  • Need a Mac Version. That would make it very competitive.

Kiosk is very good. Maybe add more internet marketing features

  • Hi Joel;
The absolute best program, company, and support team, online today is KIOSK. There are several ways to promote it but I think it best to keep it simple. I joined nearly four years ago and signed up for 30 days for $1 on the promise of up to 60 hours of monthly training. To be quite honest I fully expected to leave about day 28 to insure you never got the second months payment!

What I found is an amazing company, wonderful support, and a great deal more than what I expected.

It’s always better to under promise and over deliver. Kiosk & Hot Conference do that in so many ways.

Today I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

  • Sorry as a new customer/newbie overall, I don’t currently have the experience of “Hot Conference” to enable me to comment. I do know that I did have to recently subscribe to a program called discover Cpanel, as it was much easier for me personally to understand and follow with regard to the basics of navigating the afore said. Kindest Regards – Graham Price.

  • Hey Joel,

    Very cool video..
    Mac version would be killer.

Also I would do much more training videos on how to get started for both services. Most people prefer video content so I would use it extensively.

    Talk soon, Lasse

  • Hi Joel!
    HotConference is great!
Here is a feedback I want you to give:
Many of our customers use Macs and Linux operating systems, it would be very much important to support linux systems. I am thinking about the future. Ubuntu (Linux) is getting more usual these days!
Best wishes to you from germany!!

  • My problem is not with the Kiosk product(s). My problem is getting traffic (targeted) to the sites.

  • Hi Joel,
Is there a community chat forum somewhere that I have missed?
I am at a stop still, cannot follow how to add extra pages to a site, where exactly to add the files, so many abbreviations instead of understandable names, how to move the index file from the presently publc viewable folder to a storage spot for later use, and place a new site with many pages in its place.
If I have written this to confuse you, I am sorry, thats how confused and perplexed I am.
Thank you so much for all the help I constantly get from you, you are Ace!
    Cheers, Freda

  • Hi Joel,
A professional series of email messages hosted by Kiosk so its always upto date and accurate but any sign up forms automatically embeds the members id in any links in the messages. The means to add a link of your own to syphon off those interested to your own website or list would be a useful addition. A few Gurus do an affiliate email newsletter which contains a members DI. If kiosk did the same it would be easy to promote without the worry to keep everything up to date and also the possibility of false spam complaints to deal with. Some good landing pages the form can be added to would be a useful addition. That way any promotion message kiosk cares to send to the signups will also automatically contain
    affiliate links.

    Regards

    Rob

  • HC: is it possible to capture, attendees, video screen and audio, and text chat entries with one download?

KIOSK: I am too new to make suggestions here, but 🙂 I can not find another hosting that offers such a large back office. The learning curve has been huge for me, but that is me.

  • HC: interactive whiteboard; seletion of skins; higher quality video on DTS

  • Hi Joel,

I agree with other posts about Mac versions.

The video training provided is helpful. Could you add more on creating landing pages and marketing. Understandably, the bootcamp covers this, but maybe mini bootcamp video training. My feeling is too many of us just don’t know how to market. If you can’t do that, it doesn’t matter how great the product or service your providing. Kiosk and HC should rank right up there!

Kiosk – upgrade features for additional space and bandwith as needed. Any thought as to making this an incentive discount for people developing downline and customers? (0-25 10%, 26-50 15%, 51 >20%) No idea what actual numbers would be, but a thought.

    Hot Conference –
    1. Can you add screen shot capture saving along with the audio file?

    2. Would it be possible to integrate online messengers directly into a conference room?

    3. Increase the 25 desktop sharing or 100 guest in a room, can that be on an as needed basis?

Just a few thoughts for now. Keep up the great work!

  • Joel,

One other thing, is there a Product and Feature suggeston form available through Support?

Maybe I have missed it, but it would allow for continuous input.

  • Hi Joel,

Adding a phone line – listen in – feature would be awesome.

Adding more disc space and bandwidth to the Titanium account in order to be competitive. Many web hosts out there are offering hundreds of G’s of web space and terabytes of bandwidth for less than the Titanium account is currently set at. It’s really difficult to compete with that.

Just my 25 cents worth (inflation, you know.. LOL).

To your Health, Wealth and Success.

