I really need your advice please!

Hi Everyone

I just wanted to let you know that on today’s blog your feedback and advice is going to be very important and valuable for all of us!

You see..

We are very confident in the products we offer, and yes we will continue to add features ALWAYS..

but..

What about the newbie, the person that logs into GVO and well..

doesn’t know

what web hosting is
what an auto responder is
etc..

If they do not understand what they do then these folks will never come to appreciate the true VALUE that GVO has to offer!

The ones how know our value can not believe what we offer for such a LOW monthly price..

The ones who do not know, say “Why am I spending money again?”

When the reality is they could be making money VERY quickly with the right guidance and education.

Yes there is GVOacademy but I want to hear from you please what you feel we can add to the GVO members area to help the newbie internet MLMer or Internet Marketer
become seasoned much quicker!

Please give us your constructive feedback on our blog on what we can do to help out the new MLMer or Internet Marketer generate that income even faster 😀

Here are sort of the type of comments I am looking for.

1. Joel, I would like to see more educational videos on..
2. I would like to see an easier web builder that makes blogs easy..
3.
Etc..

I need real ideas to help make our members area more educational and easier to use 😀

Thank you so much for your time, I appreciate your valued ideas and comments very much. Please post them here on the blog 😀

  • Hey Joel,

I’m really happy with GVO becuase of the great features you offer.
But as a newbie and not really expert in creating a website or programing it is verry difficult for me create my website thru GVO.

I have 3 domain name and really want to transfer it to GVO web hosting but I can’t. Becuase I need a easy site builder (not frontpage or dreamweaver) such as RVSITEBUILDER where I created all my website.

    You guys are Rock!

  • Hi Joel,
been a follower for several months and still not had a single sign up, where should we be advertising, should we be buying leads, what should I be doing right NOW!???

    Tim

  • 1. I’ve been advertising the splash pages with lots of hits but no signups.

    2. You ask we get a domain name for you to host but what am I to do with it? I’ve been through the videos … perhaps I just missed it.

    Thanks

  • Would like a white label version for resale… Any possibility? I have a captive niche that could benefit from this and a soon product launch in which it could be included or added.

    Thanks!

PS. Training videos demoing the product as the user would benefit, not just how it works. Give them real life examples of the “benefit”. How it would work for them.

Best wishes! Think you are onto something here! : )

  • I would like to see training videos on the use of the Web Host Manager and cPanel. CPanel training is available on the web as a separate product (first few lessons free; the more advanced stuff for paid members), but those brand new to web hosting and/or GVO may have missed those. Before you can market, you’ve got to get your site up and going (and all sites are not blogs and blogs hosted at GVO have cPanel).

I’ve been here for years and there are still many things about using the WHM and cPanel that I don’t understand.

    Thanks,
    Karen

  • Great video!

I would love to see a simple getting started guide that walks new members through step by step to setup their domains, install a wordpress blog and setup their eresponder.

    These I believe, are critical.

    Thanks for all you do,

  • Dear Joel Therien,
You know that I have followed your programme building since 2 years ago.
Now, I will speak from my heart as a Christian, on the followings:
You have built the best structured networking design. I believe if you
could do these things for those who wanted to be a part of life game with you.
    1. Let any newbie participate in your basic GVO programme on how it works for a period of FREE 3 months trial. And within these 3 months,
if it is proven to the newbie on its creditability & capacity to earn and able to pay the monthly subscription, then, everyone would say by the words of mouth to others and that’s it, millions would come in for the trial runs. Some will continue, some won’t, so what! , next, more will come in and join you for a life time.

    2. Teach your skills on how to check out any payment by the newbie and by its own monitoring of the account and what best international account creditable in real payout to the owner’s bank account.

    3. Until today, I join you in GVO programme, I do not know where to look for the system for monitoring of networks, payouts, what bank? and
how I could earn more to pay your GVO subscriptions.

    4. Now, If you could show us (newbie) to really earn the BIG money.
Teach us your heart and make us financially free.

  • Hey Joel, I would like to see more details on the autoresponder service. Like if you build a list of clients within gvo, can you export that list if you discontinue service, or do you lose the list.

How do you get started using the hosting service? (In non-techie speak) I sent a support ticket once to ask how to set up my account, but the response made my eyes glaze over. So I did nothing…

  • Joel;
Will I still be able to earn a income without a vidio and sound?
I have to get someone in that knows how to hook up my audio and vidio
on my computer?? Yes I am a newbie.

  • Hi ,joel my advice to a new bee is after you signup with all the add-ons ,
all I would like to have a yes and no list to see if Jim on the right track, so I don’t have to waste my time begging for soup ort from the sponcer . He made his commission . I love you vedios there great ,it the so called sponcers who are so pose to help the new bees,if you start off with the people search good and well, but lets get it down better after the three steps are done ! you did well on my signup so, its not why I

  • Years ago (many..), I had a DOS based office tools app called “The Smart Software System” – you know, the word processor, database, spreadsheet, communications, etc.
What I really liked was what they called “Confidence Levels” – As a new user you were offered one to start with and could always, of course, choose “Confidence Levels” to change it later.
So what did it do? Well, for example, the Word processor section’s menu only had really basic functions on it at “Level 1”, whereas at “Level 5” it included all the boilerplate, macro functions etc, etc. Every section had its own five “Confidence Levels.”
Did it limit one’s usage? No, because if you discovered you wanted to do something that didn’t seem to be there, you would soon begin exploring the other “Confidence Levels” settings to see if it could be activated.
What it did was keep the unused clutter out of the way, thus allowing work to be more efficient.
Another thing I think is important is to show a map. A graphical map shows what is available and how each function is linked and related to other functions. If the map is clickable, all the better.

  • more educational videos is always a good thing. my biggest thing is, how to get signups. i’ve tried articles, doing tweets and nothing yet. i’m trying to make a profit to cut the expense of the service so i’m not losing out on money. especially when living off of disability (low income). at least break even would be a plus for me.

  • Thanks for asking my advice. I am a hands on person, but right now I have a lot of information, but I do not know what to do with it. I need step by step information telling me what I need to do first, secon, third. I need to know if I need to have a website, domain name to be successful. Right now I am overwhelmed with information, but I do not know what to do with it. Please provide a step by step video showing newbies like me what I need to do step by step to be successful in this business. I am on the verge of giving up, but I know I can do this! Help!!!!!!!

  • Hi! there Joel it’s melvin here what can I do for you I’m still trying to make money on line rt now but can’t do because no body is calling me back and trying to figure out where to market and how to get people to sign on and I’ve been doing this for 2 months now so what am i doing wrong I have 2 home business networks going trying to make mola on line because I’m losing hrs at my full time job

  • Hi Joel and Mike,

Your request for ideas on how to make the members area more effective is so welcome! Because it happens to go hand in hand with my concern on “how the hell a newbie will make out any sense out of the number of menus and tools he/she’ll see on the inside?”.

We should have something effective to put a newbie’s worried mind at ease right from the get go. Here’s what i mean.

What i think you/we lack now is a comprehensive walk-through video which should be the first thing a newcomer see once taken to the members area.
Plus, a written guide in the fashion of “30-Day Blueprint To Online(MLM) Success with GVO”.
Right now, there are a bunch of videoson how to use the GVO tools and invitation to attend GVO Academy webinars. And i’m sure there should be something tangible like a blueprint that could put a newbie’s head straight right away. Something that would say : Here’s your armory man that can make you a millionaire. Here’s our big plan and all the steps.Feel kinda overwhelmed? Don’t be! Because here’s your Day 1 steps and you just don’t bother with everything else yet….Now,here’s your day 2….
    etc etc etc.

That way,a couple of potential threads could be prevented:
    – threat 1: a newcomer gets in,can’t make a sense and thinks “hey, this is just another MLM company that stuffed its back office with a bunch of stuff to make it look like they deliver, but how do i profit from it all? Seen it before, bye!”
    – threat 2: a newbie comes in,sees all the tools,a boat-load of videos and thinks “sh.t it’ll take me ages to get my head around this!”

Both scenarios lead to higher attrition rates and can be avoided we one walk-through video and one written blueprint-guide that says “You 30-Day Plan” which puts a newbies mind at ease.

    That’s my 5 cents.

Keep up the great work guys!
    Paul

  • Thank you Joel,

I’m from Malaysia. The main problem for people from Malaysia and other countries not stay with GVO because of the language and they not well versed in the internet marketing. To overcome these problems, I strongly suggest to you of the following:
    1. Add tools like series of videos that will guidance all members how to produce a good website and how to put the website in GVO web hosting. Also how to link the auto responder with that website.
    2. Reduce your fees :=)
The important thing when do business online is website, web hosting and responder. Correct me if I’m wrong. People outside can simply get these only USD20. GDI (USD10)+ Norabots(USD10). Video they can use Youtube for free.

Please help me Joel. I think I’m the only man who is promote GVO in Malaysia. My uplines also not promote GVO anymore.. You have to do something to people like me.

    Thank you for listening.

  • I have had a great experience using the submit a support ticket and using the live support via the conference room.

Yet I know that a live 24/7 phone line support system would be very welcome. I remember being a newbie years ago and as I was working on things, it went much smoother having a live one on one conversation via the phone.

You guys are rock solid … Thank You!

  • Joel I am a newbie in the process of growing. I joined GVO in October and have learned a tremendous amount since that time. I think GVO Academy is awesome. I would like to see the live sessions recorded. For example, Mark and Ken have taught us things using desktop sharing. However, I am too “dumb” or “slow” to grasp it all in the one time through. Being able to review the information in a recorded video would
    be extremely helpful.

Thanks for all the great things you and your team do for us.
    Theresa

  • Joel,

I would like to see more educational videos on: The first 5 steps to do to market the opportunity, and a separate track for IM first steps, getting a site up quickly.

I would like to see a training library from the weekly webinars, not everyone will be able to make the live posted times, but would love to step through them at their own pace.

Pre-made packages for suggesting sizes for own sites and reselling possibilities.

    Thanks,

  • I am new. only one month in GVO. I remember the frustration I experienced not knowing anything and trying to use GVO for the first time.

First, you are doing pretty good because it is not THAT hard. but, The only suggestion I have it to make videos like Chet makes them.

He speaks the right language and makes it easy to understand for beginners.

Also the opt in message. Totally confusing. Need better explanation for that. Also I can tell you as a begginer gets confused. They think things like the templates and forms are suppose to go in the email that is sent out.

It is not so much the education videos, but the content of the educational videos that needs to be a little better.

But not much better. They are ok as they are.

    Hope that helps.

  • I could use a few more incentives to give experienced marketers to switch. Most of my contact have been at it for awhile and have all the tools and are reluctant to take the time to switch even at lower monthly cost. What do you suggest we use to incentivize these folks (post-car contest)?

  • Hi Joel,

I would like to see more passive income videos.
    Thanks.

  • I know everyone is not the same but for me one of the most helpful things I have learned is to make a list of what I want to accomplish on a daily basis. If I do not the internet is very good at dragging me here, there and everywhere to the point of forgetting my starting point and my goals for the day. If I do not stay focused I fragment into zero accomplishment ^.^!

  • I was so sure when I joined I thought, GVO was going to set up the Auto responder and domain hosting for the member for $44.95. All we would have to do was promote, promote promote.
Why can’t you do this for the members. Take remote control of our computer for a an hour and bingo !!
A GDI site builder is so easy to set up. Why is GVO so complicated?
I have struggled for 7 months+ and waste a lot of time working with your support team who try their best but very difficult to help helpless people who are idiots on the computer but love promoting their business.
Hope it was easy as adding 1+4 = 5 to make sure this message goes !!!

    Hope you can still help.
    Cheers
    Don

  • As the saying goes, “Nice of you to ask”. We used to have a doctor, many years ago, that would ask, “What do you think is wrong?” – and he really wanted to know! We were shocked the first time as doctors are not known to be anything but the self-proclaiming “I know everything and you know nothing”. Being in the education business I am impressed by your honesty and wanting to know what your potential clients need to be successful and knowledgeable.

For a newbie (I hate that descriptive word with a passion – it should be apprentice), first and foremost, they need to know what the basics are in regards to web hosting, domain names, uploading, downloading, website creation and at least basic SEO. This is critical and should be considered as an apprenticeship course before even getting into the optional MLM aspect of the business (in my opinion, the most over-rated and deceptive business model … no slight intended, as GVO’s MLM structure is phenomenal, but just the words MLM scares many people away, so up-front education is required to eliminate the fear of that 3 letter acronym).

First create an apprenticeship course on the non-MLM aspects, complete with a GVO Apprentice certificate suitable for framing (download of course).

Then offer a second optional certificate course on marketing and MLM.

    * I am really looking forward to your product only offerings website system, as that is clearly a business opportunity all by itself.

And, clear the air about “Make a million online with our system”. Whenever I see that I delete the email right away – no need to even look at it any further.

Ethics, honesty and hard work. No, you are not going to make your immediate wealth 1 hour per day in your pajamas. Wake up and get dressed for work and then get to work like you are the toughest employer you have ever had! Did I mention “Ethics and Honesty”?

