Hey Everyone..
There is a specific reason why I do all my blogs in video. Video has a both a “sub conscious and conscious” effect on our outlook. When you see video a couple of sub conscious things occur..
- this guy / girl may not be a scam artist, as he is willing to show who he is
- this person is real, I can identify with him / her
- I can appreciate who they are.
No matter what, when someone is willing to put themselves out there, others respect it and eventually come to feel as though they “know who you are”
By no means am I a celebrity, but I am always shocked by the effect my videos have on people. Last week I was at AffilaiteSummit.com in Las Vegas and well I felt like a mini rock star. I had never been to Affiliate Summit before so I was not expecting anyone to know who I was. On the contrary I had hundreds of people approach me.
“Joel how are you?”
That was very humbling I must admit. It was a real pleasure to get to know so many people who felt as though they knew me personally even though we have never met.