  • One Amazon EC2(computer cloud) would be a “killer app” because Amazon is alone in this area: hosting for custom pre-employed Appliances and you can have a menu with some appliances with diferent Linux´s flavors: like UBUNTU SERVER, Gentoo, Debian, CentOS, etc…

And pay-per-usage(hourly) would be awesome, too.

  • hiya Joel. As you know Hot conference has been a highlight in my life for some time now. I enjoy HC, and have for some time as well. What i would like to do is help you folks on marketing. We have a confrence room of yours, and we train others on marketing concepts, and offer some tools to help YOUR people grow their hc businesses. No this is NOT a scam, it is just a long time HC member, tyring to help othes on how to market their hc businesses. IF you are interested, please check out my link at: http://www.cmu7.com/su/0m8/
You can sign up for FREE, and get some of the tools I spoke of, plus, if you want to chat with some marketing folks who are there willing to help you and folks at HC, then by all means to go: http://www.cmu7.com/conference.exe
    Thanks Joel.

  • I think that there should be an option for new people to Kiosk to have a simple instant website builder, so simple they will tell people about and one that brings traffic.

The support was always good with Kiosk but I think there should be an option to change your sponsor if they dont help you in some way.

I liked the Kiosk hosting for the good templates you could use and would like the hot conference and other programs but means different monthly fees, if I only using kiosk then I lose commissions if someone signs up for one of the other programs.

  • Hi Joel,

Thanks for the opportunity to include feedback.

My suggestion for Kiosk.ws would be to overhaul and improve the SuperSponder System. To be able to offer hosting which included a modern, reliable, professional autoresponder system to manage lists and mailings would be awesome.

Thanks for listening. That is what makes this company great.

  • Don’t mave a clue as what KIOSK or hotconference are. Already have a business I’m very happy with, so have not been looking or requesting info anywhere. All of a sudden your email shows up directing me here.
As far as your question, I am obviously not in a position to comment on ‘wanted features’.
However am ALWAYS looking for ways to leverage my time and money, automating as much as possible and increasing traffic and conversions. Not much else. If your stuff helps in these areas, send info, else not.

  • As this is my first visit and I don’t even know what you’re offering, I think I can almost guarantee that your web-hosting package is the same as most others out there where you have to FTP all your pages from your computer in a fandangled, high-folutin’ way.

Most beginners get totally confused by the “C-Panel”. It sends you all over the place, EXCEPT where you want to be.

YAHOO on the other hand have a system called ‘Sitebuilder’. If you’ve never tried it out, you ain’t lived.

Construct your web page infront of your eyes, preview it in your browser, (just one click). When you’re happy, you name the page and then press the little ‘publish’ button.

Ten seconds later, and your page, or your pages, are live.

    Simple, to the point, failsafe.
Do that to your system and you hit GOLD with all the NEW internet users, many of them ‘Babyboomers’ like myself who get very easily confused by technology. Take the technology away and you’ve got one of the BIGGEST spending demographics in the world today, clamouring to sign up.

    Catch you later,

    Pete.

  • Hi Joel
I have just join your program and from what I seen so for you have a great program,I think people are looking for traning on how to build and put a great Website on the net and learn how to drive traffic to their site. I have been whating the net lately all I see is people wanting to sell some Internet program for $2,000 the average person can’t afford that kind of cost I see program on coaching and the membership sites $20to 100 a month and they are not geting much for there money.I joined so many program start of great then they change everything go up on the monthly cost people can’t afford all the cost.I have seen so many people failing in Internet Marketing they would have been better off doing Network Marketing they could have made money I think some of the Guru are taking advange of the people that are trying to make it on the net! I know I have bought over $5,000 dollars in ebook’s software and marketing system and still have not figture out what it takes to make it on the Net.I know you need a list of 5,000 to 10,000 people to mail your offer to with a list you are not going to make any money unless you find a JV to market their list to.So Show the people how to get on the net and make money period.