Never stop learning. A day gone by without learning something new is a wasted day.

And for those that say, “I’m not a newbie!!”, “It is what we learn after we know it all that counts.” John Wooden

Oh yes, stay away from free web hosting, stay away from next to nothing cost web hosting, focus on one thing at a time, don’t expect $1000 in your bank next week from work done today. A list is important, don’t buy your list, don’t spam your list – respect their privacy like you would want yours respected. Make friends with your list. Give them more than they expect. Surprise them. Use video – of yourself … no, you are not ugly or disappointing … up your self-esteem … brand yourself. Don’t lie or make up stories about your sales. Become an authority in something you know about. Self-confidence and self-esteem will create the perception of expert status and somebody who knows what they are talking about.

And, most important of all, as usually taught in MLM and Direct Marketing, “This may not be for you”. Honesty starts here!

    James

  • Ok Guys,
Create a video that shows newbies what each item is for, Why do we need a Hosting Acct? Why do we need an Autoresponder? Why do we need a Video Producer? and so forth. I know you already have all this info–but it’s scattered. Put them all under one section and lable it for the New AFFILIATE Marketer, not the MLM’r–the AFFILIATE Marketer. I’am not sure but I think there is probably a lot more affiliate marketers out their than mlm’rs. Shift your thinking just a bit to the Affiliate. Maybe even create a New Product “Newbie to Guru” have it funnel it’s way into GVO with some creative thinking. Put it on Clickbank and let the Affiliates promote it. Everybody out there is pushing Affiliate Marketing and tons of New Marketers are comming in every day, Clickbank gets bigger all the time. Go after the NEW AFFILIATE–your tools are needed by all of them. The MLM part is gravy-once their in…
Thanks You— That Not Passing Math page was Funny:)

  • Thank you Joel and Mikey P. You guys ROCK!

Great analogy. The new videos are going to be a true blessing to help people get started. I have personally found great value in them.

Would it be possible to get some prospecting pages/templates with the opportunity presentation, or overall information about GVO in the video spot? Perhaps just verbal discussion.

I am still coming across some streaming problems.

Thanks for all you are doing to make the GVO Opportunity the best out there.

    Warmest regards,
    Judy

  • Hello Joel and Co.,

I love that you all are trying to get the new-blood up to speed withe the veterans and I will not stop until I’m up there with the best. I was hoping that you could add some sound to the c-panel videos because I can’t really follow along with the tutorials the way that it is.

I know that the live training is great and all but what about some people who can’t make it during those times and are available opposite that the times that are listed. Would it be possible to have some training archived so that they can access it any time they want. Again I, know you have some tutorials posted on some materials but it’s not the same. Oh, well this all for now, I hope this can help.

  • Hello Mike and Joel, attraction marketing to promote people and products is big now, and as you know they work on the basis of a sale to fund new prospects and keep the sales funnel oiled… other products are hosting email auto responders tracking etc.

Gvo has all the ingredients needed for successful attraction marketing in place already! With a tweak to some evp templates…

If we pointed that out and said to other MLMer’s hey why pay $99 dollars a month or $47 dollars a month and then buy all the add on’s

Use the GVO attraction marketing tools and promote (their product here)
We would have a whole new relevant market to tackle.

Also yes you have lots of great video content, Why is it not sharable? That is unused content for hundreds if not thousands of blogs and GVO websites!

Last point When will you announce the winners of the 5 Tshirts from months ago!

  • I am still pretty unclear on the MLM opportunity of GVO. You guys have pretty much covered the fact in the video that you are working on it, but I figured I would throw my comments in there.

  • Hi Joel,

    My biggest frustrations:

    1. Support never seems to have any idea about anything related to marketing.
    2. I feel like the guy you talk about – the newbie who does not know what he has. But how do I get the education.
    3. I need to know more about “marketing online” especially your product.
    4. I went through start here first when I started, but I probably need to go through it all again.

    Best regards,

    Kent

  • Hi Guys

I noticed you have changed seats on the blog today.

What I would like to see is the GVO Acadamy sessions recorded and made available in the members area as their live timing does not suit me here in the UK.and I have not been able to log in for any of them.

    Richard

  • Hey Joel and Mike, The help videos have been a great help. I think that it would be cool to have some more help videos explaining how to go into WHM and set up new hosting account for the newbie. Maybe some references for HTML or word press templates would also helpful for some as well.

Keep up the great work guys You are almost building OUR business FOR us! by giving us all this great information. That must be why GVO continues to grow. Once we have a grasp on the steps and tools we can continue to create and build just as we were taught.

  • Hi Joel.
I would like to see more educational manual’s of the GVO system, you see some of us follow along better if we are reading rather than pause and do…
I have posted on numerous ad site and I have no signups, what about script writing manual for newbies with sample scripts, with your and your staff being more experienced in marketing I am sure that you could come up with things that newbies could grasps to bring in customers, sample letters that drew customers to your landing pages….
More time to test GVO, You certainly have a winner here, but from my perspective very little can be accomplished in 14 days, it should be more like 30 days…….In a 14 day trial it is more hustle and haste, than a more concised take my time and learn more about the system, one day at a time………

  • I agree with Phillip. I have been a newbie now for over a year and have found my way around most thing, basically by trial and error. My main stumbling block is when it comes to write stuff. I just dont know what to say in for the autoresponders e-mails. I am on several programs which I have got so far on, then stopped. Another problem is a lot of guys assume one has a certain level of knowledge ie Go write an article, about what? the weather. If its relevance. no help I know nothing! so have little to offer. So no article gets written. You guys say say go do a video, again about what? I do not like speaking in public so will I freeze?
I also agree with Desmond I rarely see any of your stuff due to the fact I live in England and it is difficult to stay awake at 2 in the morning. I did for the test sessions but not sure I learnt much.
This is getting to long so will sign off

    Brian Reed

  • Hey Joel & Mike and the crew
I Mr.Ron Jon here is so proud to be in business with such classy professionals that really get’er done. The training is the best I have ever seen for myself. So I guess am still not doing something right my system is up and running and has been for weeks but I have yet to net one member, you guys know without any front-end leads the back-end will suffer. I have set aside today for the purpose of one thing and one thing only. I will not rest before becoming a victim of total and complete exhaustion /or dehydration just short of rigormortis. I am scouting for targets online and all around my immediate areas. Pray for me!

  • Everything is all about the money. Yes the product is offer low monthly price but not all the newbie is want to use the product, what they just want is make money. If you want make GVO great reduce the price cause ATS now is just $19.95 per month and they just need refer 3 people and they get back all their money. Make GVO simple and affordable for everyone to join. GDI is just $10 per month and that is the reason why they still compete until now days. I think $30 is affordable for me but i don’t know others people mind.

  • Great Job today guys! YOU GUYS hit me right between the eyes this morning…. YOU were talking directly to ME in the video making section… that is where I am and need to have the learning curve behind me “been there, done that, got the GVO T Shirt!!!” (well, not really but would like one, it would make a GREAT GVO Academy walk-away slogan…. what do you think?
This is not my complete quest, I need to know how to have my screen on display while doing a video and go back and forth (or not) from looking at what ever I have on my screen and have that yellow pen and/or cursor floating around so my customers/viewers can follow them and me as I teach/ pitch/ whatever I am doing.
Joel, I followed your Sokule directions to load GVO ad on my Sokule site, I would like to know how you feel about offering http://affiliate.sqipcom.com/user/RsqRAir4All to those individuals who would like a more interactive personal approach to being in a room like Skype (but with more features). Its is very new, but appears to have what it takes to bring our GVO members into a private area to learn , load videos, and trade/teach business savvy.
Hope you and Mikey and GVO enjoy my comments.

  • Joel & Mike,

There are a lot of great training videos on GVO for each tool, but I would like to see some training on how to put it all togeather, step by step. For us beginners, what is MLM all about and how do we make the best use of it? GVO has lots of great stuff for those who have a list, but what about us who don’t have a list nor know how to build a list, with little to no money needed for advertising. The video stopped, so I didn’t get to hear the entire analogy of the operating room, but I really relate to what I heard with all the good tools, but how do I use them?

It’s really great to know you haven’t forgotten about us newbies!

    Thanks,

    Preston

  • I had to stand aside as the GVO juggernaught trundled past because I do not have a credit card. I’m sure that with the extra push from GVO I would have been able to earn the monthly membership fee but, call me prejudiced and stupid if you want, I thought this was a service to buy – not another MLM operation. I fully expected to be able to pay with PayPal.

I’m not sure that many newbies who have been the MLM route and got burned will stick the course for long if they see that they are expected to make more by selling the system than by using and learning from it.

  • Hey guys, I’m sure it’s been mentioned but a video and accompanying PDF beginners guide would help people a lot. Just something that walks a beginner through the steps of setting up a domain with a wp blog and eresponder form. By encouraging newbies to actually use the hosting and everything else available it will become easier to retain customers.

The existing videos are good but nothing really shows a total beginner how to tie all the features of GVO together into a complete web based business.

You guys keep making things better and that’s why GVO rocks.

  • Hi Joel, Mike and all

I’m not a newbie by any stretch of the imagination and I can see many of the benefits of what you are creating here. The problem as I see it is that for a newbie to be honest… it’s too much!

To make things worse of course there are so many levels of ‘newbie’ making it impossible to cater for everyone.

I have a team of over 200,000 people in another network so I understand networking too, I understand what makes some people do it, what makes some succeed and what makes some fail, but I certainly do not have ALL of the answers.

Normally you will not catch me posting in a forum of any kind (I like to be anonymous) but I was prompted today to join in because I had been having this very discussion about GVO with a colleague earlier today. We both agreed its a great product and I was discussing with him what I thought was the problem and it’s this….

“You created a product that is everything to everyone and as a result you are nothing to anyone”

Does that make sense? I’m not trying to be rude. My point is there is so much “STUFF” that it’s impossible to explain and daunting to a newbie. It’s even a little daunting to an old hack like me thats been working and earning my living full time on the web for over 10 years now.

The best example I can give you is your product EasyWebVideo which is within GVO. For anyone who has not seen easywebvideo.com then I’m not sure it makes a lot of sense inside GVO. The fisrt 3 questions anyone (newbies included) will ask about ANY product is

    1. Whats it for?
    2. What purpose does it serve?
    3. How do I use it?

If those 3 questions cannot be answered in less than 3 minutes then we’re done for:-(

To me what you see on http://www.easywebvideo.com in the video is a perfect example of a product explanation that answers those 3 questions perfectly, but EasyWebVideo within GVO looks like a TOTALLY different product. I must confess I’ve not used it inside GVO but is it a different product? To me the version inside GVO looks like a place where we just share videos with each other (which is pointless) rather than the easywebvideo.com version?

Anyway, hope that helps and feel free to email or call me if you’d like more feedback off the forum.

  • When I talk to people about Web Hosting lots of them need website design services. Do you have in house web design team that we can recommend.

  • Dear GVO Community,

I often think of the WWW as a giant phone book with Google as the main directory. And I consider what is my plan, what am I offering, what type of advertisement do I need?

Affiliate marketing offers a range of opportunities which do not necessarily require a website however I think having a website, if only to showcase affiliate items and blog about them is necessary to make the most of the www opportunities. My inner circle however still rely on Face book, MySpace, Linked IN and other social media which meets their current needs.

So perhaps the first place a NEWBIE could start is with the GVO checklist.

1 – I have or want to create a business.
2 – I am only interested in Affiliate Marketing.
3 – My BFF told me this was an awesome opportunity and to get in early so I signed up.
4 – I would like to research and test this opportunity where do I start?

Based on the response the New Member could be taken to a more tailored quick start.

The GVO Community and KLT is amazing and a number of us in the baby boomer generation are now seeking additional streams of income but at a loss for how to put all the pieces together.

In the phone book example I do look for the name of the plumber who I “KLT” or who was referred by someone I “KLT”. I think of my website as my ad and wonder how will people find my ad?

The Chet Hasting trainings provide so much practical information and are recorded. Is possible to have those trainings indexed and placed in the GVO Academy library or somewhere people can be directed and access 24/7? His videos demonstrate using keyword tools to find your niche, or best affiliate marketing items, how to use the WHM, main Cpanel uses, how to setup WordPress, how to create an affiliate blog and so much more!

All the instructors are great and it is an on-going learning process. I started with most of the Joel Therien how-to videos. Also greatly appreciate the Basic trainings Mark Call and Ken Hammond have created which show step by step how to use the WHM and Cpanel and all the other amazing GVO tools! And kudos to all the presenters of Live trainings, it is a bit overwhelming.

    So much for being brief!

    All the best,

    Vicki

  • Joel,

Your educational videos are excellent and very helpful, but I’d really appreciate if you add transcripts, the same as you did on Thirty Day Challenge. There are a lot of people like me that do not speak English as a mother tongue, so I never catch everything that you say (no translations needed, transcripts will do). Also, if you would let us download your videos to see on other devices, not only on iPhone. I have a Nokia 5800 Express Music, downloaded your 30DC videos with iTunes as you stated, but I cannot play them back on my cell phone. I think they can be played on iphones, but not on my cell phone

    Thank you very much,
    Marco

  • Two quick ideas:

    1. Simplify the user interface of GVO member website (http://username.gogvo.com) to make it less overwhelming for our newbie’s.

