Dude … you NAILED it!
Mark 🙂
I’m going fishing!
What a great Vlog, guys! Jaime, you’re a genius! 🙂
It is so hard to walk away from the computer because there is just “one more thing” you can do, or one more person you can help before the day is over… and before you know it, it’s 2 AM and you wonder where the day went!
This was a funny but important reminder to “Step AWAY from the computer” (think booming cop like voice).
Janet Legere is on to something with her weekly TGIWWW day, right Janet?
I’m taking your advice this weekend and I’m going to give myself permission to simply relax! (well maybe just for an afternoon, lol)
Love you guys and can’t wait to see ALL the GVO members in San Antonio in October!

Hey Joel that is so Kule but Smile it’s TGIF I hear you, and isn’t good to know you are not the only one!

Joel, GREAT video and GREAT reminder to take care of ourselves. It is SO easy to get lost in our LOVE of this industry.
Thanks Joel, we love you!
(Mikey too 🙂

Don and I are off for a bike ride …
What a good reminder for everyone.
Don’t bring your laptop out there, only
iphone is allowed in case you want to
add a friend request in facebook while
your partner is in the restroom…
Have a nice weekend and have fun folks.
Thanks Joel. So true ! That is an excellent message and reminder to take care of ourselves. It is so easy to get caught up in the work we love doing. I find myself saying…one more thing…and then before you know it a few hours have gone by.
I’m stepping away from the computer right now and going to walk the dog and take in some fresh air.
Thank you 🙂
Barbara Arbster
Joel, thanks for bringing some fun into our business.
The late Princess Diana famously said there were three people in her marriage, well …
Time to let go (of the computer that is!)

Awesome post Joel and you are so right. “The subconscious mind cannot argue controversially. Hence, if it has accepted detrimental suggestions, the sure method of overcoming them is by the use of a strong counter-suggestion, frequently repeated, which the mind must accept, thus eventually forming new and healthy habits of thought and life, for the subconscious mind is the seat of Habit. That which we do over and over becomes mechanical; it is no longer an act of judgment, but has worn its deep grooves in the subconscious mind. This is favorable for us if the habit be wholesome and right all the time. If it be harmful and wrong, the remedy is to recognize the omnipotence of the subconscious mind and suggest present actual freedom. The subconscious being creative and one with our divine source will at once create the freedom suggested.” Charles F. Haanel “The Master Key System.” Have a great weekend Joel. Tell your dad I said hi
Frank 🙂
Joel,
Great Video! Thanks for making me laugh again. I’m so looking forward to meeting everyone in San Antonio. Have a great weekend.
All the best,
Ernie Pitochelli
The fun part about this business is that you can love what you do AND get great commissions doing it!
Thanks Joel for keeping my rent and electric bill paid each month for the last 11 months! I can concentrate on my other affiliate programs to earn additional income for the rest.
I really love being able to shut down the computer and take my Yvonne out for a walk or go watch a movie and not think about my business until I get up in the morning!
Keep up the great work!
Micheal Savoie
Great blog post Joel.
Truer words were never spoken.
One of the downfalls of enjoying your regular job or working on line.
We can’t lose sight of our families which mean so much to us.
We have to stop and smell the roses or all our sacrifices aren’t worth a darn!
Have a great week-end
Cheers,
Bev
Great video and thanks for sharing. I am glad to know I am not the man
who get into a long work cycle situation.
As always a great vlog post.. Glad Mike took some time for himself. I know I have the same problem. Not that I’m proud of it but I worked so much in front of this computer that it has cost me a relationship before.
I thank God I have been blessed to work from home full time but it took years of working part time to full time when there wasn’t enough hours in the day to finally accomplish my goal of working from home…
I also thank God that I met my wife online and we both have common interests.
The great thing about working from home and loving what you do is that you can get away when you want and need to. good thing Disney is right down the street.. LOL
Let me know if you guys ever make it down this way and we can get together for some fun in the sun.
Have an excellent and safe weekend.

Hi Joel
All work and no play makes no sense.
Hope you don’t end up looking like the pig at the end of the video.
Take the weekend off to relax, maybe go and wreck Ilona’s car again.
Richard
Very nice Joel.
Thx.
You are so right Joel it is all to easy
to spend way too much time loving what i
do, going off to the movies now with my
kids.
Great message Joel! Have a great weekend.
Yes love and enjoy what you do. Feeling good is the start of law of attraction.
I would love to have such problems.
I can’t afford the upfront commitment to a year’s worth of Titanium level right now, but I’d love t get the training.
I live in Houston, maybe I’ll drive to San Antonio and crash the party…just kidding..

Great Video!
Hey Joel,
Came back from a party and just thought i’d check my email before going to bed 🙂 (ironic?!)
I try never to work more then six hours a day (one week a month I allow myself more). If I feel I need more time then I need to outsource more, and the time I save I sit back and really reflect on my business to make sure I am improving and moving forward, not simply running day to day tasks.
I’ve follwed you for years, from before you hit the big time and I know you not only worked hard for your success but you worked hard for others to be successful too… it’s in your nature and it shows in your work.
Keep it up buddy, and see you on the next cruise
Dee
Nice blog joel. Work hard and Play well.
You definately don’t want to push so hard that you get bitten by Churchill’s black dog.