  • Hi Joel,The Kiosk Web Hosting Service offered is in my opinion one of the best of the market but, quiet expensive in comparison of what other serious and well known companies are offering.1) It could be intresting to offer a 10 to 25 seats conference room instead of a 3 seats2) Add a Master Resell Rights Package to show people they can start to make money online quickly.3) Be more explicit (maybe add some more videos) for the use the WHM, Downtime Witness,…4) Include a step by step process (pdf and videos) to help new user to start with their account.5) Include a step by step course about how to better use their hosting to promote the Kiosk affiliate program.I know it seems a lot but most of the Newbies don’t know where and how to start. Helping people to start online is also a way to build authority, relationship. We are promoting our and your business, it’s a sharing winning situation for all of us. The more money we make, the more money you make. Your commission plan is one of the best I’ve seen but the conversion rate could be improved. As customers, we always want to get the best value of what we are paying for.I hope this will help and I can’t wait to see what you’re planing for the future.
    All the bestMarc

  • Hello Joel, great video…As user and customer I think it’s intresting to rememberwhen we’ve signed up for our webhosting account.
Kisok, for my point of vue is one of the best Web Hostingcompany in terms of reliability and customer support. In term of pricing it is not the same. Some very goodcompanies are offering cheaper plans with more disk spaceand bandwith for unlimited domain.
If you want to keep your rates, you could increase thebonuses in the 3 plans.
    A) Add some more videos and explanations for:
    1) WHM
    2) Downtime Witness (this one is very confusing)B) Increase the conference seats from 3 to 10 or 25 forthe platinum package. It will help a lot to recruit.Including, why not, some marketing tools (pay plan, videos, graphics, …)
    C) Create 3 Starter PDF course
    1) How to setup your whm
    2) How to start your business with the Kisok affiliate
program from your account using the features available
in cPanel and in the kiosk member area.
(This is very confusing for most of the beginners)
    3) Step by step promoting system for beginners with a
downline builder integrated to help to streamline
all the efforts of your affilites.D) Add (for example) a free MRR package downloadable
after the 1$ month trial period to give something
to start with for the new members. As customer we are always looking to get the best value ofwhat we are paying for. By helping us in our marketing effortsyou will make more money and we will get more commissions.Affiliate programs have always been a win-win situation.
By Underlining the quality of the product and the support, adding some more tempting bonuses, maybe some moretestimonials, you will increase the conversion rates.
    I hope this will help.Have a great rewarding day.Marc.

  • Ditto the request for a Mac version of HotConference. Would programing be a bit easier with the new Intel Macs? I don’t run Windows on my Mac.

And, is there a members forum somewhere where members could ask for help? Kiosk offers so much, but I haven’t used half of it because I get lost. I need help of the member-to-member, been there/done that sort, not worthy of a support ticket.

    Thanks.

  • HI Joel
It’s super working with such a great company. After a few years of “stuck in a rut” I’m launching a few next sites over the next few months. I was disappointed to discover the SuperAffiliate script which I thought was lifetime is now obsolete and a new script is coming soon. However as I need it now for 3 sites I need to forsake Kiosk & buy licenses elsewhere. I’m impressed with the new Promo Tools script your adding to the new programs & just wished you would make it available to kiosk members (like right now). Wilson Cowden

  • Thank you Joel for a wonderful work you keep going to make kiosk #1 host and business opportunity.
My comment is not about kiosk or hotconfernce, but about inutrition about to be launched. Though I have been onlinefor quite a long time – since 1997, but I have never made any serius mone yet, because I never gave it the attention it required. Now I am ready to take it to the next level with inutrition.
I plan to launch my inutrition business at the same time your launch it to the public, but need your help. I bought Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula 2.0 and I intend to use it to lauch inutrition. I dont know if you as an experienced marketer can create a series of content rich videos that we can send to our list prior to the lauch with a survey questionaire about what product/s they will like to see or are interested in(for the list to design their on product). After this we can all launch together and create a big bang in the market. I believe we all will b more sucesful this way rather than each doing t their own way.
I hope, my request is given a close and quick attetion.

Thank you again for a great job

  • Hi Joel,
    1) I would like to see “Video Conferencing” feature offer in HotConference. In today hi-tech society, people are now seeing each other “faces” on the phone, ipod and computers… Why not offer small businesses tha do training or discussion with the capability of both side seeing each other.
    2) The other suggestion is to have a “eWhite Board” available in HC. This will give trainers opportunity to write things that they want to illustrate better.
    3) As regard to training session, be “global”, try and find a “time frame” that you could compromise. Not 2pm or 3pm EST where it is 2am or 3am for those in the other side of the globe.
    Francis Tay – google me:)

  • Joel, Mac/Linux versions of HotConference is a priority as I’ve lost a lot of customers because they’re not running Windows.