    2. Create a GVO Certified Internet Marketing Trainer Program. GVO will need 100’s and ultimately 1000’s of Internet Marketing EXPERTS to support and maintain the growth of GVO. Our newbie’s are predominantly part-timer’s. They need support from an EXPERT within the first 24-48 hours of joining GVO. A person’s UPLINE is also probably a part-time newbie. Experienced UPLINE are not always available. Certified GVO Trainers would be able to support anyone in GVO who required assistance. Newbie’s could purchase a bundle of training hours or sign-up for a monthly training subscription that could be discontinued at any point in the future. All fees generated from the Certification Program and the training fees would become part of the GVO comp plan.

  • Hi Joel,

I have been following all te tutorial videos and even participated one of your live webminars. However due to my hectic times in the real world, I didn’t really fully understand from A to Z all the GVO systems. I have already done the campaigns, messages (e-responders) and have tested it all. So far all the links in my campaigns seem in place. The only problem is, until now, no one has signed up to any of my campaigns.

I am looking forward to see and experience the more effective ways to magnetize visitors that may eventually turn them as paid members of GVO.

    Thanks.

  • Joel and Mike,

The videos at our GoGVO marketing website
are more appropriate for the backoffice.

They are more of a step 2 on how to set up
your system (i.e. eresponder, etc.) and NOT
    an intro the products.

What’s missing at the GoGVO website is a short
video for each product showing HOW it’s used.

A Camstasia video showing the product in use
along with testimonials from people telling how
they use it in their lives and businesses would
    be great.

The marketing videos don’t need to show
people how to set it up. That should be put
    in the backoffice.

Show people the sizzle of the product, not
how it is made. When people can see how the
product is used, they can better relate to it
and will better understand the value of the
    product.

  • Hello Joel

My advice is that they should have a GVO in Spanish and see how the expansion of the market.

    Best regards.

  • Hi Joel and Mike,

Great questions! I have thought about that as soon as I started learning about something called Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I soon found everyone was willing to teach me… but at a price. Unfortunately, most newbies do not have a lot of money to throw around so it left us out in the dark.

So what I decided to do was create a blog http://www.ideas-workfromhome.com/blog where people could go and learn all the basics for FREE. You guys are more than welcome to send people their until such time as your training system is in place.

Thanks for all the fantastic work you have put into GVO thus far… it is very informative with excellent video tuition… totally awesome!

    Kind Regards,

  • Hi Joel:
I have been following you guys since before you moved to Texas, and I have learned to know, like, and trust you. I joined a while back, then I canceled because I was upset that you couldn’t seem to get EVP to work the way it should(key tool for promoting). So here I am a few months later, and I have come back. Why? Because you have all the “tools” I know I need to have, and the price is right for me. So here’s my point, and Janet Legere said it, and we all hear it every day… STEP-BY-STEP. My analogy(like the surgeon on Thursday’s blog video) is a GPS system… i.e. Turn left here, turn right here, and so forth. Very detailed(key word) step by step ROADMAP. I have a good friend online by the name of Chris Farrell, and I would HIGHLY recommend you take a look at some of his videos. He is a master at giving STEP BY STEP teaching, and I tell everyone two words…SLOW DOWN while doing your videos. Give us time to absorb what you are teaching, and especially highlight your cursor on your teaching videos. If you gave me a hammer with a 3-inch long handle would I be able to pound a nail into a board very easily. No! It’s the wrong tool in the first place. So give me the right hammer(which you have done) and show me how to use it EFFECTIVELY. I learn BEST by a truly step-by-step video tutorial. Also, if you can also put that video into a PDF file so I can print it out to follow while I use the video to practice with, that is a big plus.

You guys have really put a GREAT system together, but give us the ROADMAP that shows how to use the tools. Maybe you could also put the videos up by categories to find real easy on the GVO site. Just another thought. Newbies really need a step-by-step DETAILED roadmap.

    Thanks A Lot Guys…

  • Hi Joel,

this is for sure 2 different target groups. Even the better experienced ones are divided by different level of knowledge, but not such a problem to go along with finally. And as you said, GVOacademy is probably not the right one because they are talking and explaining always knowing there IS some background lately.

In my opinion you got to care for the „bloody“ beginners with an extra seminar-package or so in the ACADEMY area. Isn‘t the name academy the right word to be informed about the most important points for those of us who are at the starting point? I mean not just as extensively as so called universities are doing, and in any case not like Wealthy Affiliate which is something very special. BUT just in order to give newbies the idea for the big picture „Internet Marketing“ or „Affiliate Marketing“ you should take a way like this into consideration. This is the bottom line.

Tissa for instance offers 3 different ways how to learn how to earn. Probably this could be something you should think of later, but is not what I have in mind with my academy proposal. You can name it „The Beginners Corner“ – „The Newbies Basics“ or this sort of ideas, if you know what I mean.

YES – you are absolutely right trying to avoid that a prospect who has just stepped in is not going to leave after some minutes – getting the feeling you don‘t care for beginners. This guy is never coming back again and is lost forever. You got it.

Watching all the many wonderful (back-office) videos Mark already prepared to the day is the best way – FOR SURE. And his -great idea- to divide the whole stuff into tiny little bites is wonderful. This will give everybody an easy way to learn what is most important. Like a basic course. And I personally really enjoyed it as well, believe me. The prospects should feel home here and be convinced: you really care.

Btw, I just want to deposit a personal point, while I‘m here. It‘s the easyVideo..which is great – BUT not good enough. Only having the possibility to make that video with a little on top camera is, pardon, just really the minimum what one can expect. I had that converastion with the support asking for the possibility not only to produce a video but to place a picture (JPG) instead. See this example *http://www.10yearsoftraffic.com/r/derfnam* – and of course a little slide show should be possible to explain things by showing not just myself. This was not makeable to the day – fortunately Jose Cyriac from the help desk asured me you‘ll have this feature ready soon. Othwise the easyVideo maker is to easy, so to speak.

I‘m out of town the first half of march visiting my old friend Colonel Noack in San Antonio by invitation and hope you‘ll have that feature ready for use when I‘m back home.

Thanks for all the great things which are steady happen to GVO and I‘m looking forward, all my best regards, Peter

  • Joel:

    1. I would like to see more details about your customers because you have to create creditability

    2. I would like to see more information in spanish

    3. You have to response your mails

  • Hello Joel,

I joined GVO as a newbie. After watching the videos, I feel lost as ever. I feel this 14 day trial is not going to work out. I feel that before the 14 days are over I am going to cancel subscription. We need a step-by-step tutorial on how to set-up websites and blogs and how to promote GVO. We need step-by-step videos how to build lists, etc.

I feel I won’t be able to do all these in 14 days since I have a 9-5 job. For this to work out give us newbies 90 days to put up a site and make an offer and build lists and make money. Then we will be your number one fan forever.

Otherwise, GVO is not really for us newbies but for the pros only.

  • Hello Joel,

I’m agree with Nir about a Spanish version and I have also problems to explain the compensation plan I suggest a graphic video that will help us to explain better the commisions to prospects.

    Thank you

  • Why I hate GVO?

Because I wish you were here a long time ago, before I got it into my head that these concepts were hard and only techies or “geeks” could decipher and implement them.

    Thanks for being here now!
The only you could add for me, is a little more help with the marketing aspect, but I guess that is where the list building comes in.
    Thanks and bye for now.

  • Newbies need to know WHY they need the tools that GVO offers. GVO is a complete package, so an expirienced person recognizes that. A short video of the W H Y they need these tools and how to make the tools work together.

  • Hello team!
All is good in GVO, products, support, trainning, comunication, ALL!

I think there are more information and sometime is to much for a newbie.

My advice is, it’s only my vision, you could add a step by step series with the MLM business but very simple no more options step by step.

    GoGVO!

  • HI JOEL
I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A HOSTING WEB SITE TEMPLATE
WITH ALL THE LINKS, BELLS, AND WHISTLES BUILT IN
SO THE INDIVIDUAL CAN ORDER WEB HOSTING FOR THEIR
PERSONAL USE! WE COULD RUN THIS TEMPLATE THROUGH A
WEB PAGE EDITOR …BRAND IT..PUT IN OUR PACKAGE PRICING
PERSONALIZE IT …UPLOAD TO THE SERVER AND BE IN
BUSINESS…LOCALLY I WOULD SOON HAVE AN INCOME STREAM
THAT WOULD HELP IN BUILDING THE HIGH END OF THE BUSINESS.
SOME OF THE CUSTOMERS COULD BE UPSOLD TO A GVO ACCOUNT IN THE PROCESS
THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS…WE SEE THE OPPORTUNITY
WITH GVO AND WISH YOU MUCH SUCCESS!

    PEACE:) 🙂 🙂

  • I think that if GVO can REALLY help the newbie generate leads quickly, that would help us generate income faster.

I’ve been with GVO since November and my biggest issue is time. I have a wife and 3 VERY BUSY kids so I need effective strategies that will help me produce leads quickly. I’ve done some article marketing and blogging I do know it works, the only thing is I don’t have the time to write 2 articles per day and then participate and post in multiple forums everyday. I’m constantly picking up one of my children or dropping them off somewhere so time is not a luxury I have to doing a lot of writing.

I know there are some systems that claim they can produce leads for you so if those types of systems are legit, it would be nice if GVO had its own system that would do the same. There could also be different levels of participating in this system. The basic level could be included in your Titanium package or you could upgrade (for a small fee) to one or two other levels of this lead generating system.

Someone also mentioned having certified trainers on staff to support the newbie so they could ask questions. I think this is great because some of the upline folks may be new or they may not really be as interested in GVO as you. Some upline folks may have other businesses they’re involved in and GVO is something extra they just put out there to their mailing list but it’s not a priority. Newbies need someone to talk to who is as invested in this as they are.

On that note, I usually only get to listen to Janet or Chet in the GVO academy and the both of them are great. I don’t know if they’re being compensated for what they do but I have learned so much from them and those are the types of people newbies need working with them.

  • Could you also add a video tutorial, text versions? I myself have poor English, and it would be better to translate the text to your language.
    Regards Eero! eikka

  • I really think that you should have some “Beginners” videos.

-What buttons to click, to set up a wordpress blog.
-How to put in your autoresponder in your blog.
-How to make a excel video with some background music, beginners
don’t start making videos to show on a blog.
-How to show that video on your blog.

Should be simple steps and short videos.

    Perhaps use a “Beginners page”

How to make a “downloadpage” so the beginners can give something
    away to build their list.

  • I’ve been reading some posts but what Doug Sunnis is saying makes sense.
GVO offers resell hosting but how to set up that package. Make it easy.

  • Hi Guys,

1.) Another stimulating video blog post…Thanks.

2.) Suggestion for Newbies and/or GVO Returnees: Create a MindMap of
how to BEST traverse the richness that is GVO.
    a) Though there are many MindMapping vendors out there, I suggest
    you use either:
    — MindManager from MindJet.com (and supply access to the
MindJet’s MindManager Viewer so those who do NOT own
MindManager software can open/read that Valuable, Visual Map.)
    — MindDomo (www.mindomo.com) a no-cost, online MindMapping
    service for the same purpose
b.) Pimp the MindMap you create (as in “Pimp my Ride”) by including
    1.) Live Links:
    — to appropriately sequenced video tutorials
    — Helpful examples of what other current users have
    produced
2.) The Paths a user may choose to follow
    — The MLM Business Opportunity Path
    — The Small Business Consultant Path
    — The GVO Hosting Customer Only Path
3.) What the three paths have in common as well as
    — how and
    — where
    they differ.
Course there’s lots more detail that’d go into the suggested classes of info above. The point is a MindMap is like any picture — worth (at least) a thousand words. The MindMap would be an opportunity for GVO to present its formidable arsenal of values in an At-a-Glance, bite-by-bite digestible format. To get the biggest bang for your buck, I further suggest that you contact someone over at MindJet and work with them to create that Map using the most current tautological philosophies available. That way you’d get to produce the best MindMap in the shortest amount of time!

Note: I am NOT associated with MindJet in any capacity whatsoever other than being a long-time customer.

    Peace and Love,
    DeeJay

  • mr joel, you email me and ask me for may comments, well ,i’ was visiting your website, and guau, you have everything, but i’m a newbie and just blogs to teach this business to a person like me ,don’t work. many times take long time to answer a question, the owner of the program, rarely answer my questions,if i’ wan to work with click bank, why not to have step by step videos, if a wan to be a affiliate, why not to have goods videos step by step. like i’ said before you have many produts,if you add, more att, to newbies, they will make money, you sell more products, look newbies as BABIES,nurture them, teach them, and they will become your customers for life.i’m mad as hell, with all this programs online, averything going to make the quick buck. one day i’ going to find sombody honest in this business. thank you

  • 1) Change initial welcome video and tell people what you want them to do first, do 1, 2, 3 etc.

