Make More Money Monday’s – If you don’t watch this blog, you are losing money!

Hi Everyone,

In today’s “Make More Money Monday’s” blog Mike and I discuss the biggest and most COMMON mistake people make with their website design.

UNFORTUNATELY..

It cost’s people thousands of dollars in sales and they don’t even realize it 🙁

If you would like us to give you constructive criticism about your site please post your site and comments on our blog below and we will call you and interview you live on our blog.

  • So, home page is not the place for commercials, huh?

how about turning it into a directory for those commercials?

i.e., one page per product or info-mercial

  • KIOSK set up my hosting page –
    – will that be available for modification in your plans?

  • Thanks for the tips. Looking forward to Mondays – can always use help in building my business!

  • Awesome stuff, this is one of the best videos I have seen in a long time in regards to website, blog lay out. It is so true, having distracting conflicting information on your webpage will chase visitors away Fast.

I see websites, even mini sites or squeeze pages that have large boxes or advertising banners that drop down out of no where and that is very distracting.

    Thanks Guys,

  • Dear Joel, you video hit me right into the eye.I have 2 blogs and one of them definitely has exactly the problem you are saying in this video.Due to the wrong KPs I am leading the prospects in the different directions. But the 2nd blog has above 30 unique visitors daily and I guess avoided the mistakes you mentioned, but…No sales at all.May you look briefly and tell what is wrong here at http://www.beginnerworkoutsecrets.blogspot.com
    Thank you so much!

  • MMM’s is mmmm mmmmgood! Tips appreciated.
    Thanks you!

  • Hi Guys,

That is one of the top issues I am struggling to fix on my membership site is to come up with a landing page that I market for the site.

I know exactly what you guys are saying is true. Just getting it setup and working is another story. So that looks like it could be another product for you.

    Easy Landing Page Producer.

With all the things that I know how to do and know the theory of ad copy is my weak point as well as webpage design.

So if I had an affordable service that I could fill out a few questions on a questionnaire and have them produce my landing page that would be great.

Maybe this is something you could incorporate in to EVP so that the landing page could not only capture leads but forward to the sign up or through to the sales process.

So if you would like to look at my site, its http://www.prosperitysociety.com

It’s meant to be a type of social networking membership site to help people become prosperous though business ownership, investing in real estate, and in options trading.

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks,

    Erik

  • Ok, I can handle some good constructive criticism, so go ahead; shoot. http://www.noagentswelcome.com I just finished changing background color for high rez monitors and the link colors suggested by August and I do have to redo my “Want to Buy” (sitemap) page.

I would love to watch your videos but on dial-up it’s hopeless.. Maybe a transcript of what is said would be VERY helpful for us poor saps on dial-up eh..

If any of your (blog) visitors would like to help me out by adding there “real estate” related business I do have a free listing, just fill in the form..

  • This video was the best yet. It gave me one of those aha moments, when I thought why didn’t I see this like a long time ago.
The aha moment was when I saw the word “clutter” I thought I have cluttered my mind with information all the “gurus??” giving me conflicting messages. Joel and Mike keep it simple, practical and easy to do. This is what I think if you are going to follow someone, follow someone who is successful and whatever they say “just do it” as they say in the commercials.

    Thanks guys

  • Hi Guys,

I’d really appreciate if you could take a look at my new proprietary integration and success duplication site.

    http://www.WebProSuccessTeam.com

I just launched it on Saturday and I’m concerned about conversions as it stands. I’m a software engineering student, so the back-end isn’t a problem, but I’m no designer… LOL. Should I maybe create a separate squeeze page?

    Thanks, love the tips,

    -Jerokiah

  • Thanks guys – good points!

  • Loved this! I was just looking at my site the other day and thinking “there’s too much junk here and it’s hard to read.” Plus, some of it is out-dated – product really no longer useful. I’d love suggestions! http://pbutterfly-wealth-builder.com
    Thanks!

  • Great Tip Guys. The banners work on my site I think. As it is the same target market. What do you think?

  • Joel, I’d love your comment.
Hey, this is a really valuable video.
Less is more – this is like dressing classy.

  • Thanks for your generousity. Just a newbie. Will appreciate your criticisms and advise.

However, I have not found it easy downloading the videos!

  • Joel, you need to contact me ASAP, no one is responding to my emails. Thanks! Steve

  • While i know it is lame to have many words and graphs on a site…what do you say about Keyword rich sites…IE mine is tiddled with them.

Comes from over 10 years online, you DON’T need search engine placements…your site will do it for you if you combine many things.

It doesn’t matter who thinks your site is ugly, it matters if the search engines find it.

    TRUE?

    Glen

  • Great stuff Joel. I will try to incorporate some of this into the next campaigns I put up online. Simpler is better.