When I signed up a few years ago, VOIP telephone was going to be released “within a few months” but never happened. VOIP is really taking off.

    Kiosk – increase disk space.
Competitors are offering higher storage for less money than Kiosk.

I also suggest that more focus is made on the HotConference/Kiosk platforms rather than spend a lot of time bringing in new stuff such as iNutrition, etc.

  • Signed back in, the proplem was on my side, my cat was sleeping behind the computer and pulled the plug.
I like the room, I don’t think you need to change anything, it picked up my web-cam, nice room, thank you for the free trial. Albanyleone

  • Ok Joel I just got your invitation to comment, frankly I am not well educated on what you have to offer exactly, but my take is your video conferencing set up.

You looked very professional doing youe video and it was well rehersed as well. The thing I have the problem with is why not just become a speaker in a convention or do live performances?

If your going to go to all the trouble, (to do the video) may as well go a step further right?

That’s why I do opt in e-mail and sell via my website is because I am not a speaker, (a good one anyway). I also have no desire to reherse my performance (as I am a perfectionist and would never be happy with my video appearance). So…

I am a misfit right? Well I am open to your suggestions. Thanks, Scott…

  • hi Joel;
I agree with Rashid a Macs and Linux operating systems. is very important to support a linux systems. until you get away from windows as I have you don’t understand the opportunity that you are missing their is country’s that don’t use windows and if you supported linux you would open a whole new revenue stream for hotconference it is worth your time to look at ubuntu it is gaining popularity http://www.ubuntu.com/

  • Hi Joel,

I would like to have a simple customer signup form that I can cut and paste into my own sales page for the web hosting.

I really like the control panel and think I can do a good job with my own custom sales page/squeeze page to get sign ups rather than having to direct people to the main kiosk sales page which I don’t personally like the look of.

Embedded videos that don’t link away would be nice marketing materials to have too.

    Have an awesome weekend,
    Andy

Joel, Kiosk is a great company and the support of the members is unbelievable. Everyone is willing to help when a member does not have the knowledge to complete an internet task. I thank my lucky stars, I found Kiosk. I don’t know if the advertising is too flashy but it is hard to encourage people to sign up.
Please keep trying and I will too.

  • Hi Everyone, I really do appreciate all this feedback. I am going to find the common denominators here.

Maybe I am smelling unlimited everything for the titanium package? 😀

I better talk to the head of our tech team Jamie Savard before we do that!

Joel I’m new to the internet I’m now really sure what it is that I need to do first. I’m still working out how to set up a web site. I’m having trouble getting the site up and running? Gary Atkinson (garyatkinson@earthlink.net) garylatkinson.com

  • I totally agree that you need
    a Mac version of HotConference.
It would really expand our opportunity
as the youth of today are all using
Macs as well as many entrepreneurs.

I need to look over HC features
a little more as I have not used
    it in awhile.

As far as Kiosk, we need a couple
of things. We need the ability
to customize our double opt in
    message sent to potential subscribers
    to get them to confirm.

Also, a great feature would be to
let website visitors be able to
interact with the site owner or
manager live by showing if we are
online then clicking a link to go
into chat or into a conference room
with us or one or our staff members.

Hope this helps! Love all the great
stuff that you guys are doing!

    To Success,

    Joseph Parton

  • Joel,

You and your support staff are wonderful! You keep giving us more and more besides just webhosting, which is great to begin with. The only thing I would say is perhaps sending a welcome email to new members with instructions on what to do first and next in a step by step fashion, perhaps with hyperlinks. The biggest complaint I get about Kiosk from my downline is where do I start and how do I do it? Can you walk me through it step by step? I am new and none of the lingo they are using makes sense to me”. It is too complicated”.

Is there something we can do for the new people coming in to make it easier for them? I realize you have training videos and audios and everything else, but maybe people need to be directed to them in a welcome email or something.

Keep updating the marketing tools and giving people more ideas for marketing. You are doing a great job!