    2) Stop promoting GVO Academy.com as there is nothing there but a schedule of times when people can learn something. If it’s not the proper time they’re out of here. Create a site like GVO University – com with real training they can access 24 – 7.

    3) Before implementing another giveaway get suggestions from the pro’s.

    4) Teach people the power of their cPanel. Focus on education by creating meaningful video’s that are to the point without all the chit chat. Use as a model video’s created by Google to teach people about Google’s offerings. Short and to the point 1 to 2 minutes each.

    TIME is money!!!!

The times on GVO Academy trainings are when people are at work or traveling home.

I have a suggestion to explode GVO. But I need to be compensated up front.

    Paul

  • Videos are great but not everyone remembers what they just saw and then be able to apply it. Documentation would be great! Something that explains how to use the tools and what those tools are capable of (the features).

    Thanks for asking!!

  • Last night I sent a suggestion to your support desk, but since you asked for it I will write it again.
I watched the series of 3 videos you produced on marketing. In the first one Joel, you said something about what we should never do on the index.

If I hadn’t previously watched someone else’s video about making a lead capture page I would not have know what in the world an index was/is. I would not have known that it is what you should title your homepage.

So I am suggesting for the sake of Newbies, like myself, that you be mindful that some terminology is not familiar to newbies.

You guys are awesome and I am so delighted that I found GVO. I finally at age 86 (in 3 days) have the confidence that I’m going to master Internet Marketing. God bless you all, or as you say in Texas, y’all.

  • I’m OVERWHELMED but I will not give up because it takes me so long to read & understand. [& get my computer to work]

  • Hey Joel and Mikey,

This is exactly why GVO is going be
so successful. The fact that you
care enough to ask all of us new
people what we think shows how
important the customer is to you!

I did not know anything about working
online a few months ago. I know that
watching a video once is not enough
for me to get a grasp on what is
    being taught. It takes time.

I am an old Bricklayer that is
learning new skills in this business
everyday. I must change jobs. After
38 years I’ve paid my dues.

As far as giving advice to you, I’m
obviously not the guy to ask. Now
if you need advice about building
fireplaces I can help you there! LOL
My point is, it takes time to learn
any job, and for me I am dedicated
    to learning it!

I think your support, training and
    constant willingness to improve will
take us all to the top!

Thanks for all you are doing. I know
many improvements are ahead and I
look forward to them. Keep up the
good work and I look forward to
    seeing everyone in Las Vegas!

  • How about a online website builder like Circlepad, they support their product with video tutorials and everything you create is done online and you don’t have to FTP or use a cPanel. I’m not an affiliate of theirs, they don’t have such a program. Check them out, maybe you could work a deal with them.

  • By the time you get to my comments here, you’ll have a pretty good idea what people need here in GVO. I think when you say newbie, your really asking how green we are to the internet. Myself, I’m so green I need all ABC’s and the 1,2,3’s to get anywhere. I have a domain name over at VistaPrint and I don’t know how to get it to GVO. And if I did, I wouldn’t know how to use this thing called WHM that has instructions only a qualified programmer would understand.

Just an added note here guy’s.
I just went through a company that bellied up because they didn’t have a training program installed before they launched. All they did at first was recruit and then nobody new how the product worked because there was no training. By the time they figured that out it was to late and people moved on. That company was called LocalAdLink powered by Beyond Commerce. Now it’s under a different name, but there was a lot of damage left in the wake of the founding company.

Please don’t let that happen here.

  • Joel,
    1. I would like to see a easy website building tool or software that has a simple step by step with videos telling you how to build a website.
    2. Question? Want to know if I can change my user name on my GVO account?
I don’t have my user name set as my own name and want to know if I could change it to my name without have to cancel my present account and resigning back up with another user name.

    Thanks again Joel,
    James Suggs

  • Hi Joel,
As an extended newbie… I appreciate what you are doing with GVO.
I find the internet to be mind boggling. So much to absorb, to understand.

Simplicity, Simplicity, Simplicity. That is what newbies need.

The experienced guru forgets that we newbies do not understand the simple beginnings.

Tutorials, Updates, and Training should not forget that newbies need a *** link *** to the simple beginnings.. For some it is vital to move forward…

Thank you for you courtesy and help.
    Sincerely
    SunshinePrevails4u2

PS…. Also: I agree with Karen De Haan (above)

  • I got involved with GVO because I own a website development company for the past 20 years and involved with a couple MLM companies and it was a no-brainer for me. But many newbie’s will have some challenges understanding the real value here.

I think, like many others that there should be a website builder software for the average Joe that would be so user friendly that it would very easy to develop an Internet presence immediately and without any hosting fees for each their websites this should be a not brainer.

In addition the use of simple step-by-step getting started videos and more importantly videos that show the system is being used by real people with a real business would allow the newbie to visualize how they may be using this system to their advantage.
Again a No-Brainer! This is powerful stuff!

    Steve Wright

  • Video is nice, but really guys, for some it is easier to SEE and READ instructions. I joined a month ago and still don’t know if I have something I’ve missed or where to go next.

A reference chart I can view or print with specifics on what to do next for hosting, home biz op, or MLM would be fantastic. I don’t seem to get it all when I am going video to video. Then when the kids are on the computer doing homework, I can still be productive and moving forward with what step to do next.

The live training is nice for days I am not working, but training is typically needed by the people not yet making money at this- which probably means they have a job and may not be available for many of the sessions. Mix up the training or have multiples every week. Heck, record them and archive them! Info on what will be covered would be great. Showed up for training last week to find out I need 3D glasses. I may not be able to make that timeframe again for a long time and would have loved to been prepared for the full effect (pun intended!) Archives would be a great resource as I have learned a LOT via the live training, especially when I did not even know there was something I didn’t know and needed to learn about.

I have spent last 5 days, 8 – 10 hours per day, to get website up and just yesterday discovered how to set up prospecting campaign. Don’t know where to go from there. And, I am not yet making money online.

  • Turn off the dreadful rock music on your videos. It makes me jump and the first thing I do is turn down the volume, same thing with the morse code introduction above.

A web hosting template for us to resell our own packages within GVO.
Not everyone wants to host unlimited domains, just one, so why can’t we offer single packages with all the benefits us resellers get.

  • First, I would like to say I am very grateful to have found GVO with all the great tools to really build my business and take it to the next level. Big Thanks to the GVO Team. My recommendation is that it would be nice if we had an option to buy leads that could be automatically loaded into our responder as approved and active immediately as an alternative to waiting on leads imported to opt-in and build a list. Doing both could increase the size of our list at a quicker rate to promote our primary opportunity or other income opportunities. Thanks Again in Building a Great Future!

  • Hi Joel/Mike,

Your really touching on an Area here that is centered around the Explosion of GVO. You mention very early on in your video about “Systems” and “Automation”.

Key Components are always systems and automation. Trying to do marketing online by yourself is just way too difficult. The importance of Leveraging your downline (which makes MLM so attractive) or outsourcing tasks.

As I see it, there are two separate education and training areas each GVO member requires:
    1. How to Use the GVO Tools (vidoes in place & continue adding)

    2. How to Market Online to your prospect and customer.
It’s not just knowing how to use the Tools, but where, why and how to effectively use in Your Market.

You touch on this in your Know, Like and Trust videos. It will take expanding the details behind all that. Of course, you can find coaching and marketing products/courses everywhere. That comes down to how much people want to invest in educating themselves.

Then take Action with it. (Another Key Component)

    Marshall’s Three Skills:
    1. Self Mastery – Understanding where you want to go basically (what changes do you need to make to get there)
    2. Tools – proper tools GVO
    3. Action

One other importatnt note Communication = Wealth

Communicating the skill sets on the GVO Tools and How to Market them. The basic format:
    Here’s What I Got
    Here’s Why You Need It
Here’s What It Will Do For You
    Here’s How To Get It

I’m trying to get the full grasp on all of this myself to supply a System and Automation to my downline. Your request with this post has generated some additional ideas for me.

I’ve been thinking about creating MasterMind groups within downlines. For people to share not only ideas, but resources and skills. There are people in every downline with wordpress skills, copywriting, video, seo, content, linking, networking skills etc..

Can we leverage those skills together? Bascially create partnerships or working groups? Just an idea I’m throwing out there.

We have a Community area in EVP, Why not create an Overall Community? There are probably many training videos members have already created for their own use. Would this be beneficial for others?

I do think GVO will be a life changing experience for many people. Breaking it down to simple or slow step by step actions seems to be a common theme I’ve seen in most post here.

Thanks for the sincere intentions of success you have for all of us.

    Mike Sweeney

  • Hi
Your training is great but most of the time i am missing it as i am in Australia and either it is early early morning or i am at work. Is there anyway you could have a site like Chets GVO University with all the the recordings on it
    Keep up the Good Work

  • Joel I love the easy video producer and all the changes in GVO, thanks,

I would love to see an easy website builder added but looking at the easy captures pages that you can produce with the easy video producer makes me wonder now if I even need a website its that good.

Well, I not easily impressed but the changes that you and you team have produced is fab

    Patrick from Ireland

  • I would like to see a summary of the videos in a pdf format, so you can go back and read them, rather than having to keep reloading on the screen

    Thanks for the great content

  • providing video for the newbies is a nice idea. . . knowing don’t have a choice but taking the risk.. but taking for effort to blogs in other sites.. are much effective and putting a documentation, photo exhibit as what you are introducing..

    How can I help you?

    Mark Denard Abratiguin..

  • Hey Guys,
GVO ROCKS! and so do you!

Your transparency, honesty and approachability are working,
    don’t change any of that!
AND, don’t you DARE lower the price! It is already a chore to get experienced marketers to even believe all that GVO offers for $44/month!
    Perceived value…..

I love the suggestions of some sort of fast track, step by step idea…
After all, once we learn to market any one thing, we can then market anything right?

Now, I have been waiting and hoping that you would incorporate some sort of easy site builder….
    C panel, FTP, ya, NOT!
After hours and much frustration, I still cannot get a simple webpage to look like it should once I upload it!
Go Daddy and weebly both have very good, simple ones, something like that please? Imagine being able to present this awesome, all in one package to the general public who do not know what hosting even means, they’ll join just to be able to build awesome websites!

I love the E Responder, but cannot use it with other “systems” yet… That would be great to be able to eliminate Aweber completely!

Archive the Academy trainings? I often go back to Chet’s, multiple times! These could be sorted by topic? You all have SO MUCH to share,
it is often perceived as too good to be true!

Thanks for allowing us the chance to offer feedback guys,
keep doing what you are doing, and GVO will become a household name!

  • Marketing newbies come in all sorts of ages, sexes, education levels, interest etc etc etc.

I would like to see more teenagers involved in teaching young entrepreneurs, more elderly ie: Chet, Darlene Sartore, myself teaching from the boomer/retired perspective, single parents, more women who are stay at home business types.

Also just as Chet does with his business, teach from those that can show “this is what I have done and continue to do and it works for me” and I use GVO tools in such and such a manor.

There is probably a lot of people that can teach a variety of classes and some that could learn a great deal about themselves once they try it out and see how much you can actually learn by teaching.

We here in the GVO community have only just begun to see the potentials.

    Howard Feight

  • Here’s my ideas, for what they are worth.

    1. A members forum.

    2. Along side the videos you have for using the different components in Gvo, create pdfs that are kind of like a manual to each of the different softwares.

    3. Maybe create some checklists for different marketing tasks. Something you could print out and check off the box when you have accomplished that.

Example for “How to Format Your Emails”

[] Make sure your subject line sparks curiosity to get your subscriber to open your email.
[] Use a consistent from email address and name.
[] Make sure your email talks directly to your subscriber like a friend.
    [] Have a call-to-action.
    [] Add a p.s. to your email
[] Make sure to wrap your text at 60 words per line.
[] If sending HTML, make sure a text version is also included.
[] When using text, write out URLs in full, including the http:// or they may not be clickable.

Anyway, you get the idea. You guys are absolutely awesome, and it was just a couple of weeks ago, I went back & found that video archive about the hummer. I was getting some help from your technical guys and one of the names sparked my memory, so I had to go watch it again.

You know what, that video made me feel better. Sorry Joel, but I laughed a couple of times and smiled through most of it. You guys have the same issues that everybody has and your not afraid to show that you are only human. No, I’m pretty sure your not “Super Man”. 😀

  • I think GVO has great tools, but as I’m a newbie and don’t understand them very well.. For example, I watched the setup videos about Domains Registration and Webhost Manager, but when I tryed to ‘build a website’ using your system, I did it, but what kind of site to build, is it necessary to build one? If I understood well, we can make money offering your system away and hosting another sites with you too, right?
But we need to put your dns,and what to do with the sites we create and want to hosting with you? Do we have to use it with your dns too?
Why will it be better if we bring our site from another hosting sytem to yours? Do we have to change anything on it to host with you, and cancell the another host?
I don’t know English very well, but it’s not so hard to read it. So, it’ll be very interesting if you make a transcript of the videos too.
About Autoresponder, if we have our own list, how to import it from our hard drive or site to yours?
Why don’t you create some tools like traffic exchanges or list building to use from the back office. Maybe put some TE and list buiding links can automatize our advertising efforts..
Help me to make money with you, because I’m only paying and paying, and I’m not making any cent yet!!!