I love the Internet!! And whatever I do on it! But it should not be your or my whole life, not for any reason.
Get out and be with people – try some non-computer volunteer work. Voluntering can be extremely sastisfying!
Have a restful weekend Mike!
Well Bob I found my lap top! HEHE…
Yes I had a great day and relaxed. WOW a day and a
half away from the office with no PC! I needed it…all
nightly hand offs etc had caught up to me. Going to have
a quiet week end and will be ready for Monday!
Man we are getting so close…
Thanks for the post Bob, I hope you and everyone a
fantastic week end!
Thanks all!
Mike
It is so true Joel but now I tried to control by self. Thanks for reminding us.
Getting away is a necessary part of our lives so that we can really enjoy why we do what we do! Great Thought!
Thanks a lot Joel, You are sooooo right!
There is no sense on making money
if there is no fun!
Gracias Un buen consejo.
Y que pasen un excelente fin de semana!
Victor
I Took The day off as you advised…DUDE..IM NEVER GONNA LISTEN TO YOU AGAIN…lol
Jeez Look at My Inbox its stuffed! Now Im Way Behind.. Thanks to you!
Love you and my GVO Business Anyway!

Thanks Joel,
We do all need to have that reminder. I am as guilty as anyone –
spending way too much time in front of the computer. Especially,
when I work 8 hour days and come home and work at the computer
for another 6 or 7. Time is precious – I think that I just have
to get one more thing done, which leads to more.
After church and lunch tomorrow, I am going to take time to go
to our Arts in the Park Festival, just for fun!
Thanks again and have a great week end.
God bless.
What a post.
I think i needed that one.
Hey Joel, Mikey and Jaime, stay healthy and I promise to bring some great San Diego Weather to old brother San Antonio in October.
I can’t wait.
Josh Andrus
Enjoy your weekend off Mike… Looking forward to seeing the results of all that work when its ready!
Hi Joel,
Thank you and great advice. I am attending a Grenadian Heritage day event on Saturday.
Once again thank you and great advice.
Kelvin
This is a great post with an important and valuable reminder to caring about yourself. But I dare to question if there might be a little bit more to it. If you honestly love every(!) part of the job you are doing I believe you will not get exhausted. Yes you love your job but its the obstacles while your are working that might drive you nuts. You don’t count on them and you don’t need them. But they need to be handled in order to put yourself in the situation continuing the part of the work you love. Tiring is the love with interferences. Maybe its easier if you even learn to love those parts of your work which you don’t love?
You all take it easy!
John
Hi Joel,
A great video and we all need to take time out. Not only that needs to be done regularly and timeout with the kids is a # 1 priority as they need love and attention to grow up to be happy and become a grownup without the need of drugs and therapy to overcome what they lacked in growing up to become adults.
Never forget that for them a year takes forever and a year for us is just a moment away. It is so easy to say not now as I am busy, thou we forget that sometimes a minute with their need and attention can have results for their lifetime. Much, much better to get love and attention from Mom and Dad then from other influences such as drug addicts and other unhappy people of the world.
Take timeout with them now as time fly’s by for us and before we know it they are grown and no longer our little child but a grown woman or man with a job of surviving in this world.
Have a great and wonderful weekend. Cu later,
AugustW
Joel,
I have never written you before; only been with
GVO since 2/2010 and learning lots from you guys.
Thank you for sharing a truth that people really
need to become truly successful in life.
If you Google true successful living I have
a few article there, thanks to GVO easy video
There is a verse in the bible that says, The
blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and
he adds no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22.
This was written by a very wealthy man, King Solomon.
Very Wealthy! In addition, a man of great wisdom!
I know the dark side and paid the price with my
family and in health. Now called and dedicated
to helping teach others about “true successful living”.
This was the best thing I have personally seen you do, thanks
Al
VERY True ,thanks
Going to POOL Now Kidz ARE out There,,,
Ect…
Joel, Great blog, with a lot of meaning behind it.
We do sometimes get carried away with doing so much
that we forget about “THE WHY” we’re doing it.
Gotta take time to smell the flowers, so to speak.
How’s MikeyP doing? Hope all is well.
Thanks for the time off. I’m not where I want to be but the few times in my life where I have been where I wanted to be – boring – and that could be worse. A man’s reach should always exceed his grasp.
I going swimming…
Thanks guys
Hey Joel
I’m in agreement with Mike Call. You nailed it!!! I guess I must have attracted this video because I just wrote a schedule for myself 2 days ago and put time in for family so that I would stop neglecting them.
You are awesome
Ron “Simplified” Myers
The ending of this vid is a little bit disturbing :\
Oh man. I am so guilty of this. It’s my biggest challenge right now. The time flies when you are having fun but you miss out on the important things.
Even though I love doing certain tasks I am starting to outsource them so I can have more balance in my life and spend more time with my kids instead of being on the computer what seems like 24/7.
Hope you can relax soon!

Thanks for the reminder to participate in life which is more than just working our business. Time to go pick some fresh raspberries and peas out in the garden. Fresh air and sunshine…..
You are right Joel. But then in my spare time I would not be able to view these videos and read all these great comments. I guess I could call this time my break. I love watching you and Mike on the GVO News Channel! Sooo exciting! Bye for now, gotta get back to work.
Hey Mike/ joel all the best
Guilty – A friend of mine gave me this link after reading my last post – we are on the same page here – thanks for sharing.
Joel
Once again you have been inspiring and that my friend is a gift. We are so grateful for all you have done not only here with your blog, but what you have done and are doing with GVO….THIS ROCKS!

You are 200% absolutely right. Just could relate a couple of instances whereby doing what we do for long hours could actually hamper our ability to judge effectively. YES,
You are 200% absolutely right. Just could relate a couple of instances whereby doing what we do for long hours could actually hamper our ability to judge effectively. YES, we aught to strike a balance between what we call work and leisure. Moderation is still the best though we sometime forget, especially when we are so eager to get what we started done.
Joel, how about cutting out all the CRAP and do what you said you would from from day 1!!!! Teach us everything you know about marketing online.
Why on earth, should I come to Texas, of all places to learn marketing? You’ve got access to video. Put it online.
