  • Hi guys! Great to see you back in front of the camera again. I still say you’re having too much fun!

2012 is going to be a banner year – with so many different factors are converging; The economy is driving millions of people to look for alternative methods of income production, along with advances in technology (of which GVO is definitely on the forefront), and the general adoption of social networks like Facebook by nearly the entire online population, we are all extremely well-positioned to capitalize on all of this while being able to provide people with cost-effective solutions no matter what kind of business they may choose to adopt.

Of course a new year typically prompts most people to review the past year and commit to changing things that need changing. I trust that’s the message in your post today, and so I’d like to propose one change that could benefit everyone, and to ask one question.

The change I propose is that I’d like to request that you post recordings of the Saturday GVO Academy webcasts for those of us who are unable to attend the live Saturday webcasts. I happen to be a member of that group, and I’ve found myself struggling to figure out just exactly how to implement everything I need to implement in order to keep up with those who ARE able to attend the webcasts. I’m not asking you to disclose any company secrets – at least not anything that attendees to the Saturday meetings aren’t shown/told about.

I’ve submitted a support ticket containing this request (along with a couple of other minor issues which I’m certain will be quickly resolved if history is any indication – GVO’s support is amongst the very BEST in the industry as far as I’m concerned).

The question I have is this: I’m already a paid 50-seat conference member, but with the advent of MeetCheap it doesn’t make sense for me to continue to keep the 50-seat room when I can get a 100-seat room for just one additional dollar per month – PLUS have the ability to promote the $20/year MeetCheap option to the public at large.

I eagerly look forward to your reply,

  • Hi Guys,

Happy New Year 2012! Best wishes for GVO and your affiliates to continue to grow, prosper, and profit into the new year.

I’m super glad to hear you guys are looking into changing the compensation plan for affiliates who have a large active/paid direct downline. In the video, you mentioned that “it goes across the board for GVOConference, MeetCheap, HostThenProfit, etc.”

Is this only for the 200% commission for every 5 sales that upgrade each week? Or is this also valid for the $500/month extra for every 100 paid active members you have in your direct downline? More specifically, in talking to GVO support, it sounds like the $500/month per 100 active members is not available for GVOConference.com Do you guys have a timeline to implement this for GVOConference.com too?

Over the past 6 months, I’ve worked hard to stay in the top of the leaderboard, but I’m really only breaking even with respect to profits. I’m hoping that if I grow my downline large enough, I’ll eventually turn a profit on the 10% recurring payout. That’s where it gets difficult… i.e. 10% recurring on $8.97 (89 cents per customer per month). 🙂

So anyway, your new $500 extra per month plan is awesome and gives your affiliates a big incentive to continually grow their downline and have the opportunity to turn a decent profit. I just hope you guys also take care of your GVOConference affiliates and consider implementing a similar compensation strategy for them as well.

Thanks for your consideration and best of luck to everyone in 2012!

    Derek