    Best regards from Brazil,

    Edgard.

  • Joel,
GVO is Awesome but for a non techie I hit a road block!

    A. Offer two options: 1: Web tech’s, a basic version with all the bell’s and whistles. 2. Newbie’s lair, a simple list of steps to follow to begin with. Website development, Auto responder use, ect…

    B. C-Panel deciphered, what to use to create a website. A shortcut to a ready website, the difference between a website and a blog? …

    C. Redo the opening welcome page, too confusing… Have a check list of what you did so far, to keep track of our progress!

    D. Set up a Newbie Panel of 5-10 Newbies via Video conference! or sit in on one of your support / help sessions!

Like what we have here at UPS is a Concern Committee that they report to you with all the findings of problems and concerns. A Newbie think tank to call it. That would free up your time and still get the answers you need. Those would give you the best testimonials from our point of view! I would love to be on one of those committees!
Become my friend and join in and see!
Greg Schuhrke Developing “MyWealthAdvice.com” with GVO!
But not ready yet! I am just stuck!

  • Great Job Joel and Mikey, really!

    From GananciasGVO:

    – We would love to see GVO in SPANISH.
    – Personally, teaching people how can they use GVO servicies to make some extra cash implementing some easy affiliate marketing strategies could be a good idea while their matrix grow.

    Thank you for asking.

  • I think you should use caption while you say anything or video. I
learn nothing from it because of hearing impaired. I am not pleased and waste my money.

  • You sent me mail asking me to post so here goes.
    1. The starter (don’t use newbee) knows nothing about WHM. He has enough trouble figuring out CPanel.
    2. Cut that $1.00 for the 1st month test drive. I makes you look like a starving marketer. How about this? Don’t pay a cent till they start making money. This gives them the feeling you are really going to help them. Of course there has to be a set time period.

  • I used to teach HTML for GVO for over 4 years. I’m not doing that now, but I do have a website with a TON of tutorials and videos.

I hate video, in any form. I love the PDF format for tutorials, as you can scroll up and find info, instead of trying to go back on a video to find what you missed – very frustrating. So, there are PDF files on there as well.

    Many thanks to my friends.

  • Hi Guys,

I just finished constructing a newsletter and video capture page, and I had a lot of problems with the Eresponder html builder.

    1. I couldn’t change the video and had to do a page with an external editor.

    2. The eResponder pro html editor has no full screen mode that I could find, which made editing the message extremely difficult.

I have a lot of html editing experience, so I would say that you should play with the product with someone who doesn’t know that much and see what they say. I would say this:

    1. Put the editor on its own page so it is full screen, increase the icon sizes and the font size on the mouse over.

    2. I couldn’t change the video on the capture page, even using the public html link. I couldn’t find a way around that, so it rendered the editor useless to me. You should look into that.

    3. The tutorial videos are great, but they really need to be a bit longer and more detailed, with concrete, step by step examples.

Thanks for your patience and support. I WILL see you guys in Las Vegas on 3/26!!!

By the way, if anyone is going solo and would like to share a room, please shoot me a message at dc3@tcfinfo.org

  • Joel and MikeyP,

I would fit the demographic of newbie/part-timer. I spend most of my efforts over the weekends to make this work for me. I’ve been around for months but have only really focused on getting a website up over the last 4 to 6 weeks. You have the content with all of the videos but Chet’s videos for example are all organized for when he taught the class, not by content.

I’ve spent hours going from one video to another trying to find answers to simple questions like why I couldn’t update my blog on cpanel. After listening to 4 hours of video I found the instructions to log out of the reseller cpanel and log back into my blog’s cpanel. Pretty simple but unless you know the answer pretty frustrating. If I wasn’t so stubborn I would’ve been gone long ago.

    Some suggestions:
    1. Create and maintain a table of contents for the training videos.

    2. Make the TOC searchable.

    3. If we can show someone how to make a 7 figure income with GVO why can’t we provide some straight shooting instructions on how to make at least $50 per month right off. Once someone is making more that what GVO cost they will stick around.

I’d like to see some simple but clear instructions on how to have someone (Like myself) be able to sign up and be making more the 50 in affiliate marketing, adsense sites or whatever by some reasonable effort that would occur by the time the trial is over.

    Lots of good suggestion here.

  • Hi Joel ,

You Are Absolutely Right about the Questions

    what web hosting is
    what an auto responder is
    etc..

How do I Build a Website
How do I Access and work with Cpanel
How do I Add eMail Box In Cpanel
What type of eMail Boxes do I need For My Website

A Step By Step Video That Opens in a New Tab or Window

I Absolutely REFUSE To Let This Wonderful Women Fail .

  • Love the chance to give my thoughts. Thanks.

It would be great if the videos could go hand in hand with a document. I for one tend to forget what I have heard or seen before I get a chance to follow.

Given I am in Australia our times clash so something to read would be great.

For some of us, I am sure I’m not the only one, when we think it is difficult, sure enough it is. Even when it isn’t.

I have watched a video by Chris Farrell? (sure that’s his name) he is able to go step by step, its wonderful. Keep it simple.

    cheersKay

  • Hello, My name is Martin I’m from Spain I’m working with the team GVO Hispanic gains, we are waiting impatiently for the GVO Spanish, in my opnion is the best deal you can offer today, Mr. Therien thank you for making this opportunity We await you soon at one of our meetings on Saturday greetings

  • I just wanted to comment one more thing, you offer many more opportunities, we receive every day, but many here in Spain and in the Hispanic world do not speak English, I think you should consider the many opportunities that are being lost by this factor, consider provide these opportunities seriously in Spanish, thank you very much.

  • Hi Joel

    I do reseller hosting –

It would be helpful if GVO would create some simple sales templates for us to adopt and implement so that we can launch out our sales the minute we sign up .

My own example – i use some space our of the 70 gb in the Titanium package to host a few of my websites for $44.95 a month . That’s pretty cheap to start a reseller hosting business in developed countries but not in developing countries . However if i can rent out the balance of the space for more than the monthly fee i will make a profit.

Sales templates with simple graphics, video , sound and the sales copy is preferred as the internet speed in developing countries is slower that that in the developed countries.

If GVO could do that it would be helpful as it takes time to learn all about GVO before we are confident to sell the reseller package. This way we can sell and learn at the same time.

Thanks for listining – you guys are GREAT !

  • Hi Guys

Thanks for the STEP BY STEP VIDEOS

But please slow down while doing the Videos as you are going to fast for NEWBIES

Need a STEP BY STEP Roadmap to print out while watching the Videos

STOP sending people to GVO Academy as there is NOTHING there only
    SCHEDULES of times

    Apart from that

    Thanks again GUYS

  • Hi Joel,
I think you are doing a great job with making things simple for newbies. I myself is a newbie and at times having problems with the eresponder and setting up campaings, also explanation on splash pages could be of great value.

Anyway keep up the good work that you are doing.

    Kelvin

  • can you add article rewriter and submitter feature in GVO titanium??
that would be PERFECT WAR TOOLS

  • Hey, I want an Autoresponder series that discusses the basics of bussiness on the web so I have useful material to deliver to my prospects.

  • Hi Joel, i’d love to see a spell checker added to the HTML editor if one is not their already. thanks

  • Hi Joel and Mike,

My biggest wish for GVO is that your eResponder could really surpass Aweber. I continue to stay with aweber and not use the GVO eResponder because aWeber is set up to integrate it with other tools like the shopping cart/membership program I use (Premiumcast.com). Another example is AWeber lets me set up Blog Broadcasts that automatically sends my blog post out to my list.

The next big request is a feature that would create a shopping cart and an affiliate program. Is that too much to ask? The affiliate program is the hard part. The only completely integrated autorsponder, shopping cart and affiliate program administration I know of is 1shoppingcart.com or their knockoffs and they are horrible to work with.

    Thanks for asking!

  • Hi guys – it sure is looking good – one point I would like to ad is I don’t think you can have to many sign up pages to me this should be an ongoing learning curve the ones that are available in our membership now are great – but some more would be welcome I’m sure – thank you guys for all the hard work you have all put in at your end of this GVO membership it has not gone un-noticed by the masses – lol

  • I had a few people who came into the opportunity room and said it was not for them They were overwhelm by the information that was provided Is there any way to overcome that?

Maybe we can created a step by step procress so they wont be overwhelmed one step at a time

  • Hey guys,

    Nice training, great valuable service.

I would like to have telephone support.

I have been doing a series of training videos for PeopleString. There are several videos in my training focused on GVO and all the tools needed for Internet Marketing.

I have had to issue a support ticket for almost every site that I have set up so far. You guys are good at answering them in a timely manner, but it’s frustrating to have to stall a project waiting for support ticket answer. The live chat is cool, but 2 out of 3 times, I have been told to submit a ticket.

The videos show up as blank sections on many of the web pages. Is there a way to make the first scene show up or at least the player?

    Thanks,

    Ted

  • Hi Joel,

I would love to see some splash pages and pages with-out video. I also would love to be able to create my own sales letters that I can use with the GVO Recruiter.

  • Hey Guys!

Great stuff! In fact it’s so great I can’t sell it to several leads I got. They can only pay via PayPal or AlertPay. There’s gotta be a way we can do that?

    Thanks,

Don Wood & Sons in India

  • I would really like to see some more squeeze pages!

    Don Wood

  • I just stopped by here out of curiosity. Yet I still have not found a quick explanation of what GVO is. I saw MLM and wanted to run not walk away. I think alot of people feel that way.

I think it would be beneficial if you could put something up that gives us the description of what your site is about, without having to sign up for the academy.

That’s just my two cents worth as a newbie. Overwhelmed yep, you betcha,I think that would not be as bad with access to information.

    Have a great day
    Bioniclily

  • I’ve seen the 7 figure income tutorials at least 3 times, there was very valuable information, I think that you are absolutely correct that if we want to get sales we have to get personal and encourage to have a blog. It will be nice to have a tutorial or even better an automatic way for the newbies to install WordPress with their new domain without any previous struggle.

It will sure be nice to have a template such as this one for our blogs or a set of templates that we could choose from, just to make a difference and to look more professional to our readers. That will really make an impact and a difference in our business.

  • Hi Joel,

I go all along with Jane Burch comment about the GVO autoresponder.GVO needs to work on the autoresponder/shoppingcart/affiliate marketing bit to compare well with Aweber.

Randy Whitehorne rightly points out that some people respond that it’s not for them. Honest Holly pointed out to the hypy bit on GVO. I agree.
The recruiting pages are professional, but we need simple squeeze pages.

Many people aren’t into MLM, so GVO loses out on this score! I have been with a dozen different MLM’s in my life and been left with a sour taste.

The whole GVO needs to be professionally simple, not intimidating, not overpowering. To be made into a hosting service that marketers can easily recommend to their lists, like they are doing now with recommending Hostgator or Bluehost or Hostmomster.

Perhaps a GVO-Affiliate-Cart – Comprising of autoresponder/shoppingcart/affiliate-manager and hosting service.

Simplify the training interface to make it user friendly !

    I hope it all helps,

    Giovanni

  • hi,

I think a members forum would be a great thing to implement in the GVO system. I’m sure there is hundreds of experienced entrepreneurs in GVO that have much to share and all we newbies could ask questions and learn from others.

    thanks

    Per

  • I am from India and the Single Biggest problem newbies coming to GVO for the first time do not understand the real value and power of internet business

In India the old school method is the one that is being followed. Weekend meetings, cold calling and presentation. The reason internet usage is low is Bandwidth which is very low in India

I would request if we can have a simple plain video that demonstrates how Internet Business is powerful online than offline, this video will help Newbies to realize the potential and join GVO

  • I have a few “wish-list” items.

    1. I would really love to see structured hosting reseller support. Very early on one of the affiliate pages touted the value of being a hosting reseller because GVO would handle tech support for our clients. When I asked for details on that I was told that was just placeholder text.

To really take advantage of reseller hosting we need to know exactly how tech support should be handled and it would help to have something like ModernBill to automate client sign-ups and payments.

    2. An eCommerce solution – a shopping cart that doesn’t require expert knowledge of HTML, PHP and MySQL.

    3. More structured training or maybe just written training materials.

    4. A reseller version of eResponder for our hosting reseller clients.

Thanks for all that you do and thanks for asking us what we want!

    Brenda

  • I would like to see some Basic Training video pages, that are imbedded with my links, that I can send to prospects so they can understand how they can make money with GVO.

  • Dear Joel

As you said in the video all GVO Tolls are right in place BUT
I think it will be a very good idea to publish a brief manual on email marketing so we can use our eresponder to reach its full potential without geting to much bounces.

The money is in the list for sure but we need to get some tips an tricks,

  • The products are exceptional. Difficult to learn and use because they know English.
It would be great to have a site with the presentation in Romanian.
It seems awkward but not impossible.
    Good day, Emil

  • Hi,

My request is the ability to see at what message my prospect is at in the program sequence of Eresponder.
Also have a prospect who is double optin who as listen to all the message I would like the ability to start them receiving the message already received once over again.
Something I had with Traffic Wave in the past

    Regards

    Claude

  • At the end of the contest will that capture page be redirected so that we don’t have to go to all of our TE and other mailing and change the usrl?

