  • You guys certainly are BUSY! Keep up the great hard work. We are all very excited! Keith (Donald Frump) Carberry

  • Hey Joel,

I am not even a member of your company (YET) and I was allowed to attend Mark Call’s blog class last nite. I want you to know that I learned more in that 1 and 1/2 hour class than I did with a course that I paid $297 for. I have been working with Kim Nesbitt to be one of your leaders for GVO Conference. I am VERY impressed with the way your company does business and the fact that your classes really WORK !! Kim and Mark are GREAT !!

  • Great Post! Your are the blog kings! I love Blogging. Excellent tips!

    I love this company…

    Silvia.

  • How about 2 or 3 examples of blogs written by Joel and Mike, and put into the back ofice.
Never sure if it should look like an advert or what.
Should we refer to GVO or the products. How many words long etc.
Could you show us an example of a bad blog ?
Are you talking of EVP Blogs like you and Mike do weekily?
Please put a blog, (example) if you were a member of GVO and not the owners.
Put updated blogs in the back ofice, so we can refer to everytime.
    Thanks
    Don

  • Hey Guys,

Sure miss your blogs on a consistent basis, but man when you get one out there, it’s worth the wait!

Great post that picked up where Take Action Tuesday on GVO Academy left off last night!

I loved what you said about never stop learning. GVO Academy truly was instrumental, along with all the video tutorials in our back office, in personally getting ME off the fence and taking action to bring our business to the next level. Until GVO, I never blogged, let alone understood the importance of it. Thank you for giving us the keys, all we have to do is start our engines 🙂

Can’t wait for the blogger builder and can’t wait to see you ALL in San Antonio!

    Deb Lane

  • Thanks Joel for the update on Blogging. I do not know if you have looked at Blogger at Google lately but they have really made it quick and
much more easy to change back and forth to get instant changing to template, color, themes etc..

I prefer the 3&4 columns the most but forgot how to make some of the changes to adjust between the columns. They use a lot of Wood Press
now also. The best news for me is that Blog Buster opened up again.

Let me know where I can get into your private blog to tell you what
has been going on since I could not get the dream wish that was in your last offer, that was a killer, and perfect to retire on.

Keep in touch that Is where I still belong! Manly Flores

  • Joel, Mike,
    Excellent post guys.
Thank you for all you do.
It is no surprise you are successful.
You help others succeed, that is the
    key to success.

  • Joel & Mike,

I can not say how much you have impacted our lives… The BLOGGING show ALL cam from what YOU have taught me, Joel – and I can never repay the education you are giving ALL of us as a Whole!

You are ALWAYS staying ahead of the curve with the tools and make it easier and easier all the time!

    You BOTH … R O C K !!

    – Mark Call

    • Thanks for all the awesome posts! So far some incredible feed back!
We will break more in depth on what works for us!
      We are all blog king’s!

      Have an awesome night!

  • You guys are actually real? I have gotten a lot of email from Joel and always deleted them but something just made me to read through to understand that you are into blogging. The fact is IU started blogging in 2005 but did not take it seriously and recently I just got back on. I am all about the chit chat of everyday and I need to generate traffic to it. How does this work?

  • Awesome post this guys, fantastic information as always.

    Many thanks onca again.

  • I started out in the internet marketing arena in 2005. I hold a degree in Business and Economics. One fellow networker made a suggestion that I start a blog back in 2005. It took me until 2007 to get one up and active.

Within a couple of months, a networking leader overseas saw my post about a product and within a few weeks, what seems like half of Russia was in my downline. Now I know from real life that time spent blogging is critical to online success.

Looking forward to the blogger product and a long relationship with GVO.

  • You are ALWAYS staying ahead of the curve with the tools and make it easier and easier all the time!

  • yes my friend I know it is very important to have a blog and I would love to learn the tricks unfortunately I do not speak English y Portaña not understand your language I see your video to understand more crazy not understand is why we have lost many opportunities good to earn much money I really wanted to have a blog I will keep trying to learn, thanks for inviting me I do not even being part of your page which to me is an eminent, leave you a hug

  • I never get tired of hearing how you first started out Joel. You & Mike are two of the best bloggers on the internet. It would be cool to cover some tips on which proper policy disclaimers to have on our blogs so they look professional and are compliant with laws. I’m taking everything you have givin me out in town to my local business friends very soon. Thanks again for the inspiration Keep up the good work guys.

