Change in our bonus pool commission payout time.

Hi Everyone,

I hope this video makes perfect sense. If it does not please post your questions here on the blog.

Why is there always that 1% of people who try to cheat the system and take hard earned commissions out of the pockets of honest people? Anyway the good news is we caught it and we are changing our bonus pool policy right now.

  • Thanks for this update Joel.

It’s so sad that people have to go out of their way to take advantage of systems, it’s what gives MLM a bad name and causes you, the business owner, a headache.

I’m perfectly OK with this change and happy to see you put this in place.

Let’s work together to keep the integrity of GVO in place!

For those out there abusing the system … stop it! It benefits no one, not even you!

Thanks again Joel, for keeping a clean house 🙂

  • Glad you figured this out.

There are ALWAYS shady people trying to game the system in everything that is done online just to make a quick buck.

  • Hi Joel

I agree that you are right in changing the date of bonus payouts and you should also as you mentioned changed the commission payout date.

This will stop the cheaters and make the business better.

Hurry up and give us the prelaunch / launch date for the conference program and the price.

    Richard

  • Right on Joel! It makes sense to me.

It is too bad that there are always those who can’t play by the rules and spoil it for every one else.

    Keep the good work.

  • Great decision

    Beatrice

  • Hi Joel,

Please, i don’t understand english, and think this notice is important, you can give explanations in Spanish? ^^

    Thanks!!

  • Hi Joel,
you have made good business decision.

I don’t mind waiting a couple of months to get my legitimate share of the bonus pool.

    All the best,
    Anders

  • Scammers did the same thing with my primary business and it hurt our owners because our company pays out commissions by the 5th day of the month. There has always been a few bad apples and we trust you will take the appropriate actions to remove the problem. Great service we have to offer to the business world. Proud to be a GVO affiliate and reseller.

  • portuguese..please

  • It is sad there is always somebody that has to cheat the system. I hope the offending member(s) have had their accounts removed. They do not deserve to be a part of this great program.

    Steven Wagstaff

  • Yeh, it seems there just has to be a few buttheads in every crowd. Good job Joel for paying attention and catching these bastards! Are you kicking them out of the program?

  • Podrían publicar esta información en español?
    Muchas gracias.
    Luis.

  • Joel

I agree, although as you know…..I feel it should be 60 days before bonus pools are paid out. 2 months of real customer re-orders will deter this kind of activity. Most Network Marketing companies use the 2 month or even 3 month policy to eliminate this issue.

Lets keep GVO safe and for the long haul bud. I am with you!

  • Не понимаю,нужен русский язык!

  • It’s OK. Every system has its “holes”. And when another one pops up it is necessary to fix it up.

  • Way to go Joel

Although I don’t qualify for bonuses I totally agree.

I have had people scam before in my programs, and it isn’t nice
at all, but I am glad you keep a clean house. It gives us more
    confidence and GVO true credibility.

    Ian

  • These people make me sick!

I hope you are going to remove their accounts.

  • Hi Joel,

I agree with all the comments so far and I’d like to ask a question on another subject. Are you working on a mobile marketing platform that would enable us to format either email templates or mobile websites for cell phones. A lot of buzz out there about this subject.

    Thanks so much,
    Al

  • struth there is always one muppet the screws it up for the majority. Name and Shame the Merchant Banker.

  • Joel, this is why GVO/Kiosk will be around when all the others are gone. We have you who really care about your business and our businesses. Thanks for having the courage to do this for those of us who are really working!

    Vikki

  • Scammers! I have no problem with this! Perhaps this will make the problem go away!

  • Having founded an MLM 12 years ago and seeing what even ‘good people’ will do if they get money signs in their eyes, I think what you are doing is perfectly acceptable if you are going to remain in business and keep quality affiliates.

You may want to consider adding representative terms to your program that address this sort of fraud and see that they know they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This helped a great deal when we faced it. You might also consider setting up a network marketing rep and affiliate black list domain that can be circulated and available to other MLM companies with the names of those who were prosecuted.

Hmmmm we could hire Ninjas… LOL 🙂

  • Joel

Thanks for being the legitimate businessman you are and watching out for all of us. That is why I have been here for so long and continue to stay!

    Vikki

  • Hey there Joel!

I have no problem with this change either.
My guess is that the only ones that will not
like this change are the scammers. So I hope
this really stings on them now.

Thanks for doing your best to protect us that use
    the system ethically.

    Take good care!

  • I feel TRANSLATION.
    MANY so can not tell.
    BUT, THANK YOU

  • Hi Joel!

I completely agree with this change, it’s a very fair solution to prevent scammers from taking advantage from the system.

    Thanks for everything you do!
    Maria

  • Hi Joel,

    Your actions are totally justified.

It is so sad that people that feel they can take advantage of the system even exist … but they do.

Thanks for your integrity and being so up front with us all.

    Warmest regards,

    Judy

  • Great Joel! Whatever you decide, I know it will be the right decision. I hate to hear that there is a small group of people scamming the system. I don’t know how they sleep at night.