  • Hello, I am part of GVO and GananciasGVO.

Currently working in a dairy factory and I would put a poster or flyer on the bulletin board entry and dining room, for offline advertising.
I searched the page but can not find.
It is possible to develop something for me, I suppose there must be more people interested.

Thank you very much, you are awesome!

  • I would like to see an example of massages for the e-responder… For the newbie…. and th slower people like me…lol

  • Hey guys,
I would really like to see an “UNBRANDED VIDEO OPTION” I currently have to pay for another service just to keep the videos unbranded. I want a complete stealth video player that doesn’t need to be in a template and I would like a 100% customizable stealth template so I can put text and video wherever I want to. Lets do this. -Rick-

  • Hi Guys

You are doing a GREAT job….

When do you plan for us to have http://www.easyvideoproducer.com affiliate opportunity to use to gather leads for our GVO business?

    Cheers Ray

  • OK guys, here are my suggestions:

1.) I’d love to see a tracking system being integrated into GVO that can track Adwords campaigns. This is really easy to do, just take the adwords tracking code and change the account / campaign specific values to variable that we can enter in our GVO back office.

2.) I’d love to see you hiring a real good copywriter to create at least 10 follow up messages for the prospecting autoresponder that all members can use.

3.) I’d love to see that people from the prospecting autoresponder who signup for the $1 trial automatically go into a 2nd autoresponder that is filled with emails that explain them how to promote GVO and how to use all the tools

4.) I would change the $1 trial to a free signup… then I’d list up all free signups in the downline… it will be easier for people to get free signups… they see results and keep promoting… that produces alot of spill over and people will then more likely upgrade their account to not lose their downline. I would also send them an email every time they get a new free signup in their downline.

5.) I’d love to see a Downline Builder being integrated into GVO for building up downlines in Manual Traffic Exchanges and Credit Based Safelists etc. This will give newbies a point to quickly start advertising for free and through the Downline Builder we can all build up viral traffic.

6.) I’d love to see a Squeeze Page that gives away a MLM related ebook for free… in this ebook you can explain how MLM works and that they need hosting, autoresponder etc. and then get them signed up to GVO.

    Alright, that’s it for now.

  • In one of your video intros you mention that you started your business by getting local customers. Training in this area would be very lucrative for anyone who wants to start or expand their own online business.

Training in this area with information on which customers would be most lucrative, how to approach them, what to say, what contracts to use to stay out of legal trouble, etc. would be most beneficial.

This is something I am planning on implementing and would appreciate any advice or instruction as to how to “professionally” present myself.

  • I would like to see the website builder w/templates come back (KIOSK).

  • Need a more versatile auto-responder that allows different profiles so we can use different “from” addresses depending on the offer.

  • Joel
I sent some info to blake. Doing great but my wish list is with blake

  • Joel, I would like to see more educational videos on how to develop content for video, eresponder, web sites and capture pages.

Thanks, for all the improvements that you have continued to make to GVO.

Joel and Mike you are awesome!

    Sidney

  • Wow what a great company to be a part of. To be here is amazing.

    Here is my feedback…

    1) We are talking about making this easier for the newbie, and building confidence.

I can say in my experience when coming online is the direct marketing meets internet marketing aspect. ( I was trained extensively in cold reading, and sales pshycology).

One thing that I teach my students that is exclusive from others is that I train my people on sales pshycology. (How the mind works through the sales process from intro to close using a buying line.)

I heard Mark touch on cold reading on the last call. So Marks training will be helpful for others to learn in the cold reading aspect because not everyone will use just the internet.

There should be some face to face sales made as well.

People will want to know what do I say to a prospect, or even how to recognize a prospect and their level of interest.

I know in my experience, confidence has to be built by knowing more about your product as well as how to convey the message to others.

So a course about what we have to offer and why people need our products would be helpful for those that don’t have enough confidence in speaking to others.

By knowing the products inside and out, and how it will benefit others would be a huge plus.

Just one video about the tools and why people need them. This could also be embeded into a splash page that we can send people to to get the information needed to make that ultimate buying decision.

    2) I would also like to see a series of auto responder messages that will lead a client through the processes, as well as slightly repeat itself until that prospect has either purchased or opted out.

    3) I would also like to see 3 generic sales videos that we can direct to any website. One for business opportunity. One for Tools, and one for a sales funnel. From my training, and experience these are 3 very important items in your arsenal that are needed. (Business, tools, and sales funnel.)(This is for people wanting to use GVO to direct to different sales funnel or tools and or business.)

I believe with those additions GVO would be untouchable.

  • Joel and Mike,
I truly believe you guys are working to make GVO the best for everyone.
As a small biz owner and a non-techie newbe to setting up a website and an eresponder-based marketing operation, my biggest frustration is I can NOT DO the steps while WATCHING a video. An e-manual with screen shots and a step-by-step set of printable instructions would allow me to actually get set up and USE the superior technology you offer. Although being aboard several months, I have not sponsored anyone nor have I tried to sell the benefits of GVO to other local small biz owners as someone suggested we can do…which I really want to do, but that’s not doable if I cannot set up my own biz.

  • Joel, I would like to see a marketing 101 course, idiot’s guide to GVO, and self brandable ebook on GVO’s offerings. Here are some newbie essentials that I think GVO needs to have.

    1) A 6-8 module video course on how to make money online with GVO’s products or do affiliate marketing. Emphasizing on an action plan at the end of every module. Something like the Affiliate Millionaire. Preferably include a set of quizzes. Best if they’re done as an interactive training series.

    2) A story teller animation. People love stories. If you have a short animation telling a story on how GVO can help people save or make money that would help a lot.

    3) A forum where people can interact and share ideas. Give incentives to major contributors for helping out newbies

    4) Easy to use wizards that walk people through step by step on how to use the autoresponder or get a video online or get a video message out.

    5) A goal setting tool to help people stay focus, track their progress and grow their GVO business.

If these things are done, newbie should feel confident in GVO’s offerings.

P.S. All, use http://trafficprophet.com to get traffic and grow your GVO biz!

  • Hey, that Hummer is now collectible, since they are not going to build more!

One of the biggest problems I have is generating content. I am not a writer and most PLR out there is ‘less’ than desirable! And for most just starting out, resources – $$$ – are hard to come by. A tool to help with content creation would be great.

Thanks guys and have a good weekend.

  • Hi Joel,
You could get more people with a free signup or an affiliate signup forpeople without a credit card.
Also an autoresponder already set up as most do not know how and will not try to do it.
Include a Tell a Friend system with 5 or 10 spaces.
    Regards,
    Andre Gagnon

  • hi guys,i would love to see videos on uploading websites to gvo
i just can’t get it right, i need step by step info.thanks, vincent

  • Hi Joel,
Good to know that you will read these posts.
Understandably we have no direct way to communicate with you.
As a Newbie, I have been trying for 10 months to earn $ in IM. The only $ I earned was $44 when one of my twitter followers signed up for GVO. In other words I have been failing and going more broke every day.
I will not waste your time by repeating the comments made in prior posts. The gist:
    1) Simplify all processes
    2) Provide samples of any process regardless of how simpleit is.
    3) Better tech support (it takes several e-mails to get the info)
    4) Keep adding features (as you already do).
Thanks for the opportunity to comment

  • Hi Joel and Team. Most of my concerns are posted above.Haven’t been able to get past setting up the prospecting page.Complete my name and email address then cant find out what to do after that as nothing happens.Where do I put it and how to get those contacts coming in.

The time factor(live in New Zealand)of the conference calls make it difficult to attend as the 2pm conference is 8am the next day here and so on to 10pm there is 4pm here, clashes with working hours.

I know it is work in progress and it’s great that you have asked for feedback.
Great system.Keep up the good work.

  • Hi Guys,

Not being the techiest of people I’ve suprised myself with what I’ve managed to understand.

It would be great to have a site/blog builder tutorial, not only focusing on the technical side but also on the marketing side for the best way to structure them.

For me the icing on the cake would either be a tutorial or better some kind of application that allows us to add giveaways/incentives (bribes sound better) to our sites/blogs. As success revolves around building a list and keeping it sweet, something that helps us do that will not only help us but be a useful selling point for potential affiliates.

    Have a great weekend,

    Mike

  • Dear JOEL I do not doubt the invaluable aid for anyone who would incidentally the Academy.Pero access the reality is that many of us speak Castilian has been banned so we can access such knowledge by the language barrier . We look forward to when you take into account market hispanoparlante.Pués although the texts I can fix with a translator all video material we can not understand .-
Thank you very much for everything you have built

  • I have been a member of GVO for some time but have never really paid much attention to it as I have been busy elsewhere, that will change. I was out in the members area today and I was really impressed as to the products and upgrades. I don’t know why anyone that is serious about doing business online would not want what GVO offers.

I would like to see a real good professional grade tutorial on video production and editing.

GVO could also create professional video back grounds and clips with audio back ground music. It would be great for the members and make great products as well.

  • Hi Joel,
I first started with the Platinum Package and later upgraded to Titanium when at the same time added Hot Conference. I use your tools for my pastoral minitry and mission work. I am nearing retirement and would like to do more with reselling the products but not so much in the MLM area. It seems that the marketing side is the most intimidating for me and for others. I identify with on of the comments that said when viewing the training videos and then going to the tools is difficult unless I take notes. Written instructions would be helpful here.
From what I read in the comments today it seems that personal coaching is what people want. Maybe you could offer several levels of coaching. Just some thoughts.

  • Love GVO, excellent tools.

What I need with GVO is more flexibility on EResonder.

For example. When someone enters their name and email in the opt in form, you can add a website that a person is directed to. But….you cannot add a different website url for when a person finishes the double opt in by clicking on the link in the confirmation email.

I really need the ability to send a person at first opt in to a certain page and then if they click on the link from the confirmation email to send them to a different page.

I would also like to see the ability to record more than just voice with Hot Conference. If we use Hot Conference to train our team, we cannot yet record the whole event to provide to them as a video for later unless we use and outside screen recording software.

Thanks, great stuff so far GVO team,

    Mike

  • Hi Joel

Is no doubt that by now GVO tools have more value than its cost if you have already a web page.

The problem is with hundreds of newbies that dont have a web page or having one they are NO earning money from theirs web page.

The solution is very simple … Help people improving their web page (sales letter, conversion rate, web design) and with enogh testimonios showing the money it will be very easy to sell gvo packages.

I say amen to Guido Nussbaum and Robert Blakely on their posts. In my opinion I think they are all good. I will place my own below…

I own both of Mike Filsamie’s Butterfly Marketing and Manuscript and Mike says it best on how he gets his new clients up-and-running quickly by giving them proven methods of advertising and promotion and leaves nothing behind for the newbie-or anyone else for that matter. He has a system and that’s what makes him so successful in keeping his retention rate up by getting folks started on the right foot and making money. I would like to see more of this example done for us–and everyone.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to express our views. That’s just good business!

    Have a great day,

    Don Artis

  • What about having a class that would walk the new person step by step in getting set up. Have the class last several weeks that would basically take them by the hand and show them how to do it. You could start a new class every couple of weeks to continually add new people into the system of learning. You could suggest that the new person only attends this class until they are up and running so that they do not get overwhelmed.

The videos are great but it gets very confusing. A class setting is the best way for people to learn. A newbie cannot be expected to watch videos alone and then put them into action. There is so much information that it gets confusing.

I love that GVO is so concerned about the newbie and also offers great tools for the very experienced internet marketer.

    Thanks so much,
    Kim

  • Hey Guys,

    Here’s my 2 cents worth

What about having a service like Fusion HQ below is what is included in there package

Sales Processes: Sales processes allow you to create drag and drop sales flows. Allowing you to manage upsell and downsell sales funnels, even A/B split testing, with point and click ease. Choose from templated processes, or create your own.

Sites: Using the drag and drop technology you can build entire sites. These can be content, mini or membership sites. Membership sites include timed delivery, scheduled release of content and simple management for multiple membership levels.

Products: Set up products within Fusion HQ to avoid complex coding of buy now buttons. Easily create multiple payment options for payment plans, one time offers or buy now buttons. Integrates with PayPal, 1 Shopping Cart and ClickBank.

Transactions: The number of transactions that you site can process in any month. We send all transactions via the Fusion server to allow for accurate data tracking and to ensure the most secure affiliate tracking system available.

Optin Forms: You can set up optin lists to send data to Aweber, Get Response or 1 Shopping Cart without the need for copy and pasting code. Also includes a range of tested templates to get the look, and response, you want with a single click.

Membership Levels: Create multiple membership levels to control access to protected content. Make 1 access for multiple sites, or multiple accesses to 1 site. Easily manage members from the the Fusion HQ dashboard.

Affiliates: Run your own affiliate program, fully integrated to all your Fusion sites and sales processes without doing a thing. Create campaigns, affiliate tools and even add your product to the Affiliate Marketplace to get more people promoting for you.