  • Your cashflow explanation is exactly what I have called my business building SNOWBALL.

  • Thanks for sharing your blogging tips. I love it.

  • Absolutely.
    Bloging is king!
And video bloging is even better because people can actually know you and that is huge!
    Well done

  • Great video, tips and information. I really enjoy watching you two. The best tip for me was being more consistent with my blogging…something I’m guilty of not doing. If someone visits my blog and sees I have not posted for 6 weeks they may not return or subscribe. Thanks for the reminder. I look forward to growing my business with GVO and all future benefits.

    Peace & Healthy Blessings,
    Barbara Arbster 🙂

  • Very Inspiring & hepful…Guys you give us all tools
& hints how to max out both use & profit. Thank you
for all you do & we just can’t wait to hear more 🙂

  • Thanks for the great tips,
These is where i em focusing on growing
my business with GVO. As always the best …

  • Great video, I like your guys positive energy!

And to address Barbara Arbster’s point, one tip I learned a long time ago is to remove the date and time stamp from my blog posts! That way they always look fresh. Obviously, it’s best to post often, but sometimes life gets in the way or you travel or whatever.

I am also always surprised at how many visitors my old posts get, and because the visitors don’t know they’re old, they are move likely to leave comments etc. If they saw the post was two years old they might just move on.

  • i must say good info i have a lot of work to do thanks

  • I’m new to GVO and I’m loving everything it has to offer. The approaching the local brick and mortar buisnesses has really got me pumped up. Where can I get some more indepth training on this? I can see success finally happening for me.

  • Great video i good job. I realy believe what you say.

  • Hey Joel & Mike,

You guys are doing a tremendous work with GVO. I have been watching you guys in the past, and i think that GVO is the REAL Deal…

By the way, i just wanted to make a quick announcement. I have been working on my blog lately, and i have done a lot of SEO,and generating tons of outbound links. When i first click on your link, I have noticed that your permalink is on a default mode.

It would be easier for you to change it to “Custom Structure” and use that code :”%postname% That way, Google will find your Keywords faster.

I know that you have been really busy, but i just wanted to give that tip to everyone.

P.S Before you change anything, make sure you get this plugins “Redirection”

    Take care!

    Jacklin Octave

  • guys i love this post! i have just started blogging and am encouraging my international team to do the same, and i am happy to have you in S.A.- i look forward to seeing more posts from you in FB about local marketing and more video blogs about the local market, thanks much.

    😉

  • Great video, I love your honesty.

You guys make a good combo. That is why you are
    so successful.

    Thanks for your wisdom

    To your Success
    Juan

  • It would be great if you recorded the trainings. I am always working when they are live and have to miss them. I would think your sales would explode even more if more people had access.

  • YOU TWO ARE SOOOO GREAT! Too Funny.

I feel like the move from Canada right now.

My electricity was turned off today; back on now – thank the electric company and my last $91.63 to my name – my blog – speaking of blogs was deleted…except for the files from over a month ago….I’m awaiting to hear if we can find these files. I host with GVO….I’m praying the tech guys can help.

In the meantime, I love this. Very funny. Am doing my hair right now to get on the video to create a new blog post.

there is no option for failure – I’m telling you! I have to work this out today….You two are wonderful thank you!!

  • Thanks for the tips Guys.

How do you create those videos?
Even though they are long they
    load pretty fast.
Could you give us some tips
on how to create great videos?

    Yes, I totally agree, blogging
is one of the keys on Internet
    businesses. We love them and
    video blogging is even better.

    Thanks a lot
    Keep that great info comming

  • Enjoyed the meeting last night regarding Blogs. Great info and fun team spirit!

  • Hello Joel,

Thanks for the update on blog..blog…blog..

I heard quite a lot about blogging and people make money from it too.
But what really are the secret to make money from blogging?

I hope you can give some examples

    Thanks again

  • Hello! Friends, I expect you to open up this fabulous market that is Brazil, with these tools, fantastic GVO, Big Hug!

    http://www.GGAMERCADOGLOBAL.com

  • The biggest problem I have is getting/having ‘continuous quality’ content! And I wonder about so called auto blogging – if it works?

    Thanks for the info guys.