  • I use Hotconference to interact and give presentations to traders. Here are a few thoughts:
It would be nice when in desktop sharing mode for people to still be able to type in chat comments. Many of my subscribers do not have microphones and need to type comments but are unable when in desktop sharing mode.

Next, I find that sometimes the desktop sharing mode works and other times it doesn’t. It makes it hard to schedule a presentation that depends on this feature working. I don’t know what it would take to resolve the problem but it would certainly add more value to the product.

  • Hi Joel,

Thanks for asking us to share. A Mac version would make life so much better for spreading Hot Conference.

    Billie

  • Hi Joel,
First of all thanks you very to give us the opportunity to share with you our suggestions! This is very important for us and for you.
About HotConference I found three main areas to work on: Training, Marketing Tools, and Languages.
    Training.
    1. Video tutorials.
    Marketing tools.
    1. Landing pages
    2. Banners
    3. Email templates
We don’t have just anything in this two areas.
    Languages.
It is very, but very important to automate the translation to the main languages. Specially new offers and back office. HotConference and Kiosk are global companies!

  • Hi Joel
I think your Kiosk hosting has a lot to offer If you add Cpanel training video’s to your program I think more people would be willing to join the Kiosk hosting program.I am now using Hostgator hosting they are ok for beginners just starting in the internet marketing.I know you have a marketing plan that pays people to market your Kiosk which is find but I have found people are lazy they don’t want to work, They want you to do the work for them so they don’t have to.I think if you market the Kiosk in two programs 1. Market the hosting at lower price say $39.00 build more vaule into the hosting package more people would want to use your Hosting Service. 2.Offer the Hotconference as a program by it’s self make Hotconference optional I don’t know that you would want to do this or not I have been Network Marketing for a while I feel we have to get back to networking one on one have meeting’s with our people. In Internet Marketing people are doing 2 Tier marketing 5% good at doing Internet Marketing 95% are failing losing all their money going broke Joel we got to change that by offering a program that the average person can make money marketing on the Net.

  • I have been with Kiosk for awhile now after trying many different hosts. I am a
Titanium subscriber and love it. I recently joined a program called How to sell webhosting headed by some Kiosk affiliates. I really thought that may be the answer but it soon turned into another affiliate program about internet marketing not selling webhosting. We need some of the big gun affiliates that can set up a program to Stone Evans PIPS program. He has made Host4profit do quite well. This would probaly need to be a super affiliate that all Kiosk affiliates could use.

It would appear to me that webhosting and support is very competitive, but our weakness (affiliates) is in marketing the product.

I have the new product for my affiliate site at http://wisebizhosting.com which I think is great but there is no capture page with automated follow up and of course on that page I can not add it.

  • Joel:

[1]First off, I respect Kiosk’s focus on becomming the best in the business. So much of what you do is outstanding — you strive for excellence and in many areas you achieve it.

[2]Please help me find my primary account info — [a] When is the renewal date and how much will it be?

[3] In my opinion, the user interface is quite confusing.

[4]We need a toll free support phone line. At least if you had a USA line, we would not be charged a per minute fee when we call your support. You charge more than GoDaddy, and they have 24/7 phone tech support.

[5] Your conference room support is not so great.

[a} Attitude on the the part of certain of your support people is enraging — I’m not slow witted but, even if I were, I don’t expect a support person to tell me, “Front Page is no good,” when I’m trying determine how to get a site up. Later, after much frustration, Ilearned that your support person very likely knew the answer, but for some reason preferred to blow me off.

[5] I need to determine whether I should renew with Kiosk re a new site which I’m getting ready to mount. [a]It’s going to be a user input site, which I have good reason to believe will achieve a tremendous sustainable following in a short period of time. [b]I need to talk with blog and user content experts on the phone to determine what I need to get the site set up. This concept has a HUGE potential for advertising dollars. I don’t have the time or the patience to deal with the conference room with it’s limited accessability, or to go through your support desk — I have waited far too long for answers to simple questions from the support desk — to learn how to get this new project set up, or a least to determine whether Kiosk has the resources to support the next major social site, which is what my concept will very likely develop into.

Joel, your attitude, personally, is outstanding! I do believe that you are striving for excellence — to be the best! I respect that.

Whether or not Kiosk can help get this new project up and running remains to be seen. I do need to talk with you so that we can discuss it.