Tracking Data: Quick stats show you how well your sales processes and optin forms are converting. Get results from A/B split testing at a glance and see which pages are losing visitors.

File Storage: Upload images to be used in your sites, affiliate tools or for custom templates and buttons. This allows you to easily manage your site files all in one location. Especially great if you edit on the move.

Custom Templates: While Fusion HQ provide you a range of professionally designed templates free for you to use in any of your Fusion sites Lite and Pro users can easily upload custom designs to suit any project.

Full Integration: Everything in Fusion HQ is fully integrated. This means no need to try and add code from one script to another, manage sends between 3rd party providers or have the usual headaches of building a functioning system.

GoToWebinar Integration: Easily create optin forms that you can use to register attendees to a GoToWebinar event. You can add them to your autoresponder list at the same time and even register them for multiple calls in one go.

Advanced Auto Coding Technology: Simply put the site is built for you (including OTO and exit popup code etc). All the complicated stuff (the HTML, CSS, Java Script, PHP, files structures etc are taken care of. No programming skills needed.

1 Click Upload: Building and managing your sites and sales processes could not be easier, however uploading them to your web host is easier still. 1 Click and it is live on your server in seconds.

    Please check it out.

Sorry this is not a sales pitch I just thought these seamed to be some cool tools we might be able to use.

    Regards

    Darren.

  • hi there ive been signed up to your service for a while now but never made a start .in the acadamy is it possible to have the times in gmt as dont know what est time is as i live in the uk. would it be possible to have a step by step guide from day 1 to ….. to get newbies up and running ,i get the overall picture but get lost on joining up the dots. as i signed up years ago im not under a mentor like janet leger .i think that would have helped

  • Hello Joel and Mike,

I’m writing this post extemporaneously and without edit so please forgive me if it’s a little loopy! Also, sorry for the length…

    Here’s my two cents…

    The E-responder:
The e-responder needs to be updated to keep pace with what is happening in the competitive autoresponder industry. Currently I use Aweber as well as Get Response and I would love to be able to rid myself of multiple autoresponder services. The truth is that many of your top level marketers that are using GVO hosting are not using the e-responder system, they are using Aweber or Get response. Perhaps question these marketers as to what would be needed to get e-responder up to par.
    ———
Follow up email series for people marketing GVO:
The follow up series that is available within the e-responder for marketing the GVO opportunity needs to be greatly enhanced… have some professional copywriter put together a kick-ass series of like 25 plus emails… Perhaps offer a free video within each email that is part of the series that trains people on the importance of the GVO opportunity and the benefits it offers as compared to everything else out there. In my opinion the focus should be on that owning the company store is better than panning for the gold and that doing nothing to better your economic wellbeing will get you nothing. Also, GVO offers leverage.
    ———
    A GVO sales automation script:
Develop and make available for GVO members a script for selling products, managing affiliates, etc. – For example, there are several simple but great scripts for selling digital products on the market such as $7 script and RAP that enable a webmaster to automatically sell and deliver products on line. I think that it would be great for GVO to develop an in-house script that could be installed automatically. Of course a video educating people on how to use it would be necessary.
    ———
    Templates:
Wordpress themes and plugins developed by and only available through GVO (for GVO members only). These templates should be pre-coded with a member’s affiliate id so there is a viral aspect to each theme. I’ve been involved in the template business for over 16 years and the truth is that WordPress is where everyone is going. Nearly all of my profitable sites have a WordPress Blog and the themes and plugins are critical. So, the development of special, brandable and viral WordPress themes, landing pages, plugins, would be a valuable addition for members.
    ———
    The Marketing Plan:
It seems that many people have problems with the words, “MLM”. The truth is that these people won’t do anything anyway so this isn’t a problem, but…. maybe change the compensation plans name to something like “Leveraged Marketing” or something like that. In addition, you have a lot of top level internet marketers that are marketing GVO and are using your service… perhaps create a video that features them talking about leverage and how the GVO opportunity enables members to use leverage to build significant passive income. In addition to the “guru” types get some real video of just normal people talking about the GVO service and opportunity. In fact, maybe make a contest of some sort to get people to post videos, etc and pick some winners…
    ———

    Food for thought and ramblings:
Several years ago I was a project manager for a large project in the Middle East. One of my employees was arrested for being drunk and disorderly in public and for soliciting a prostitute. I went to the police station to see if I could be of assistance to him and to assess the severity of this situation. A police captain spoke with me and told me that my employee would spend the night in jail and maybe two if he showed no sense of contrition and that he would have to pay a big fine. At that moment a group of women were being escorted through the hallway and it was fairly obvious that they had been arrested and were being escorted to jail. I asked the policeman “what would happen to them?” He said that they would be treated with dignity and then sometime within a week would be deported to their home countries and they would likely not be fined at all. And then he said some very interesting things… He said, “you know that one of those girls was a lawyer in her home country and one of the other girls used to be a fairly high ranking police officer. In both cases and many more just like them they had family problems and money problems and felt that they needed to do something to support their families.” He then said, “You know in our opinion your employee is far more to blame than these girls. The truth is that no girl when they are young want to grow up to be a prostitute, they have dreams of being something important just like my daughter who wants to be a detective! For us, we are saddened that these women are in this position. The fact is that although what they are doing is bad in the eyes of our religion, we feel very bad for these girls because their dreams and potentials have been sidetracked.
What’s my point? People don’t grow up thinking that they want to be a network marketer or a MLM guru, an affiliate marketer, or even a salesperson… they grow up wanting to be a pilot, or a scientist or a fireman, or a Doctor or something that brings value to themselves or to their community. So, my point is that I believe the focus of GVO (at least for me) is to present the opportunity in such a way that enables people to understand that they can get paid to talk about, or explore and blog about the things that interest them and still have the capacity to earn passive residual income simply by telling the story that they are building a residual income business by doing what they want and what interests them. Basically, the model is: Personal website (focus is on what interests the webmaster – the GVO member) >>> GVO Banner – – get paid to be you ) >>> lead capture page ) >>> AR Series ) >>> close.

I’m tired… thanks Joel and Mike.

    Kind regards,
    William

  • Hello Joel,

To expand on what Kim was saying from the mlm perspective. There needs to be someone who has a strong MLM background who is doing training on how to bring the newbie in with hands on grass roots base boot camp system… Someone who understands that 90% or more of the people that get involved with GVO will a newbie. I’ve been in at least 40 different internet based businesses over the past 10 years and know of all these tools but have never used them other than in a replicated system that I plugged my name into. So I am a newbie and I’m a self motivated person who has been self taught at everything from building sites and internet ventures to working on my car. There is going to have to be some grass roots training by leaders in their perspective areas. People will commit to a training class before they commit to sitting down and watch videos. General people like to be part of a group. I have already had people tell me point blank that they do not want to sit down and watch videos but wanted me to teach them. So my partner and I are learning as much and as quickly we can and have acquired the training space. Equipping it with wireless internet so people can bring their laptops and get started with some hands on training. We will be using to the videos but we will be there to immediately answer any questions. We will also have our conference rooms open at the same time for those who can’t make it to our location but still what to participate in the interaction. A person with an MLM experience will understand that you can tell someone you will give them 50 dollars to walk across the dark street and push the button on the other side and they will have excuses why that can’t do it right now. But if you take them by the hand and walk with them across the dark street and push the button with them, the lights will come on the street will no longer be dark. Now encourage them to do the same the person scared to cross the dark street.
Like to add that I feel very strongly about GVO and many years ago wished for a company like this. Had never felt inspired to take on a leadership role with any other company as I have with GVO.
    Thanks Joel,
    Ken @ KenJefferson.com

  • Aloha Joel:
I am taking a different twist on this.
I have been in the game of building a down line, way before Al Gore invented “The Internet.” Yes, built lists and down lines on Internet business opportunities. Want to get back to selling in a niche market. Selling to established businesses, who have sales teams and branches in remote areas. So I am looking for themes and templates targeted to small to big businesses that need to communicate with their troops.
I would say my skill level is intermediate. However, I do have two people in our group who are highly skilled and they are Russ McGinn and Gary J. Cooper. Think you know Russ.
Our group is called Global Streams of Income Group (G-SIG).
    Mahalo for your time,
    Gene E. Moore.
BTW Who is doing your Administration there in San Antonio?

  • I would love to see a step by step classroom setup to teach us newbies on how to set up a Word Press blog, add responder forms to it, set up our autoresponder to respond to it and then how to ping it and draw traffic into it. Give us a complete syllabus so to speak in advance of the video series along with all necessary links to access resources to create it, and then…. do it right in front of us, on video.
Do it in bite size videos and allow us to do it right along side the videos in a real time pace…If we can do it simultaneously, along side the classroom videos, I believe there will be a tremendous response to this teaching method.

Thanks for letting me give my suggestion.
    Go GVO…!!!

  • Without having gone through all the comments/replies here, and someone may have already suggested this, here’s my suggestion…

For each feature, have a separate page for it. On that page, have just the basic information about the feature. Have that information be very basic, maybe just say what that feature does. Then, either at the end of the information/content, or on the side, have a link to an intermediate level explanation of the feature (and/or how to implement it). On that page, have a link to the advanced strategies/information for those who are ready for that level. Perhaps, on each page, a link back to the levels prior might be warranted as well.

One other thing, the videos are great (no doubt), but also have text for each level. Also, consider being “concise” with the information, offer a link to a more detailed one, if the “newbie” (or anyone else for that matter) desires it.

    Be Well!
    ECS Dave

  • Joined GVO just over a week ago so here are my thoughts …

Having set up a JV blog with author Peter Field in Oct 2009, I realised how much there was to learn, so I’m thrilled with the tools and the training I’ve seen so far with GVO.

Would really find it useful to have a dedicated GVO mindmapping program. Maybe some default mindmaps to orienteer beginners around the site, then other mindmaps that could be used to suit an individuals needs as we progress (or for the more advanced user). Maybe the default maps could be changed easily by the user to suit her/his needs. This would help with goal setting and the focus needed in something which could be very overwhelming!

The mindmaps could be double sided, ie the products/services on one side with the second side for those interested in MLM, affiliates, monetising their web/blog, etc.

A video training session explaining the purpose and benefits of mindmapping with how to use them effectively would be needed. In short,a step by step mindmap with video training.

Very enthusiastic about what I see so far, including the GVO community and excited about the future here.

    Well done GVO!

    Cathie Brown

  • Hi Joel, first, congratulations for you and all the team.

I find very useful all the applications that are part of the GVO kit, as I live in Perú, and people is spanish spoken, it would be great to find templates and other services in spanish, of course, if I can help in that way, you can count on me.

    Regards,

    Luis.

  • I have read alot of the responses and there is alot of good feedback but I figured I would leave my two cents:

GVO can go in many directions but there are certain things I think we could focus on and I will mentioned them here.

    1. Since it is already an auto responder I believe it wouldnt hurt to go into the realm of contact database management. Essentially every GVO member could store all their contacts on your servers with all additional contact information.

    2. Have an easy editor for the lead generation forms or just a wide range of forms to include Fname, Lname, Email and Phone #.

    3. I was very impressed with a service somebody used to try and prospect me and I thought that this would be the last ultimate tool GVO would need to give any internet and network marketer 100% satisfaction. I know there maybe some expensive equipment required to give this service or it could even be cheaper than I know but the fact is I dont know enough about it but I know it can be profitable.

It was a lead calling service that plays the person who answers the phone (or voicemail) a recording of the “prospector” talking and promoting you to leave a message if you would like to find out more information. What i gather was that you would then wait to see how many recordings/voice notes you got from people wanting to hear more about what you have to offer.. If GVO could offer a service like this then it would entice any business owner/affiliate to use GVO to build their business as close to autopilot as possible.

Just a few of my ideas and I am sure I could come up with more… I hope this was of help to you guys.

P.S. I think GVO is an essential tool for any Internet marketer.. I love it!

  • Hi Joel, thank you for your entusiasm.

    The autoresponder is very good.
Only you must enable the next feature in the autoresponder:

I would like to put (firstname) in the subject area to
    personalize any email.

    Regards,

    Jose RSaez

p.d. I agree with LUis that it would be great to find templates and other services in spanish.
    I am from Mexico.

  • 1. Joel, I would like to see more educational videos on how to work with CPanel X to import domains, webites, blogs (wordpress, Blogger).

    2. I would like to see an easier web builder that makes blogs easy and to insert php codes for incentives (like WPincentice).

3.Have to be trained once more to insert the kiosk/HC software into my websites and blogs.

    4. Mentioning some conversion software to bring my (German stile) videos, PPT and ADS Presentations into conference rooms and show videos to handle it.

    5. Could not find a way to export my EVP downline and bring it into GVO Titanum EVP and eresponder. A GLOSSAR would be helpful to find FAQ´s.

    6. A hotline (not only ticket or contact on Conference room) to get guided assistance in simple steps and one for advanced problem solving and trouble shooting.