  • Hate to tell you Joel but the definition of Insanity is: Doing the same thing day after day and EXPECTING a different result (not getting a different result). Gotcha! 🙂

  • Hi Guys,

I have been blogging for several months now and having your input has been very helpful as well as having some training through my Coach (Mark J) which all together has been the best thing that could have happened to me.

Looking forward to the launch of GVO Conferencing and Blog Builder too.

I still developing my Blog Presence, not had a comment yet. How about you being the first?

My next next project is finishing my site with all the GVO products featured showing what I use to build my Web Presence.

    All the best,

    PaulT

  • I don’t quite understand how I sell to the local market with GVO.
You say “charge $25, $40 whatever you like”, but GVO costs more than that for a customer. Or do I set up a customer under my GVO account? But then how do they do their own EVP, etc?
I guess I’m being dumb, but I don’t see the model here.
    Please help.

  • Consistency is the key to any business. I agree that video is the key

  • Full credit to you Joel, for knocking on those doors… Good blog post today.
Your comments on cash flow rang true!
    Looking forward to blogger builder.

  • すみません、英語で言われても何がなんだかさっぱりわかりません。
PLEASE WRITE IN JAPANESE TO ME!! I CAN’T RECOGNIZE THEM!!

  • Hey there Joel & MikeyP,

We sure appreciate the honesty and integrity of this company. You guys are tops when it comes to keeping your members informed.

Trust goes a long way in this industry and it’s easy to lose.

Way to go at keeping the trust alive at all times.

The future gets brighter every single day thanks to GVO and the new GVO Conference.

It’s an honour to be part of this great company.

    Make it a great day!

  • Being from Ottawa, Canada across the river from where Joel started, I can relate easily to what he says.No doubt the local market is years behind in marketing their business with websites and social networks and blogs.
    Keep it up guys!

  • Joel and Mike,

As usual, a great post. I really appreciated the tip on how to attract local Web hosting business. I’m looking forward to the official pre-launch of GVO Conference (when do we get our pre-launch signup page?) and the launch of the blog builder.

    Brenda

  • As far as the “know, like, and trust” part of your blogs, you’ve got it down. I am very comfortable and confident referring any of my prospects to the GVO business and your blogs.
I am relatively new with you and missed part of what you were saying about local businesses. Great idea, but not sure how I would charge someone on a monthly basis versus them becoming a GVO customer. Is that part of the new blogging program you will introduced in the future?
Sounds like a great idea, just not sure how to impliment it with what I know right now.

  • Your video was super. I learned a lot from it and I have spend some time looking at your website also.

  • Hi Guys,

Awesome blog post…I’m looking forward to GVO C and I am equally excited about the blogger builder to take to my local market. It’s a perfect fit for quick cash flow. Thanks for everything you do for us!

    All the best,
    Ernie Pitochelli

  • Wow Joel and Mike
You gave me some fantastic ideas I never thought of before. I will go out and offer to do web pages for local businesses. That is a source of revenue that is basically untapped.
If you have any suggestions on how to do it or get it started from your vast experiences I welcome the advice.
Thanks for putting together an awesome company and allowing me to be a part of it

  • Good Blogging and Business building tips from Joel and Mike .

On blogging for profits – we can market for blog building business which is a website simplified using Blogger Builder. Blogger Builder makes building and updating a blog site really easy and practically anyone with some basic computer skill can do it.

On the business side – We can charge a fee for hosting the blog site with our GVO Titanium hosting account.

    GVO Rocks …

  • Great post as always. I would love to see information about uploading plr products to your blog for list building services, but I guess we can go to GVOAcademy for that and I know Janet has a video on it. For some reason I haven’t gotten that licked yet. Have a great weekend gents.

  • Another great video blog. Maintaining 400 websites while you were in Canada starting the biz sounds daunting. How did you manage to do that many? Were they all static sites, or did you add articles and videos to them every week for your clients? Did you have staff at that time? (I know back in the dark ages VA’s weren’t as prevalent– now I imagine we can get them cheap enough to help manage blogs, landing pages and static company sites.)

I can see it working out if there is a system in place to quickly train the local site owners how to blog themselves, but if the content is maintained by the person hosting the websites then it will escalate quickly into a job that one or two people cannot handle alone, and then you’re into managing staff or VAs, which some people will like and are good at, but others may want to avoid.