  • Thanks for your integrity Joel. What goes around, comes around and they will get their just deserts. Hope you kicked some BUTT!!!!

  • I don’t see any other way around the situation. It is amazing how there is always 1 or 2 people that ruin things for others who build it right and fair. The ones that play unfair and cheat the system will pay for their actions at some point!

I appreciate everything you do Joel.

    Michael Pilcher

  • Good move.

After ‘tightening up’ the system – suggested ‘next steps’:

    1. Write a warning to the people you suspect of having taken advantage of the system.
    2. Incorporate that warning as a standard for all – publish it for all to see
    3. Thereafter, simply DROP (and block) anyone who makes any such attempts

Keep up the good work, GG

  • Just a thought….. “Wouldn’t it be a LOT easier and fairer to those who really deserve the commissions to NOT show the leader board until after the end of the month?”

  • Way to go Joel. It’s sad people do things like that
but I like the fact your honest and up front with us.

You and The Crew and GVO are all awesome

    Susan Boston

  • Joel

Your actions are totally justified.Always someone that spoils the fun for the other. Have to say is it worth having the people in your business ?

    All the very best

  • It never fails, someone will always find a way to cheat the system. I think the lag is smart, but it should have been implemented from the beginning. When you plan to go big, like GVO has, you can count on the fact that someone is going to come after you and expose any vulnerability. Nonetheless, you’ve got a great set up here Joel, do what you have to do man, our team is with you all the way!

    Cheers!

    Rex Harris

  • Thank you Joel for making a very wise business decision. Honest people will not mind waiting the extra time to earn their bonus.

Karma is a b#%#* and I’m a firm believer in what goes around comes around.

Thanks for keeping GVO above board. Just one more reason I am proud to be part of this company!

    Deb Lane

  • Hy Joel, Bravo clap clap

Thank you for being who you are upfront and in control
and yes they who game the system should be thrown out.

    Vince

  • Ethics is a real problem in the world today! I see it every where – most visibly in the politicle arena. It is all about one thing – money!

Joel, you do what you have to do to remove the weeds!

    Thanks for the update.

  • soy nuevo acá y aun no se como esto funciona pero pienso que cualquier cambio que se haga por la seguridad de los demas lo apruebo.

  • I knew when I joined this Team….This Company was honest and would take care of all the members…It’s sad to say there’s scammers in all businesses, online or offline. I am glad you caught the dishonest person or persons.
    Great Job
    Jeanette

  • Thanks for being “hawkeyed” and watching your business and ‘ours’ too. This is a good lesson for those of us who are absolute newbies about keeping track of the business and how easy and simple it is to be ripped off.

  • Joel, I applaud you for having the presence of mind to speak out and, what’s better, actually change the system as a result! It is difficult to believe that this kind of activity goes on when we are all trying to accomplish the same goals. If the change will head off the “fraud” that is apparently going on then I don’t many folks will object to the new structure…I sure don’t! Keep up the good work guys and thanks for keeping everyone H O N E S T !

  • Great Move Joel!

There always seems to be those who see $$$ signs and mess it up for the rest who operate in an honest and ethical manner. I’m sure if you asked for a vote, it would most likely be unamimous to eliminate the bad apples. If they are unethical in one thing, chances are they are unethical in other ways as well. GVO doesn’t need bad apples giving us a bad rep.

    Greg Lohr

  • good deal Joel. Honest people don’t mind waiting.

  • Joel…
Well done!!…Unfortunately there are some that will abuse a system. Glad you had the insight and knowledge to know what to look for and I certainly hope those involved know their little scam is up….What a great company and great leadership all around. Cheryl and I feel blessed to be a part of this…

    BETTER DAYS ARE COMING!!

  • Duh? You’re just now figuring this out? These “smart” fraudsters have been gaming the system since the beginning. Hello!

    Hi Dick

Ill leave your comment as is, and no I’m not stupid, I just like the believe the good in people before the bad.

    Joel

  • Hi Joel,
Personally I think you’re doing a right thing to stop all these people trying to fraud the system. I’ve no problem for the change. GVO is a long term business for me and for every member of GVO, and should not tried to manipulate the system. GVO’s product has a huge potential market for everyone.

  • I have to agree with the majority of the comments above. After all, it is a bonus. Being paid quarterly or even yearly is not uncommon when it comes to a bonus.

As soon as you started explaining what is going on, one name came to mind. Back when you gave your car away, I did some research on the leaders at the time, just for curiosity’s sake.

Now, I didn’t find anything bad about this person, but looking back, I seen a couple of comments at the time that made me go “Hmmmmm……?”

I have always appreciated your openness on problems, clear back to when some back hoe in Canada accidentally dug into some lines, and created the majority of us to go offline for quite some time. You personally kept us updated all day long.

Thank you for everything you do,

    Mona

  • Puede alguien explicar de que se trata en español?
    Muchas gracias

  • This was a big problem for me when I was trying to create an equitable distribution system for an mlm system I was developing a couple of years ago. Good to see you are on top of things.