I can tell you this — if Kiosk does help get this site up and functioning, and decides to be a part of this highly profitable, world changing site, it will be of great benefit to both of us.

    Best regards, David 212 496-8649

First thank you for this invitation. I am not quite sure where I fit in all this, however, I do have a high regard for you Joel this then, is your established credability and is promulgated by the obsevations and actions of Mike Filsame. Therefore I thank you for this invitation.

First with Kiosk.ws . The most obvious thing to me is the lack of communication to the outsider. You tell me so clearly what you have to offer, indeed in this aspect you have done well. But there is nothing to tell me, a newby, how you can help me !!?

I think an introductory that connects the potential buyer with your products is the first order of business. This is a little more complicasted due to the strata system you have developed on site. Setting the newcommer at ease is another aspect to develop as often with well laid out pages, while an attractive layout, presents a certain sterile formality.

As to the HotConferenceRoom.com . I liked your video presentation at the building corner but the impression I received was ” Welcome to my parlor said the spider to the fly ?” Again you told me what it does and is capable of(the history was interesting from a technical stand-point)but not what it can do for me ! You have not tantilised my tast buds ! Mind you ‘conference rooms’ are not an easy subject to present to others, at the best of times. However, there are glimmers of some thing latent or in the hinterland from your speach that could spark interest.

I feel that in this case, based on my limited study, perhaps a brief and condensed presentation be made to entice those interested into the open. Then by a weekly newsletter introduce the aspects gradually extending the technical matter, also on a sliding scale, to cover the various knowlege bases of the recipients.

I trust that this will be of assistance to you in your quest as outlined in your introductory video.

My good wishes to you for the future – Kind Regards = Roy Harrison

  • Hi Joel,

Thanks for the opportunity to comment and vent, not rant.

After joining the Global Domains International network, I found your Kiosk network and joined with the intention of promoting both.

GDI promotes itself primarily as an mlm domain “registrar” (site building and 10 email addresses complete the package) and Kiosk promotes itself primarily as an mlm domain “host”. Both are a perfect match for my very long term goals.

A while back I attempted to set up my first Kiosk site after transferring a domain, but I was not prepared for how complicated your site building process is compared to the GDI Sitebuilder or the Trellix Sitebuilder.

After my excellent experience with the Trellix SiteBuilder on Web.com and on Earthlink.net, I guess everything else is difficult. Trellix SiteBuilder is “absolutely wonderful”!

The GDI Sitebuilder is easier to use than Trellix Sitebuilder, but it provides very little flexibility compared to Trellix and Kiosk.

The Kiosk sitebuilder and the tools provide more than what GDI offers, but Kiosk is much more difficult than GDI and Trellix SiteBuilder put together, it seems to me.

I have been involved in a rather long project, so when I joined your Kiosk network, I did it with the intention of promoting it next, after I become familiar with it, because I will be buying domains from Global Domains International and will be hosting them on Kiosk.

So, I am getting myself psyched up for the long learning curve to learn what Kiosk has to offer.

Previously I went through the complete members area and listened to and watched “all” that Kiosk provides, but it was more complicated than I expected, so I put it off for a while until I finish what I have been working on.

I am not familiar with Hot Conference, so I can’t comment at this time.

And Joel, I second the emotion of those who gave you a “verbal” pat on the back about your compassion and concern… and your support staff is definitely following your lead with their customer relations.

Thanks again Joel, for the opportunity to vent, not rant.

  • Hey Joel,

It’s been a long time – How are you my friend?

Regarding your Kiosk & HC questions, here is my two cents worth:

1st) You asked: “what if, just what if we had UNLIMITED EVERYTHING on our Kiosk.ws titanium package?” Well, I think that’s a no-brainer. If you actually implemented that feature, then Kiosk would certainly run rings around EVERY hosting outfit out there! Result: Global DOMINATION!!!

2nd) Hey man, what’s up with HC ‘skins’???? You will remember (as I use to pester you a little about it), I have been requesting and patiently waiting for different skins since the HC embrionic ‘beta testing’ days waaay back… when I still had hair!!! Are we ever going to see them, or should I relegate that wonderful and wishful picture to my subconscious for posterity’s sake? 😉

3rd) An intergrated IM system within each HC room would be awesome.