    7. Re-cover the Discussion groups in FORUM (like Kiosk HC has), so that more readers give information to others.
The German FORUM was only randomly frequenced, maybe the English spoken is more useful.

    8. Make it possible to add “small smart testimonies” into the GVO application of Downline witness. Could help beginners and “stand it through all difficulties- developers” to encourage.

    9. Not everyone can stand the high-level push pace race, so even the slower users have to be cared for.

    10. Because of the Global Opportunity it needs to cross cultural barriers and time lacks of internet exploration.
E.G. for INDIANs it´s essential, they use home based PC both and internet coffee´s (that have been decreased in developed countries one generation before!) and not all have Amex or Visa card.
Because it´s a huge market ( i am concentrating on ), it would be helpful to offer smart solutions, using paypal button and are working even on older types of browser and “coppermine PC´s”.

  • Hi Joel, Mike

First off all let me say what a great oppurtunity and value for money the GVO oppurtunity is and how pleased I am that you guys want to keep making it better.

The trouble is you guys have expanded your minds and as Joel said you can’t contract so it’s really difficult for you to see what a newbie,or even people with moderate skills and knowledge really needs. I know it’s not that you don’t care its just that you’ve forgotten the individual steps you take to do something

What I suggest you do is employ a sample group of complete newbies or possibly various skill levels and get them to go through the GVO signup process, and training system and fully document every step they take, every mistake they make, every question they ask, and every question you ask ie why haven’t they uploaded those files – answer Oh they don’t know. Plus you must allow for the fact most people comming in are part time marketers and have full time jobs – what i mean to say here is that when you write up the self paced structured training course later you can allocate sensible goals ie Day 1 do this, Week 2 do this etc but be generous with the times as we dont want to discourage anyone. I also reccomend that you do this for all areas of the GVO oppurtunity ie affiliate team building, webhosting reseller, how to set up your own online store blog membership site etc

You could also customise the members area so that you wouldn’t irritate people who are interested only setting up their own business or only in webhost reselling or whatever other options you make available by having buttons which turn off various options. You could also do this with skill level so that beginners don’t get overwhelmed the more advanced members can focus only on what they want. but still making all options available in a customize your member area link.

People could then taylor GVO to their own individual needs which I feel would give it a much broader appeal in the first instance and a much greater retention rate there after.

I also think you should stay away from terms like mlm, network marketing and dowline – substite these with section, affiliate and team for example or any other better terms by all means.

Also please could you try and tweak the video streaming settings on both this blog and the GVO sales pages as for me the are very choppy at best. I connect via adsl 1856kps downstream and 448kps upstream and am in th uk. So others with even slower speeds would probably find them really annoying. Could I suggest not autoplaying but still streaming so that by the time people click to play the video it will play smoothly .

Thats all I can think of for now for now I would just like to thank you Joel and all GVO team for this oppurtuniy and for allowing us to be involved in making GVO better.

    Kind Regards & Best Wishes

    Shawn

  • If you are going to offer “all inclusive” then it has to be all inclusive! I was disappointed to find out that you lack a quality software set up for maintaining a regular opt-in client newsletter. I am not talking about a marketing autoresponder here, but rather, something along the lines of iContact or Constant Contact. A really good professional and easy to use newsletter software whose function is to solely develop ongoing client relationships.

When I asked support about this in the chat box, they simply said, “sorry, we do not have that and have no plans for it.” What? If I am going to put my lot in with GVO then I expect a more open minded appraoch than that. One of the reasons I was interested in your service is the “everything you need to market online under one roof” appraoch. Well, if I have to go on paying $50 a month for ConstantContact even after I have been sold on the umbrella concept… then that is definitely not everything under one roof.

Also, as an experienced marketer, I find yours system (after 2 weeks examination) to be too much about selling itself (the mlm side of what you are doing.) The emphasis is disproportionate. I am not looking for something else to sell (although I would mention it from time to time to people who ask me if I know of a good resource) but rather I am seeking a system that will enable and empower me in further building my current business’s. (the everything under one umbrella idea.) If it starts to feel like this is just another mlm I need to push, then I lose interest…

Those are just my two cents. I hope they are useful… I do not mean any disrespect – I think you’ve got a cool system. Had it included a newsletter software function I would have been sold from the very first day of my 14 day trial.

As it is I will hang around for another 14 days to see what more I can learn. Thanks for the offer…

    cheers-
    Jim

  • Hello Joel and Mike,
Thanks for giving us an opportunity to share our views. I agree with the other newbies and you as the Members Page is overwhelming to a newbie. As you said, this same principle applies to entering any new industry you want to learn, be it medical school, Real Estate Investing or Network Marketing. Everyone is not on the same level at orientation. Therefore, may I suggest setting the Members Page up like university and allow newbies to enter a Freshman section with the option to enter any section such as the Masters section to see where we are going. As we develop our skills we can choose to enter the next level or skip to any section. I am a Xango and Salu International distributor and have enough experience to know this is an excellent tool and I want to use it for my NWM on-line business. I just have figured out how to do all the stuff available to me. It is just another education process and I am happy to be part of your team. Regards, Saquina

  • Joel,

I want to be able to use your GVO auto responder & also your emailer for websites I have hosted with other companies. Is it doable?

  • Wow What great comments and sugestions. Having read several you guys will have your hands full selecting and implementing those that will be of the most benefit to everyone.

With that said here are a few of my suggestions and wishes

    1. A better WYSIWYG Editor. The one you have is difficult to use. For instance to get emails to format properly I have to write the email put into another HTML editor copy the code and then paste into the html section of your editor… way to amny steps. Plus when it comes to your templates you cannot see the whole template in the editor.

    2. Some email templates for things like news letters would be very helpful

    3. We have this great website Hosting ability. Why not have pre designed templates that we can use to set up our own web hosting service?

    4. The ability to export leads from the autoresponder in the stand alone EVP to the GVO eResponder

    5. A way to track the effectiveness of each template in our prospecting system. Currently no matter which template we use they all come under the same campaign name “Prospecting”

    6. Just a wish .. I think Xsite Pro and GVO are a match made in heaven. Some sort of cooperative relationship could prove extremly valuable for all.

OK have other wishes but most covered in other posts. Love what GVO is doing and has done so far

  • There needs to be moressupport for us setting up our domains for the first time on the GVO hosted site. I filed a change of DNS with my previous provider, and cannot find the place to set up my new site so it will be active when the change goes through.

  • Hello Joel, I already responded here but see many great comments, I already asked if we could have an easy website builder, one point I saw is that many big marketeers that use gvo dont use the responder and use the likes of aweber, I use aweber and I also use an easy website builder, I am on the trial at moment and like the fact that all services rolled into one.

Its hard for me to give up my easy website builder as I get 10 free websites for small 3 monthly fee and use aweber.

I find the responder ok and certainly cheaper it will be when my list builds, I do love easy video producer a I mentioned before.

What I do need is website traffic and results in other words money in my pocket.

Not one guru has done it anyone I know yet so the info in your training series is very good.

Also, why is there no conference room avaialable in peoples account when they sign up for the trial..just wondering.

Anyway, I like gvo and the fact all the tools rolled into one and want to keep using the gvo tools, but I also need to keep the website builder I am using at moment and aweber autoresponder is good but moneywise gvo is best option when my mailing lists builds big.

Just that many people will not optin these days

Well look forward to your next blog

    keep up the good work

    Pat

  • Just something I’ve noticed with the “Your Leads” section. It would be nice if we had a lookup for a specific lead by email or name option to remove them a little easier than going from page to page to find them. The reason is that some have chosen to become part of the downline and need to be removed vs. being sent additional traffic to become part of the GVO Team. Thanks!

  • I would like to see you all create a more attractive video player. Is it possible that you all just use Flow Player as the actual player and you all just do the hosting?

  • I tried to send you an Email there other day, Thanks Joel these program are great, I one of the newbies, but I took action like Marshel Sylver said hope spelled his name right,
You will have agreat time here in Vegas, one of these days I will be able to take one of the Course that marshell was talking about.
You an Mike keep on the great work you are doing, make freind all over the world,
    Thanks

  • HI GUYS

RE….SEMINAR ON MARCH 27-28TH RED ROCK HOTEL

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CANT GO BECOUSE OF HEALTH WILL THOSE PEOPLE
    MISS OUT

AS I AM ONE OF THEM

I AM IN THE LAST STAGE OF EMPHYSEMA SO WHAT HAPPENS NOW

    THANKS

  • Joel,
I love your service but as someone stated above, I am not making money yet as I build my website and social media sites. I am getting closer to completing my blog and would love it if you could show a training video on how you designed your custom nav bar on this blog and how it was uploaded in order to work with WordPress. I have a customized theme that is flexable but adding a custom nav bar is what I would like to do to complete the design

  • I would like to see the ability to signup for a eresponder by email.
If those capabilities are there then instructions how to achieve that.

  • Hi Joel:
Was just using EVP, and I am wondering if we could have the ability
to add text to our videos, such as a link that we want to display
while our video is running. I have been told that you can do that in Windows Media Player, although I haven’t gone there to learn how. That would be a great additional marketing tool on our videos.

Love your video blogs, and Mike has really relaxed(lol)since the 1st onesome time ago. Phenomenal package, and it just keeps getting better.

    Thanks a bunch…

  • The tools that GVO offers are excellent for the seasoned marketer. The problem, though, is that the bigger number of subscribers falls in the newbie arena, who are mass recruited by these experts. The newbie comes in, begins to watch these awesome tools, is overwhelmed, and can’t make money quick enough to cover the monthly subscription!

I would like to see a clear step by step system that is able to take the newbie by the hand and walk him through the very first steps on how they can use one or two of these tools to make their first $40 dollars, or so,in record time.

  • A manifesto explaining how to use GVO to set up a simple business or an empire.

  • This can become a great system, if you will add training in direct response marketing to the mix. Promoting the GVO services is fine. Also tell people what it takes to market their own products and services, and you will have a winner. That is what these tools are made for, after all.

  • Wow.

After reading some of these comments, I feel less alone.

When I first signed onto GVO a few nights ago, it was with some skepticism. Why? Because pretty much every GVO review site was a fake review site set up in order to gather affiliates.

That’s the problem with MLM and affiliates–they destroy the integrity of review websites, since their aim is to earn affiliate commissions. In this case, truth becomes the back seat driver to commerce.

In any case, after some thought, I signed up to GVO.

Immediately after signing up, I became even more skeptical. Why? Well, all the OTO (one time offers) that surfaced.

After experiencing difficulties with GVO, in particular with:

    1. Log-in
    2. Domain name redirects
    3. Hosting manager conflicts

I am probably going to leave GVO and instead choose a dedicated and reliable (less buggy) hosting provider that allows for WP themes, and uses Fantastico.

The problem with any GVO is that it is an MLM, so in order to make money, you need to sell memberships in your downline. This presents so many justifications ethically, because your desire to make money can sometimes overpower your desire to present the truth.

Years ago, I signed up to Manna Tech, an MLM company, to the tune of around $1,000 dollars. At the time, I was hesitant, and for good reason. Why? You don’t need Manna Tech to be healthy. Instead, just eat lots of raw food, fresh water, be active (spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally). In order to make money, I was encouraged to recruit others to join Manna Tech, to sign up in my downline. It didn’t happen, because I did not believe in it. Therefore, I was being congruent.

The problem with GVO, and the ethical dilemma it presents is this: Once you are paying the monthly fee, even if you are not using it, you are going to do your best to dress it up and get others to join, so you can make money from it.

Being part of an MLM is like being a pharmacist that has a lavish lifestyle, in that the pharmacist convinces himself that he is selling medications that actually help his customers, when instead, he is keeping them sick in order to maintain his comfortable lifestyle.

Joel seems like a nice guy, but at the end of the day, I’m not even sure if he’s convinced of the strength of his product, or whether the adornments that accompany such a product have convinced him of something it is not.

  • Hi Joel:

I just signed up and in still the trial run. What I have seen so far is that you take a personal interest in the people that join you. I especially like your news update and make it fun too. Let me be honest with you. You are not new but GVO is. I once had signed up when you were still Kiosk. I even spent the money for your boot camp at that time. One of the problems that I found were that your instructional video’s were not easy to follow, especially the whm. I was new then too. I was eager to learn but I found it difficult and I just could not grasp the instruction. Anyway, it was too hard for me. I don’t know if others had the same problem. I have seen other businesses out there that had excellent videos and tutorials which were so much easier to follow. So, I am taking a crack at this one more time. I just hope that you will publish easier videos and tutorials to help the newbie. So far, What strikes me most is you and your staff being very personable which I can see by your news videos. This I like because it presents a human side of what you offer. I hope you can send me a letter giving me some pointers. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work.

    Best regards,

    Mel

  • Joel,

I don’t know if you’ve read the GVO manual, but it reads as if it was written by a 3rd grader. Broken sentences, poor grammer, etc. I realize it was probably outsourced, but if we are going to invite business clients to join, the manual is a poor “first impression.”

    • Honestly

I dont even know who wrote it. It could have been someone in our Ukriane office. I know I am responsible to oversee everything so Ill take a look today. Thanks for the heads up