  • It is good to hear that you are on top of things, Joe;. In this industry there are always the few who refuse to do what is right. That is why they always have to do wrong. Learn to do the right thing in the beginning and you will reap the benefits.

Being on top is hard work, staying on top is even harder.

  • Hope you catch the A-H, Hope you have a better day joel

  • Hi Joel,
Glad you caught it. You are doing the right thing, it is fair for all legit members.

  • Right On, Joel!

  • Considering those of us who are taking this GVO business serious , this is a small price to pay for ensuring our long term success.

Thanks a lot for jumping on this with a solution so fast.

Glad you made the change so we all keep faith in the system.

    Much appreciated.

    Greg

  • Thats totally understandable. I mean you gotta do what’s best for you and your affiliates that a working their butts of. It’s sad to hear that there are some rotten apples that spoil the fun for others.

    Have an great day

  • Thankyou for pointing that “Challenge” out Joel. I am in the process of training my team and will possibly start a process of “mass” joinings on the 2nd Day of the month in Australia. That will ensure that our new people come in around the first day of the month and renewals will also be the around the first day of the month. This will make for a smoother process for our team and working with mulitple businesses and our team knowing when to expect their multiple “auto” responders to occurr.

    Have a Fabulous Day

  • Hi Joel,
Well done for acting fast to plug off this loophole!!..thus ensuring
    fair play for everybody:D
    To everybody success.Mike

  • Wow! Sorry to read about such a scam but great solution!

As always appreciate the solid principles that form the foundation for GVO.

    All the best,

    Vicki

  • Makes sense Joel, no problem! Legimate clients are the only way forward in my book. Enought people want to have and use gvo products and services, that scamming the system just sounds like too much hard work!

  • This video absolutely makes sense. Some people are struggling hard to do this honestly & ethically. It is not fair for someone to cheat the system. Thanks for sharing with us Joel.

  • Joel –

I applaud you for this! People who are gaming the system are literally stealing from those who legitimately earn their way into the pool as well” as GVO Corporate. As it is with most “guidelines and rules” of this sort … they are their for the small minority of people who given the chance will try to cheat a system for selfish gain… too bad!

I know the great majority of people at GVO are honest serious minded entrepreneurs here for the long run, so this although a bit inconvenient in no way diminishes the value derived at GVO.

Thank you for your leadership and for being transparent!

    James Holmes

  • Cruel reality outside there.

I wished Joel could even be more drastical with the regulations.

Joel, do You know who & what really is the true WINNER beside GVO?

Well, it’s: You, yes you Joel Therien and his honesty :))

    It’s good to know that.

    Happy weekend,
    Marius

  • Why to go Joel for being proactive and doing what you can to stop the fraud. It is truly unfortunate that people feel the need to cheat the system. I believe what you have done will help those that are here for the long haul.

  • Hi Joel,
Sorry to hear about such a scam taking place in the opportunity. Glad to know that you found out and was able to do something about it. Keep up the good work.

Once again great to know that you were able to spot it and correct it.

    Kelvin

  • Hi Joel,
you are doing the right decission. Shame on all those guys using this kinda bad tricks. As I always say, the internet is a world full of fraud and scam. You have not only to protect yourself, NO, you have to protect ALL of us.
    Take care, Peter

  • Being only 4 months old with this company I guess I was Wasn’t aware there are that kind of people out there in GVO. This is so sad that we have to use so much discernment with enjoying our experience with relationshipping. To me that causes me fear and hesitation which inevitabley slows down the growth in all of us. I absotutely Love The Products, Academy Training, and My fast learning of Network Marketing here. Maybe you should create a Security Team Arbitration Board and have them track this malicious activity and bring the persons forward on the hot seat. Then, if the Board adjudicates the person guilty, he or she or groups should be Made known. Kinda like the Post Office when posting most wanted. This will make us aware of the con men or women. If I was in your position I would do the same thing you have done. Please GVO members do some soul searching we are trying to build reputable business here, Maybe the people should leave and go to Host gator and use the other third party tools and leave before you are EXPOSED! I love this Company and it Appauls me to Think that we maybe operating and associating with wolves in sheeps clothing amoung us. Who Can you trust anymore?

  • It’s ok for the honest ones amongst us. What has to be done has to be done.

In the long run you just have to feel sorry for the kind of people that think dishonesty is the way forward in life.

  • Well done Joel. Hope you had seen this 6 months ago.
100% behind you. Send Mike to beat these guys up!!!

    Don

  • Hi Joel
You are do ing the right thing you are the best.

  • You are to be commended for stopping this fraud and protecting the opportunity for those of us that are here for the long haul.

  • Hi Joel,

Can’t wait for next Tuesday show on blog building!

  • If only those fraudsters would put as much energy into thinking up legitimate products as they do scams, the world would be a much better place.

Well done for spotting the problem, taking action AND keeping everyone informed.

That’s why GVO is so great.

    Jean

  • Take action Tuesday was really great and Mark did an awesome job. I look forward to next week’s class. Thanks for providing us such awesome instructors and mentors.