4th) A larger viewable (number of people) video capability in each HC room would be magical! Also, the possiblity of ‘drag-and-dropping’ say, 4 or 6 videos one at a time from the lower left corner panel, into designated areas in the main browser window, so they expand in size, thus becoming much CLEARER! The later is just a wild idea, bit considering the rapid advancement of technology, popularity of online ‘videos,’ together with the daily increase of wide screen monitors/laptops, it could be something to think about.

OK, enough of the requests. You guys are doing a great job so keep it up 🙂

And Joel, we’ll have to have a chat sometime soon, and you can also transfer some of that unecessary ‘skin’ you call muscle over to me. Oh, my, my… we’re back to skins again! I wonder why? Ha,ha!!!

OK… take care and speak soon.

Love and regards to you all in both Texas and Canada – and to ALL Kiosk/HC members as well :-)))

  • Hi Joel,
You must have got my email last night for me to get this link that quick!! Brilliant.
    1. Instead of inviting people to phone in, is it not possible to get a “Skype link” going especially for people who live long distance from Kiosk, like me in Romania, East Europe. Since I rejoined Skype last November the average daily number of people chatting live online has jumped from 8 million to 12 million – that is a 50% increase in just four months. It has a visual interface facility as well.
    2. Please let us see the structure of your org. somewhere so that we can better understand how it all fits together. Best Joe Boylan

  • I love Kiosk. Prior to my assoc. with Kiosk I had been with many hosting companies but have never been totally happy with them.
It is true, the QS to go site is difficult for people to work with it. I happen to be the queen of the WYSIWYG. There hasn’t been any except QS that I have not mastered in 10 minutes or less.
I have been teaching in the member’s room for almost 2 years now or maybe it is over and am very disappointed that the classes are not more widely publicized. Even a weekly email with the scheduled topics to be covered would be appreciated. We live in a very busy world and people need to be reminded.
I have also been disappointed that the opportunity meetings are no longer held in the public room. When you, Rodney or Chet was doing them on a regular basis it was so much easier to grow our business. Now there is no place to send people and new comers can’t explain the opportunity. Heck I am not a newcomer at all and have trouble with the facts and figures. I would honestly like to see them return and officiated in several languages.
I appreciate the blog at least there is some form of visual communication with you but it is not the same as your member’s meetings.
Anyway that is my two cents.

  • 1. It is my understanding that (worldwide) only 3 to 4% of people use MACs, so creating a MAC version of Hot Conference would seem to be a less than efficient use of programming time. Especially considering that the newer MACs are said to be fairly Windows compatible. With that said, creating a way for people to easily phone into a conference would be a great service to everyone who doesn’t have Internet access, as well as MAC owners.

    2. A way to interactively communicate when in desktop sharing is badly needed–possibly the capability to text chat.

    3. Also, the ability to conference with a streaming video would be nice.

  • Hi Joel,
I’m so glad you are doing this. I have sooo many ideas that I have been wanting to share with you, but I will try to be brief.

More training and a day schedule rather than a static one would be great. We have such talented members that are eager to share their knowledge, so why not let them. How awesome would it be to prospective customers to see a full schedule of events and classes!

As for features, video recording of the room, being able to temp share moderator functions with others, accessiblitiy for Mac users, if the DTS could be modified so that participants could still communicate with the mod ( maybe the DTS area not include the text area or list of people?). Ability to lock the room aft the meeting has started. These are all features that I have seen in other conferencing software.

There should be an option for those totally new to web hosting, maybe some turnkey reseller sites so they can get started right away. I am available to welcome new members and do an orientation to help them get started. This would cut down on the number of support tickets for the simple how-tos

Both the public and the member’s only room could easily be setup for 24/7 training and or marketing. Just have the home page of the rooms display a dropdown menu (1 for each HC & Kiosk?)of training audios and/or videos so that people can select what they would like to learn.

lastly, I live in San Antonio and am avail to meet with you or any of your staff anytime. I’ll help out anyway I can.

    Thanks.

  • Hi Joel;

Please add Unicode support to Hotconference software.

    Thank you

  • hi

I like what I have seen so far and have nearly jumped in but I would like your sitebuilder to be a little more friendly for semi beginners like us
