heart breaks.
How about picking “5” people and dividing up the money with each of them? ….just a suggestion, to spread the wealth.
I wish I could do lots more, but yet, I too struggle.
Thank you for all you do,
Have a blessed Christmas too.
Warmly,
kathie

I got a phone call from a family who were searching on craigslist for someone to donate furniture to them. The family had moved from NYC to here in Columbia, SC. I had placed an ad in craigslist that was reaching out to anyone who wanted to learn how to obtain biblical wealth. (I am a former Pastor). The mother stated that GOD had directed her to search and research because it was not normal for her to go on craigslist for anything. After talking to her for about the span of an hour, she shared with me that she and her husband had six children and no transportation. Well, to spare so much detail, I am hoping that these nice people would be blessed with your gift and thank you for an opportunity to make others happy. The thought of you doing this was awesome. I know they need it and will be grateful.

Hi GVO,
My name is Kisha Joseph Pereira I am a mother of 6 and lives in the Caribbean ,a little Island called Trinidad . In my life I lived on the streets with my kids and it hasnt been pleasant and 3years ago we were offered to take refuge in an apartment owned by my friend brother…
recently we’ve been told we have to move out of the apartment and we had nowhere to go…luckily we were given the opportunity to build a home on a piece of land that was occupied by my sister ..it’s gov’t land and some issues arose. we were told that if we don’t construct a house before 2013 is up we could lose our only opportunity to have somewhere to live.
I dont have a job no can I afford to buy food to eat for this christmas season…don’t have furniture or any luxuries but I do have faith and hope …the hope that help will come to us somehow…Please if you can help us it sure will mean alot to me and my kids.
I know that there is alot of disasters all over the world and my heart goes out to all those that are in need…I too often wish I was in a situation where I can help others but for now I am also in need myself …Please help me and my family please make a difference for us and help us to build a home and buy some food for christmas.Thanking you kindly and may God richly bless you all.
Sincerely,
Kisha.
This is my friend Vantay. She has been my friend for 22 years.
We first met, when we were both enlisting in the military. Van is a USMC
and US Army veteran. She’s a divorced mother of 3 children. Vantay is
also a cancer patient. She was diagnosed with breast cancer
approximately 6 months ago. Since she had her surgery in July, Vantay
hasn’t worked. She’s was only a part-time employee of the Department of
Homeland Security before, she got sick awaiting the opportunity to
become a full-time employee. But, being a part-time employee, she didn’t
have long-term disability. So, she’s been relying on the charity of her
fellow employees for income, as they have donated some of their
vacation time to her so, that she can receive some money. She’s finished
Chemo and started radiation last week. She’s proud and it was a
struggle getting her to allow others to help her thru this storm of life
but, she’s stubbornly agreed. I would love for her to have, just a
little better Christmas and would appreciate, your help too!!!

Good morning,
I am behalf of my younger sister Bev. She is a nurse and works
full-time, but has had significant health issues. She battles fibromyalgia
and a kidney issue. There is a cyst in
one of her kidneys that will not go away. She’s had two surgeries to mend the issue that were unsuccessful. One surgery was in September 2013.
Bev lives seven hours away from more of the family. During 2013, she’s had
to travel home to help our family members. We’ve had to travel down to help care for her after surgeries.
She just learned that she will require another surgery in January to remove
half or the entire kidney. This comes on
the heels of her employer requiring her to complete two more years of education
in order to keep her nursing job. The $500 would go a long way in helping pay
for either books or medical needs for January.
God bless. Merry Christmas.

I meet a very wonderful family over the summer. They have two beautiful little girls. Her husband was laid off over the holidays and won’t have any money till after the new yer. We have Christmas cheer here. They went. And received some help. However they only received gifts for the 9 year old. Their other daughter didn’t get anything. Now they don’t know what to do. I wish I could help them but I don’t have any money to help them out. Her girls will be here tomorrow night and my friend is very depressed because she has nothing to give her little girl. I want them to receive the donation of $500 so they can give their girls a nice Christmas. They were very good to me in the summer time when I needed help.
My name is Alex Stoian and I am writeing this from my hose in Pitesti, Romania. Outside is cold and it will start snowing soon. I am not so good at writeing in English so if my sentence is not proof, message is more important.
I have a neighbor who start his networkmarketing business two years ago. His wife is a awesome lady, but don’t give him a break. Always she said to him to stop scaming people saleing them shampoos and things like that. She lost a baby some time ago becouse he had down simdrom and since then she is not who she was. My friend is ravaged and hope to sustain his family by seling shampoo. He don’t understand english at all so Purelaverage is not for him right now.
My wish for the Christmas is to give that 500$ to JoyHeartwell and to insert into the player of Purelaverage video the option to embed subtitles (*.srt, *.sub). In this way, a lot of tutorials will be available in many languages, translated by customers and reselers. If we can send videoemails talking in english and haveing the option to translate them into any other language, Purelaverage will broke all the records on the videocomunication industry.

P.S. We wish you a Mery Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I’d like to put my Daughter on the List , She is Raising 3 kids by herself and just about the only Christmas they’ll get is what Grandma and I can afford for them. I’d like to do more for them but can only afford so much. We help pay for her Expenses and keep her car and her house, but we are getting thin ourselves. Thanks for all the Great work that you do! Merry Christmas to all.
Hey Joel,
first of all I just want to say that you guys did it again, you keep amazing me in the things you do. A very good example that we are working with very real people here. I could easily tink of about 5 – 10 families that could need a helping hand, but running through these post I can see you have enough to choose from. I´m socially involved in some projects as well from street children upto violated women etc, and from experience I know every little thing helps. Having said this why don´t you divide the 500$ and give 100$ away to 5 causes, you will make 5 families equally happy with 100$ each then just 1 family with 500$, but that is just my humble opinion.
I m glad Im on your team and wishing both Mike and you all the best with the holidays.
PS: If you need someone to help you with the Dutch setup of Pure Leverage, Im native speaking 😉
Great job Joel and all at GVO/PureLeverage. I would have loved to nominate a women in Uganda who is supporting about 100 orphans (and continues even following her husband’s recent death). You have so many families. Recommendation: give each $50. It translates much for a few days’ meals for those families.
In my City in Ontario, we have been enjoying some challenging weather conditions…just getting over the ice storm. But we are not complaining. We’re alive and healthy so …much for which to be thankful. Continue your great work of care and compassion. Blessings for 2014!