It’s a lucrative and huge untapped market for sure, but people do need to plan it carefully so they know how much they can offer and still maintain great quality control.

  • hey guys, looking forward to launch day. nothing to stop you now. maybe
i`ll be able to join your site next year. ok you keep on hitting home
    runs, talk soon charles d

  • Hi Joel,

Many thanks for the tips and resources that you have shared.

The tips will help me focus my attention of giving value and helping my network of customers improve their business.

I hope to share some other resources with your groups to help them improve their education using videos as tutorials.

  • Great info guys! I am already doing some marketing in my local market with seo, adding video and audio to sites, article marketing for businesses, etc. I look forward to learning more about the blog building for local markets.

  • Thank you for highlighting the importance of Blogging where I will spend my time from now on. You are making it so easy for us… Richard

  • This blog post should not have been watched at 1115 on a Sunday Night!

This was far and away the best post I have seen for firing me up. Mark my words I will make 6 figures on the local market in the next 6 months.

Please shave my head if I don’t achieve this!

Do you think you can VLOG about the different types of INternet Marketers ie Affiliate, Network, MLM, Guru etc?

I would love your takes on this.

  • This has to be the best business blog in the web hosting industry. Great information and even some great training thrown in. Thank you.

Now, where the heck is Sniper Host?

  • Oh, almost forgot, can’t wait to see GVO Conference. I’d like to do some local marketing too. Thanks again for all the great content.

  • Dear friends:
Just take a look to our extensive work. We post in more than 40 blogs almost once a day. Our Phisics blog is now around 300/400 visits a day, and several other blogs are around 80/100 visits a day.
But we are not earning a consistent profit from that hard work.
Can you help us with a couple of ideas?
We are in Esquel and you surely remember our problems with vulcanoes and snows. Now we are better than in those days but we must be better indeed.
    Thanks for help.
    Olga y Daniel
PD: Fernanda Estrada knows us very well. Ask her about us and lets reestablish a nice relationship we had with you a couple of years ago.

  • Thanks guys for the timely video. My little voice in my head was bringing me down today. I listened to your video and immediately touched base with a potential client for a blog. Now I am moving forward. I have been doing the offline thing for a while.

My new project/product is a newsletter for offline consultants. It was going slow now I have been inspired to “geter done”.

Thanks for the boost and have a great day.

  • Just got fantastic training, tips and heaps more from your GVO Academy….actually took a day off and it was well worth it. Can’t wait to meet you all next year.

  • Joel and Mikey, thank you both so much for sharing the information on how to have a successful online business. The current Web Conferencing system is fantastic and the new additions in GVO Conference are incredible. Looking forward to more information on Blogger Builder – did I hear Landscaping has a theme?

Also just a quick note of appreciation to all the dedicated GVO Academy instructors. It is so amazing to have online training from people with their own profitable businesses as part of the GVO package.

So great to see not only how to setup a blog, but which plugins to add improve interaction and encourage comments and improve ones Alexa rating. And grateful to have the PDF handout with the plugins listed. Mark Call kudos as usual for breaking the information down into byte size bits. Ken Hammond appreciate the example of how to better utilize ones blog/website by obtaining contact information and following up with visitors.

Jerry Mindset Meyers, in addition to interviewing amazing people, the “thoughts become things” and “definite burning desire” classes are priceless! Also many thanks for all the great PDFs.

Janet Legere always appreciate all the practical examples from your trainings. GVO Conference prelaunch page is super example of hands on training.

Gerry Schroeder’s Leadership training – not sure how you managed to boil down such a wealth of information into 12 classes – starting with the power of the subconscious mind. Looking forward to the recordings as this will be an on-going learning process.

Keith Carberry so many gems of wisdom – I learn something new everytime and only wish I could make it to more of your live calls. My favorite remains – How to get more NPM.

Kudos to Josh Andrus for “Five Questions for finding a Mentor” – great examples and items to consider in the process of working and learning from someone. Just a recent example!

Deb Lane and Stephanie Remers – appreciate the information on Social Proof, Testimonials and hearing the secret that you have not both always just loved being on camera. You both make it look easy and as if you do love being on camera!

OK ~ so much for a quick note ~ a HUGE shout out for GVO Academy!

  • Wow wow wow wow, AWESOME tips, I hope this will be archived permanently so I can continue to watch it. See you ALL in San Antonio.
